Up in Salt Lake City, the Utah Utes are putting on an absolute clinic in what old-school, suffocating football looks like, racing out to an unblemished 5-0 start under first-year head coach Morgan Scalley.Forget any transition talk—this program hasn't skipped a beat. Every single victory this season has come by a margin of 14 points or more, proving that the Utes are built to completely overwhelm opponents from the opening whistle. Rice-Eccles Stadium remains an absolute house of horrors for anyone unfortunate enough to walk into it, stretching a home dominance where opponents get physically and mentally broken in the trenches. Whether they are routing Arkansas or marching into hostile environments like Jack Trice Stadium to take care of business against Iowa State, Utah plays with the trademark discipline, punishing defense, and relentless offensive line play that defines elite Big 12 contenders. With an active win streak stretching back deep into last season, this team is executing at a championship level. While the national media chases flash-in-the-pan narratives, the Utes just keep stacking dominant performances, playing smart complementary football, and proving that the Beehive State is a permanent powerhouse. When you combine elite defensive culture with a punishing run game, you get a juggernaut that nobody wants to see on their schedule.Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!KALSHIFor a limited time, Download Kalshi and use code Locked On to get $25 when you trade $25. Kalshi. If anyone still doubts the absolute, week-in and week-out bloodbath that is the Big 12, they clearly weren't paying attention to another chaotic slate of football. It starts right at the top with BYU continuing to set the gold standard, refusing to flinch as they navigated another physical landmine and kept their undefeated machine rolling. Kalani Sitake’s squad embodies the exact brand of relentless trench warfare that separates true contenders from pretenders, proving that surviving this conference requires an iron jaw and unmatched developmental depth.Meanwhile, up in Salt Lake City, Utah continues to show why the Beehive State is a epicenter of old-school, hard-nosed football. The Utes are constantly locked in the thick of this conference's brutal weekly survival test, where every single Saturday feels like an elimination game and no one is safe. From top to bottom, this league is an absolute meat grinder where manufactured coastal narratives go to die. While traditional media pundits try to crown predictable favorites elsewhere, the Big 12 delivers authentic, high-stakes parity every single time the pads pop. Week 6 once again reminded the entire country that if you can survive a conference schedule where every opponent is built for physical warfare, you can survive anything.Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!KALSHIFor a limited time, Download Kalshi and use code Locked On to get $25 when you trade $25. Kalshi. Out of the shadows of the Wasatch Mountains, a seventeen-year silence is finally about to be shattered. For over a decade and a half, the traveling kingdom of College GameDay walked past these peaks, treating the holy grounds of Provo like a well-kept secret. But some forces simply become too heavy to ignore. When the autumn mist settles over LaVell Edwards Stadium and the No. 3 Notre Dame Fighting Irish step into the crucible to face No. 8 BYU, the veil drops. This isn't just a football game; it's a convergence of football destiny. For years, the coastal gatekeepers whispered that the true elite lived elsewhere, cloaked in the myths of regional monopolies. Yet Kalani Sitake’s Cougars have forged something ancient and unbreakable out here in the desert air—a culture built in the quiet, brutal trenches where legends are truly born. They didn't wait for an invitation to the table; they kicked the heavy oak doors down. A clash of two undefeated titans in a primetime national window has summoned the entire broadcasting pantheon right to the edge of the mountains. When Rece Davis speaks into the autumn night and the sea of humanity roars beneath the lights, the phantom doubts of the past will finally be put to rest.Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!KALSHIFor a limited time, Download Kalshi and use code Locked On to get $25 when you trade $25. Kalshi. The absolute electric shockwave pulsing through Provo right now is historic, because College GameDay is officially breaking a 17-year hiatus and heading to the Wasatch Front for a monumental top-ten showdown! When No. 3 Notre Dame rolls into town to face No. 8 BYU, it represents a massive validation of everything Kalani Sitake’s squad has built. For years, the national media establishment treated this pre-game circus like a closed-door country club strictly reserved for legacy brands and regional monopolies. But the Cougars have completely smashed down the gates. You don't get the premier desk, the screaming signs, and the main-stage spotlight handed to you—you earn it through absolute, unadulterated trench warfare, elite developmental depth, and sheer grit. And LaVell Edwards Stadium has turned into the most deafening, terrifying environment in all of college football. This isn't just a massive win for Provo; it’s a seismic middle finger to coastal gatekeepers who sleep on the relentless power of the Big 12 meat grinder. Two undefeated College Football Playoff contenders locking horns in a prime-time ABC window proves that the absolute best, most high-stakes football on the planet thrives wherever a program is forged on discipline and old-school physicality. When Rece Davis and the crew set up shop against the backdrop of the majestic mountains, it sends a definitive message to the selection committee and every armchair pundit in the country: elite toughness doesn't care about your zip code.Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!KALSHIFor a limited time, Download Kalshi and use code Locked On to get $25 when you trade $25. Kalshi.
