An identity shift. You’ll learn how familiarity, survival mode, and subconscious programming keep you stuck in cycles, even when you truly want different.Belinda shares personal stories, real-life examples, and practical reflections to help you understand how safety, capacity, and small repeated actions retrain your system for growth. In this episode, we explore:Why the subconscious chooses familiar over healthyHow the nervous system resists unfamiliar changeThe role of identity in lasting transformationWhy change is a practice, not a decisionHow building capacity helps you tolerate discomfortThe link between regulation and perceptionSelf-reflection questions to interrupt old patternsA simple embodiment exercise to reconnect with yourselfThis episode is for anyone who feels stuck between wanting more and staying where it feels safe, and is ready to understand why.Podcast Sponsor:Evolution Botanicals specialises in functional mushrooms, tonic herbs, and superfoods to support energy, immunity, focus, strength, gut health and wellness. In this episode, Belinda is joined by former NRL player, media personality and men’s wellness facilitator Ryan Girdler for an honest conversation about men’s mental health, identity, pressure, and what real transformation actually looks like.Ryan shares his “that was then, this is now” story from professional football and public success to the quieter, more confronting inner work that followed. They unpack what happens when the structure disappears, when achievement no longer defines you, and when you’re forced to slow down and meet yourself without distraction. This conversation goes far beyond football. It’s about men stepping out of the system, letting go of control, doing the work, finding purpose, and getting clear on what you’d be willing to do for your family.Ryan talks about how meditation and breathwork changed his life and led him to the path he’s on now… being of service, running retreats and events, facilitating breathwork, and advocating for men’s mental health by living what he teaches.A grounded and real conversation about growth, evolving as a man, and having the courage to do the inner work.Podcast Sponsor:Evolution Botanicals specialises in functional mushrooms, tonic herbs, and superfoods to support energy, immunity, focus, strength, gut health and wellness. And everyone isn’t for you.Belinda shares practical reflections on how to navigate shifting relationships, release the need for approval, and find ease with the people and spaces that truly align with who you are today. Content warning: This episode discusses addiction, mental health struggles, and suicide. If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out to a mental health professional or support line in your area. In Australia, you can contact Lifeline on 13 11 14.Labelled “the fat kid” growing up, Darcy never felt like he belonged. Food became his first coping mechanism, followed by drugs at a young age in a search for acceptance. By his teens, he’d been expelled from three schools, was living on the streets, and deeply involved in crime and addiction. After years of struggling including a suicide attempt, jail became the turning point that forced Darcy to face reality. While incarcerated, he built discipline through routine, training, meditation, and journaling. A promise to his terminally ill mother became the foundation of his sobriety. Now, eight years sober, Darcy works as a personal trainer and coach, helping others from his lived experience. This episode is proof that no matter how far you fall, the choices you make next can save you.Podcast Sponsor:Evolution Botanicals: real, natural support for your health. As we head into the New Year, there’s a message everywhere: New Year. New You. It sounds motivating, but for most people, it doesn’t last.Only 8% of people actually succeed with their New Year’s resolutions. And it’s not because they’re lazy, unmotivated, or incapable. It’s because resolutions are built on hope, not on habits, and real change requires much more than motivation. In this episode, Belinda unpacks why resolutions fail, what’s really happening in your nervous system when change feels hard, and what actually creates sustainable, long-term transformation. This is not about hype, pressure, or reinventing yourself overnight. It’s about understanding the patterns underneath your behaviour, and learning how to work with your body, not against it.By the end of this episode, you’ll feel grounded, clear, and resourced, not fired up for a week, but supported for real change that lasts.Podcast Sponsor:Evolution Botanicals: real, natural support for your health. Who you spend time with shapes everything, your habits, your choices, your stress, your growth, and your sense of self. In this episode, Belinda explains why your nervous system mirrors the people and environments around you, not because you’re weak, but because this is how humans are wired. You’ll learn why some people feel regulating and expansive, while others leave you dysregulated, drained, or stuck in old patterns, and how your childhood experiences shape what feels “normal,” even when it isn’t healthy. In this episode, Belinda sits down with the radiant and heart-led Seriya Cutbush, co-founder of Sound Healing Australia.Seriya shares her unique journey from growing up with a Yogi as mum and living between Byron Bay and ashrams in India, to navigating grief, a near-death experience, to stepping into motherhood and building a life rooted in sound, frequency, spirituality, and presence. You’ll hear about:Motherhood & Healing – how becoming a mother reshaped her spiritual practice and deepened the way she shows up in the world. The Power of Sound – why sound is her soul language and how it supports true healing on every level.Beyond Spiritual Bypassing – the importance of fully feeling and processing emotions instead of skipping straight to “the bigger picture.”Life’s Greatest Teachers – the lessons that human experiences have offered her along the way.Seriya reminds us that “Healing is non-linear. Even in the stillness, transformation is happening.”Podcast Sponsor:Evolution Botanicals: real, natural support for your health.
