We are rebellious in defense of our values, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness on a space rock where these concepts are still novel. At least the lengths we take them to. Heard someone say, "Lord Jesus Christ, please send our savior Donald Trump back to us." It's pretty obvious why this is insane, but here's some history to use as napalm if you ever find yourself cornered by a crazy.

Cannabis use is as old as civilization itself. The public's relationship with weed has shifted over time up and down with the health of the societies institutions. Poor or overbearing governance usually leads to higher social anxiety. Is it possible this is also the trend we see with weed? I did make one little error in the episode. I said WWII started in 1936. It was actually 1939. When you get to that part of the episode just try to put yourself in the shoes of the people of the time.
