At the end of 2023, I hit a wall. Anxiety and burnout forced me to slow down and rebuild (you can hear more in earlier episodes). Out of that experience came Beautiful Inside — a space for honest conversations about mental health, healing, and redefining beauty as something that starts within. In this solo episode, I share my current Sacred Six — the six rituals and mindset shifts helping me heal, reset, and find balance.1. Creating a Sacred SpaceIt includes my:• Infraredi red light: here’s my discount code. Here’s the article about it • Dyson Supersonic R• My 5 Minute Journal • My Pulsetto device: here's another discount code '• Fragrances by The Ayu and Shemana, candles, incense, crystals, prayer beads, and a photo of my grandmother • Tools like my De La Heart lymphatic tool and Lonvitalite dermarollerThe space itself, with a Viola marble benchtop from Allambie Marble Crafts and VJ panels, feels beautiful and intentional. It reminds me daily of the power of ritual and environment in healing.2. Energy Healing: The Spiral Soul Healing with KellieI recently completed an 8-week Spiral with SoulHealingKellie. Her own story of trauma and transformation inspired me to dive in, and the process combined emotional clearing, EFT, and inner child work. What it gave me: • More openness, less procrastination • Courage to take action • Cleared blocks around goal-setting and asking for what I want • Freedom to dream bigger without fearIt taught me one vital lesson: get out of your own way.3. Spinal Energetics with Dr Sarah JaneDr Sarah Jane created Spinal Energetics™, blending chiropractic, psychology, and energy work. In my session, she “read” my pain with uncanny accuracy — at one point, my arm felt on fire. Though my neck pain is ongoing, I saw how physical and emotional healing mirror one another.4. Breath & Sound Healing with Tanya AlijaniThrough her Soulchemy method, Tanya combines breathwork and sound frequencies that shift the body into deep relaxation. My intention was to release parenting anxiety — I left feeling lighter, calmer, transformed.5. Yin Yoga at Modern MovementYin has become my Sunday reset. At Modern Movement, teachers Tim and Rose create a spiritual, still space that balances out the intensity of other practices.6. Mindset Shifts with Mel RobbinsMel Robbins’ Let Them philosophy and 5 Second Rule gave me structure and motivation. They helped me clarify my fitness goals — weights, running, swimming — and reminded me that movement is medicine for body, mind, and soul. And if you love this episode, stay tuned — I’ll be sharing even more rituals, products, and practices in my upcoming Sacred Sixty Selfcare and Wellness Guide. This season of Beautiful Inside is proudly brought to you by Blue Haven Pools. We’ve partnered with Blue Haven to bring our dream pool to life—a custom concrete plunge pool designed to flow seamlessly from our kitchen and dining area, complete with magnesium mineral water, pale Onix mosaic tiles, and white limestone pavers for that Mediterranean feel.Blue Haven has spent over 50 years building beautiful, functional pools, offering everything from fully customised designs to world-first online pool packages for standard blocks.Visit bluehaven.com.au to explore what’s possible—and stay tuned for our Pool Diaries mini-series at the end of this episode.Rate and review on iTunes Follow Sigourney on Instagram, Youtube and TikTok: Follow Beauticate on Instagram: and Facebook

In this transformative episode of our Sacred Spaces series, sponsored by King Living, we delve into the story of Gary Gorrow—renowned meditation teacher, Vedic master, and the visionary co-creator of Soma, a wellness retreat nestled in the Byron Bay hinterland.
Soma is a sanctuary for healing and transformation, set across nine hectares of lush tropical countryside. Its design, a stunning collaboration between Gary, his brother and designer George Gorrow, and Balinese architect Rieky Sunur, seamlessly blends modern minimalism with Balinese influences. From the iconic geodesic yoga dome to the serene bamboo garden and lotus pond, Soma’s beauty serves as a perfect backdrop for mindfulness and connection.
Gary’s own home, located on the Soma property, reflects the same ethos, with floor-to-ceiling windows that invite nature inside and create a deep sense of tranquility. It was in this space, with the rain falling outside and Gary’s cat Leopold purring nearby, that we sat down for this heartfelt conversation.
Gary shares his journey from growing up on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, struggling with depression and burnout in his early career in film and TV production, to discovering meditation as a tool to heal his nervous system and change his mindset. He speaks about his “calling” to become a meditation teacher, working with A-list stars and CEOs, and the profound lessons he’s learned along the way.
In this episode, Gary also provides practical insights into building a meaningful meditation practice and creating spaces that foster inner peace—lessons I’ve been applying in my own life with transformative results.

