Ein Teil von Gelsenkirchen ist als Heimat des FC Schalke 04 bekannt, bietet jedoch weit mehr als nur Fußball. Diese lebendige Stadt vereint Kunst, Freizeit und Industrie auf harmonische Weise. In den 1960er Jahren erlebte Gelsenkirchen eine bedeutende Transformation. A part of Gelsenkirchen is known as the home of FC Schalke 04, but offering so much more beyond football. This vibrant city harmoniously blends art, leisure, and industry. The 1960s brought significant transformation to Gelsenkirchen. Former mines evolved into recreational areas and cultural sites, while old railway tracks were repurposed into scenic cycling routes, keeping the city's heritage alive.
