A site that has long been a formative inspiration for us as listeners, as well as for this show, we chat about some of our favorite reviews from the site, our thoughts on its evolution over the last decade, and whether or not we think it should've spent more time covering Phish. Your eyes and ears are not deceiving you, there’s a new episode of Beyond the Pond! The battle against Phish myopia rages on. In Episode 114 we do a deep dive into the thirty minute, extremely wide-ranging version of Ghost from Nuremberg, Germany on July 3, 1997. Only the eighth Ghost ever played, Phish is more than comfortable giving it the epic treatment because they were basically capable of ANYTHING in July of 1997, and were already well aware that this song would become a set tentpole for years to come.
