The witness not remembering whether she called it in or not. it’s kind of weird to me. If I was walking on a trail and came across a murderer and I remember vividly seeing him on a trail. I would’ve called the cops or I would’ve known I didn’t call the cops I mean Seems kind of strange that she doesn’t remember that but everybody’s different. It seems odd. I don’t care how long it took me to call it in. I would’ve reported it. He’s a murderer !!!
Wow, that’s the most surprising account of a witness seeing Robert after the murders and it’s mind blowing that it wasn’t followed up on. The podcast kind of ended very abruptly in my opinion and that was a little disappointing. I thoroughly enjoyed this podcast and I appreciate the investigative reporter, sharing personal stories and experiences. I loved all of the interviews. Well done and a great podcast, but most importantly, great writing and investigative work!
The interview with Greg was very good. He’s an interesting man. I am enjoying this podcast very much.
I think there should be some discussion about sociopaths, psychopaths and malignant narcissists . Because some killers are just that. They do not function in the same way a normal person would. They lack empathy and from a young age as well.
Continue: the nonviolent but verbally and emotionally abusive type sounds like what Robert was. And his wife may have put up with that for a long time. But they sound like very quiet and private people. I wonder if she started to rebel against his control and that didn’t go over well with Robert. Usually the most dangerous time for a woman is when she starts to fight back or threatens to leave.
Regarding his friend from the last episode, that was having a hard time thinking this man could’ve killed his family. She saw him mostly in a work environment and on occasional weekend outings. Other friends saw him in a different way. Humans have different sides in different environments. I truly think some people can hide their true self easily. I feel Robert was one of these people. The friend that described him as being controlling in an emotional/verbal way rather than in a violent way
The human race never ceases to horrify me. Collins, the guy trapped in the cave, and people made money off of his demise. Then showed off his dead body for additional money. It is nauseating that some people actually want to see that sort of thing. I don’t have that much faith in the human race, honestly
I do appreciate the three dimensional description of Robert. I have trouble thinking he,or anybody, who can slit the throats of small children, can still be considered a good person. Psychopaths can pretend to be a good person . Was he genuinely a good person before he decided to brutally murder his family?
A one and a half mile radius is not very much. I wish they would’ve expanded the search on that mountain.
This is a really good podcast. Very well done. There are no tigers in Arizona. Just FYI 😂 I hope they were kidding.
Worst episodes ever
This gave me claustrophobia just listening to it.
Unhinged maniac shoots dog is correct. What a fucking question is that?

Thank you for calling out the factory wheel, fake journalism with a cohost who acts like she's dumb with her obvious questions; best of luck getting to the answers you're actually trying to answer!
