Decoding TV Presents A Cast of Kings: A quasi-weekly discussion of the plots, themes and highlights of the HBO series "House of the Dragon." Your hosts Dave Chen (The Filmcast and The Tobolowsky Files) and Kim Renfro (entertainment reporter at Insider, author of The Unofficial Guide to Game of Thrones) will dish up both praise and criticism and will try not to sound too pompous if the book was better. Though their characters may not be walking around Westeros anymore, Game of Thrones is still a big part of these actors' lives. Hear about what it was like to discover their characters were meeting their ends, what it's like to be part of the Game of Thrones phenomenon, and what they're up to now. Thanks again to Con of Thrones for allowing us to participate and providing the audio for this panel. I liked your podcast until the horrible crying about the time jumps dave chen
I'm outta here. Excessive use of the word "like" and vocal fry is just too hard to listen to.
thanks for a great podcast.... wow this is old.
Wow this is great
it "feels like a betrayal" only to people who chose to ignore all the signs she would be villainous as well as her objectively dark deeds.
Did Sansa say she was glad she was raped? I don't recall that. I remember her saying it made her who she was. She wasn't a little bird anymore (naive anymore), I think that's what she meant. I don't think she meant the rape "made her who she was", I think she meant it opened her eyes to now terrible the world could be.
Sending much love to you guys! Thank you for the years of entertaining and thoughtful discussion!
you guys are the best!
wtf, new here. is there a Chance for more commercial sh*t..
How did the Night King die? Got stabbed with a little dagger when he wasn't looking. How did the Dragon Queen die? Got stabbed with a little dagger when she wasn't looking. 🤨😒😣
Ah "The Shield"...great show.
Pretty bad episode
I really enjoy your podcast.
you guys know we only want to hear your thoughts on the show an theories, not dumb PC liberal BS. Well this shows over soon right womp womp
Coverage of the episode beings 30 minutes in just FYI. Then they skip over some major points on the episode.
there is some good analysis here but having half the podcast spent viewing the show through a politically correct lense is pretty tiring.
Please can someone share a link to the song at the start of the show S08e04. It’s brilliant
I think there is no dragon at the end, what do you think?
thanks for the MM and BB spoiler warnings lmao genuinely appreciate that
There are a lot of “arm-chair” military strategists complaining about how the Dothraki were used in battle. They’ are... were... cavalrymen, where else were they supposed to be? Behind the walls of Winterfell?
