Description

In 1985, actor Eric Stoltz was unceremoniously fired from Back to the Future and replaced with Michael J. Fox. (Yeah, that really happened.) Now, in this time-bending comedy podcast, a present-day Eric Stoltz tries to even the score — with the help of a rickety time machine, a drinking buddy named Christopher Lloyd and a serious drive to return to '85 and redo the events that changed his life (and movies) forever. Will Eric rewrite Hollywood history, or ruin everything he touches? Spoiler: probably both.

Back to Back to the Future is an eight-part narrative podcast series created by Shawn Donnelly and Steve Mazzucchi, produced by Donovan Leitch, and sound-designed by Austin Audio Lab and Caballero Sounds. For more information, visit backtobacktothefuture.net or contact btbttf85@gmail.com.

Eric spends a little time with his younger self in 1985. Also, remember phonebooks? Producer's note: In the grand tradition of Star Trek (which began life with a long-unaired episode called "The Cage" before a major overhaul), BTBTTF boasts an all-new cast and crew for Episode 2. We think you AND your kids are gonna love it, and don't worry, it's here to stay for future episodes!
Down on his luck in present-day Los Angeles, actor Eric Stoltz — the original Marty McFly — reaches a breaking point after a very bad day. Discovering that his unlikely drinking buddy, Christopher Lloyd, was once given a "time machine" by a super fan, he decides to use it to travel back to 1985, bound and determined to keep his younger self in the box-office smash Back to the Future. But will the dusty old thing even work??
