This week Ally is switching up her normal format a bit and bringing you a little bit more of a workshop style episode all about the seasons of our cycles and how our menstrual cycle connects us to the moon. This is a workshop that Ally often teaches at retreats or corporate events and we wanted you all to have access to this incredible wisdom that will hopefully help you navigate your own cycles and become more in tune with the seasons of your body and life.TakeawaysUnderstanding the connection between our menstrual cycles and the seasons can help us better navigate our lives and honor our bodies. Each phase of the menstrual cycle corresponds to a different season and archetype, offering unique energies and opportunities.Rest and nourishment are important during the menstrual phase (winter), while strategy and renewal are emphasized during the follicular phase (spring). The ovulatory phase (summer) is a time of boldness and fertility, while the luteal phase (fall) is a time of reflection and tying up loose ends.Society is not designed to support the cyclical nature of our bodies, so it's important to take agency and care for ourselves. There are different menstrual cycles that align with the phases of the moon: white moon cycle, red moon cycle, pink moon cycle, and purple moon cycle. The white moon cycle represents nurturing and mothering energy, while the red moon cycle represents healing and outward energy. The pink moon cycle is a transition time, where one is stepping into their power and gaining light. The purple moon cycle is a time of reflection and asking oneself what they truly want.Understanding and tracking one's menstrual cycle can provide valuable insights and guidance for self-care and personal growth.Episode Resources:Ally Maz: Instagram / WebsiteThe Ally Maz Show: Apple / SpotifyAlly on Youtube Hosted on Acast.