In today’s episode from our Sacred Spaces Series, sponsored by King Living, I sit down with the extraordinary Laura May Gibbs, the founder and creative visionary behind Nagnata, a Byron Bay-based sustainable fashion brand redefining the industry.
We recorded this conversation in Nagnata’s flagship store in Byron Bay, a space that feels more like an art gallery than a retail shop. Designed in collaboration with the Pattern Studio, the store is a dreamscape of hand-carved timber pillars and curvaceous forms inspired by global architecture. It’s serene and soothing by day, but with LED lighting, it can transform into a vibrant and energetic space.
In this intimate chat, Laura May opens up about her rebellious youth, her journey into yoga and bodywork, and the personal healing that shaped her career. We explore how she balances creativity with sustainability, the emotional challenges of running a purpose-led business, and the lessons she’s learned from staying true to her values in an ever-changing industry.
Get ready for a conversation filled with inspiration, honesty, and a glimpse into the world of one of fashion’s most authentic innovators.

In our regular “Sacred Six” episode of Beautiful Inside by Beauticate I’m diving into 6 Ways We Can All Live Longer. Broadcasting from the beautiful Regent Phu Quoc in Vietnam, it was the perfect setting to ponder some transformative health insights. I recently underwent a comprehensive Longevity Assessment at the Longevity Medicine Institute in Double Bay with GP and longevity guru Dr Adam Brown, where I gained life-changing knowledge on how fitness, diet, and mindset contribute to a longer, healthier life. I also overcame some limiting self beliefs I have about myself that I’ve had since childhood.
The six tips discussed in this video are rooted in the latest longevity research and feature practical, accessible steps anyone can take. Starting with exercise, Dr. Adam advises diversifying fitness routines across strength, cardio, and endurance to improve long-term health and combat preventable diseases.
Nutritional shifts include protein-focused diets, increased calcium intake, and vitamin D supplements, all aimed at boosting muscle mass and bone density. These small, evidence-based lifestyle changes create a powerful foundation for lasting health.
Join the conversation, find out how these tips may work for you, and learn how to turn health insights into everyday habits!

Welcome back to Beautiful Inside. Today, I’m chatting with the fabulous Jodie Matthews, founder of ashaya. Now, this episode is extra special as it ties into Menopause Awareness Month, which is something I’ve personally been navigating as I enter perimenopause. I’ve had physical symptoms—from anxiety to gastrointestinal issues—that I didn’t even realise were related to peri! I’ve known Jodie for years from when she was heading up MAC Cosmetics and she has always been someone who leads with passion and purpose. I caught up with her recently and was really inspired by how she has approached this new phase in her life and I wanted to get a different perspective for dealing with peri and menopause. In this episode, she opens up about the struggles she faced, and how those personal experiences drove her to start ashaya—a brand that’s all about supporting women through every stage of life. From the mental health side to physical transformations, we dive deep into how we can all navigate these changes with knowledge, compassion, and a bit of humour. And because we love to spoil our Beautiful Inside community, we're partnering with ashaya for a fabulous giveaway. Stay tuned for details on our Instagram account. Whether you're in the midst of your own perimenopause journey, or just want to be better prepared for what’s ahead, this conversation is a must-watch.Also with thanks to our season sponsors Qure Skincare we are offering five lucky subscribers a chance to win one of their Qure Q-Rejuvalight Pro Facewear LED Masks. Welcome back to Beautiful Inside, and today I’m so excited to have the incredible Leah Simmons with us. She’s a powerhouse in the wellness world and the brains behind KAAIA – a revolutionary workout that blends breathwork, bodywork, meditation, and mindset. But there’s so much more to Leah than just fitness.
Before becoming a wellness pioneer, Leah was living it up in London’s vibrant music scene, working for a record label and soaking up every experience. Her journey hasn’t always been smooth, though. In our chat, she opens up about her struggles with authenticity, how social media once became her crutch, and the bold steps she took to turn it all around. We dive deep into her story of resilience, and self-discovery, and how she now uses challenges as fuel for growth.
I first got a taste of Leah's magic during lockdown when she hosted free KAAIA classes on Zoom. Her infectious energy and those feel-good 80s and 90s dance vibes were just the lift we all needed! This episode is packed with inspiration for anyone looking to live more authentically and embrace holistic well-being. So, if you’re ready, let’s dive in!
