Hey, I’m Shan Wright, daughter of the King, wife, mom to 4, RN, Wellness coach. I know very well what it feels like to want to live well, but completely overwhelmed, anxious and about to lose it with my very #blessed full life! I let these feelings take control which led to more chaos, more frustrations and deeper disconnections to my people and myself.

After realizing I can’t pour from an empty cup and postpartum anxiety, I sought the Prince of PEACE and tracked my way to whole body wellness. By courageously taking action into simple holistic solutions for accountability and intentional living, I found the way to peace and I’m so excited to share it with you!

Welcome Back, Wellness Warrior!    On Tuesday, I shared an interview with Lauren Collins from the PMS Made Peaceful show. Lauren and I have so much in common and have similar stories with main commonality of anxiety.    Today, I think it would be a great follow up for you to hear my menstrual cycle testimony. We all have hormones and for those of us that struggle with anxiety, these chemical messengers have been screaming at us since we have gotten our cycles and we aren’t and haven’t been listening ( myself included)!    BUT since realizing ALL these emotions, stress, irritability, overwhelm have been manifestations of anxiety has been so helpful in how to holistically heal. Welcome Back, Wellness Warrior!  Sharing something today that we ALL can relate to…back to hormone health today. We all have HOREMONES, are we listening to these little messengers though?? They are constantly relaying messages, but are we paying any attention?    Our guest today started paying attention and discovered something. She went on a journey to pursue peace in her hormone health. We are both nurses and love the body and have similar stories. Unfortunately, we have a lot of mic noises that I couldn't edit out- so sorry for the distracting noises. But gotta listen through it, because it’s so good!    Lauren is a registered nurse, wellness coach, mom, Christ-follower and the host of the podcast PMS Made Peaceful. For years, Lauren struggled to manage debilitating negative and anxious thoughts that would bombard her in the week before getting her period. She would often feel like a failure as a wife and friend, and that she just didn't have the capacity to care for herself well. When she started to work with her body and the natural rhythms God had created her with through holistic wellness and implementing habits daily, things started to shift. Welcome back, Wellness Warrior!    There are many things that contribute to my anxiety, and yours.
