First, I’d like to thank you all for your patience as Tales From the Truth Seekers had to take a brief hiatus. But we are back, and the past few weeks’ episodes will be coming to you this week! I am excited to reintroduce a truly magical person to you all, Mr. Mark Phillips, whom you may have met in Season One. Mark opens up about his continued psychic evolution at Arthur Findlay College, which we affectionally refer to as the “real life Hogwarts.” (Yes, it is a magic school, housed inside a beautiful chateau in the UK.) When Joan Walton wast just 16 years old, she walked out of church confirmation classes, upon learning the ceremony meant that she believed every single word in the Bible to be true. This started a lifelong, experiential, journey for Joan that set her on a path to discover universal spiritual truths for herself. The commonly held belief surrounding sleep paralysis is that it is a disorder, a glitch of the brain if you will, nothing more. Dr. Joan Walton has generously offered to switch hats with the host of Tale from the Truth Seekers so that listeners could get the inside perspective on Natalie’s story, what motivated her to start the podcast to begin with, and what she has learned and observed by interviewing 30+ people about their spiritual experiences in just one year. Dr. Joan Walton’s main role is at York St. John University in the UK, in the School of Education. In 1977, P.M.H. Atwater died and came back three consecutive times. After this experience, she was sure that she was going crazy, until she attended a symposium in which a speaker gave a talk on eternal consciousness and shared an image that exactly matched what she had experienced when she died. She was finally validated. While she was existing beyond the veil, she also heard a voice, so big it filled the entire universe, and the voice told her that she was to do the research, and write a book for each of her deaths. Over the past forty-three years she has gone on to write twenty-seven books and has studied roughly five-thousand cases of near-death experience. In this episode, she opens up about her childhood, how she got her name, and she shares stories about all the people she’s met along the way. While unconditional love is the common denominator in near-death studies, the divorce rate post-experience is as high as 80%. Mrs. Atwater shares her insight on why this is, and how we can better support these wise but vulnerable souls as they navigate reentry into the material. In her teenage years, Dr. Sioux Oliva discovered The Urantia Book, and after encountering beings from another dimension on a California beach, her curiosity around non-human intelligence has never waned. In 2014 she published Dr. Sadler and The Urantia Book: A History of Spiritual Revelation in the 20th Century. In this episode, she shares with us a wealth of knowledge and research around NHI. Anthony and Boutaina both immigrated to the United States as children giving them unique and highly insightful perspectives from a young age. After graduating college and finding their way into the work force, they both found themselves in the position of being asked to analyze “narratives” online in order to “get ahead” of any naturally occurring beliefs the public held that were not optimal for company sales or political successes. Jessica Desilets spent her childhood as a Catholic, but in later years felt confused by the notion that such a loving and forgiving god could simultaneously be so harshly judgmental. Tonya Schroka is no stranger to spiritual experiences, having had ties to the other realm since childhood. C.S. Patrick grew up going to Catholic mass, only to find it repetitive, empty, and nonsensical. Yet he always held interest in the mysterious side of life, resulting in the opportunity to embark on a real-life ghost hunt with Chip Coffey from the popular TV show Paranormal State. After many slight brushes with the unexplainable, he began to research the medicinal effects of psilocybin, and became curious to try it for himself. Already a nature lover, Patrick came to realize that the states he could access through this natural aid, brought him to levels of empathy and wonder he could have only ever imagined before. These experiences then fueled him to find validation and context within the Eastern and indigenous religions of the world, and to continue to advocate for open-mindedness in the face of the great divine mystery. C.S. Patrick’s Bio: C.S. Patrick is a professional brewer and small business owner. He has a Bachelor’s of Architecture and a Master's in Construction Management. He spent eight years building pharmaceutical clean rooms, schools, and civic buildings domestically and internationally. He is also a bassist for a regionally touring band with radio airtime, and an amateur mycologist. The assassination of Charlie Kirk shifted something. For me, I could no longer sit back and stay silent as I watched my fellow liberals cheer and laugh at someone’s brutal murder on TikTok. Their reactions ignited a fire in me to educate the American public on the realities of the age of misinformation they are living in. I was shocked at how many people online misinterpreted my pleas for humanity as Nazi sympathy. But I refuse to live in a society made up of cultism and senseless death. For those of you who have been following me on social media, I want to reiterate that this has nothing to do with politics, social issues, or sides, and that my claims about brainwashing are for every American, including myself. No one is immune. In this episode, I interview former open-source intelligence analyst, Anthony Miller. In it, Anthony breaks down for us the entire journey that information takes before it reaches you and I. From analysts, to customers with government or corporate interests who buy the information, to how they use that information and for what purposes, to media, news outlets, public affairs spokes people, out of context headlines and video clips, to social media echo chambers, then eventually to us. You may have heard of Scarlett’s story, as she was featured on The UnXplained with William Shatner in 2019. But her experience barely fits into a television show format, as it is one of the most beautiful stories you might hear on your quest to know the unknowable. Scarlett was doing her best as a single mother of two boys with special needs, when she discovered reiki healing could be highly beneficial to her son, so she decided to earn her certification. One night, while attending her AA meeting, she met a grieving mother who confessed that she had just been told by the hospital that there was nothing more they could do for her son. Much to her own surprise, Scarlett responded by telling the mother not to give up just yet, and that she would be happy to perform reiki on him the next day. This is where the unbelievably powerful magic, channelled from the beyond, begins to illuminate her story. He was a stranger, hovering between worlds, and she was a channel for divine love. Laurel Waterman was a happily married wife and mother of two small children when the unexpected death of her husband in 2018 launched her into a quest for proof of consciousness beyond the brain. Rowena Worth has a background working in corporate, was a body builder, endured years of abuse and workplace bullying, and followed the societal expectations of continuously moving along, until one day it all caught up with her and she found herself in a completely dissociative state. Unable to perform mundane tasks, professionals told her that she would never fully heal. And yet, Rowena has come to call her breakdown a breakthrough, because she mysteriously knew throughout all of the turmoil that if she took this pause as an opportunity to listen to the voice within that she would be okay, that she is okay, and that she always was. In a world that’s falling apart and seems laden with suffering, there’s a simultaneous unfolding of a collective awaking to our true nature and purpose on this earth. In this realm of duality, perhaps these extremes are unavoidable, yet the natural inclination towards balance is what can always bring us hope. I know, from a deep experiential place, that the human spirit, and all of creation, is made of one consciousness bound together by a force called “unconditional love.” So as we look out upon the landscapes of horror that seem to infiltrate our news sources, the best antidote to chaos that exists, is simply connecting with this gentle, profoundly powerful force within ourselves. Not through chasing, or attaching, but through pause, connection, and compassion for what’s real, now. This is the only true antidote. This is sanity.I also hope it goes without saying that plenty of people have good experiences with religion, I do not condone gaslighting in the face of suffering, you should dream big, and any and all kinds of people have spiritual gifts. At a young age Todd favored connecting with nature over the stuffy atmosphere of the church. His temple was “true wilderness.” Later in life, after becoming reacquainted with psychedelics, he began to understand that he was somehow relating with a consciousness that was beyond his own.
