Black PERL Presents: "Speak on it"

"Speak on it" is an African American opinioned talk show hosted by author and debater La'Vez A. Real1. This podcast discusses the most recent current events, while giving an enthusiastically witty and educated opinion as to how these events, and circumstances as irrelevant and indirect as they may appear, will, in one way or another, directly affect the well-being and livelihood of all people of color. "Speak on it" is a way for myelinated people to stay aware of what's going on around the world without having to turn on the TV only to hear the watered-down version of the news.

REAL TALK SEGMENT2; Raising children after age 40. Also, the importance of moving around in order to mentally evolve.

With trends and fashion and technology, is it really wise to have children after you've turned 40, and live a borderline lower to middle-class lifestyle? Unless the two parties are a well-established item, it will be extremely difficult to provide for a growing child, this day in age unless at least one of them is extremely well-off financially. Also;;; it is important for us as people of color to "leave the nest" and travel to other places, observing the multitudes of different types of cultures as well as people. Put yourself in a different environment and challenge the mind to adapt and evolve with your surroundings. Learn to adjust accordingly because after all, life is only a game, question is...what game are YOU playing...?
