Unpacking ROUTINE. Routines are encouraged, right? I solid Morning Routine, Our sleep, diet, exercise, spiritual, financial and more. But in our RoUTines could there be a RUT or two. In this episode we unpack ways to evaluate our routine and ensure we are align our daily routine with goals and intentions. ROUTINE Reassess what's in it open up to changes Unleash the time drags Time only for the good insert what's of value now reset and adjust every so often reassess As we look at establishing new routines that will lead to new habits that can make the ultimate impact drive LIFESTYLE changes, there is a method I call CIA. (Commit, Incremental, Accountable) Finding What, Count On Me Making It There. The How. Come with + energy Own how we use our time Make and keep self promises Make services part of the process Inline with our goals Then see the results Celebrate the Incremental wins. (this means we must use the last two syllables of the word incremental which is "MENTAL" . Pay attention and find joy in little growth moments and something Accountable (find a buddy whether a person, your phone, or your calendar with automated reminders) whatever it takes to hold yourself to the promise of establishing the routine. you got this. Establish and review your routine then make a Resolution a reAL solution by creating a habit (21 days) then KEEP going for 67 days and this new habit becomes part of your lifestyle. What is the EXAMPLE we are setting and where does the light shine? Bruce and Heather unpack their perspective on this topic. Bruce draws on Daniel 6 v 26 where after Daniel refused King Dorius' decree to only worship him and was thrown into the lion's den for his "disobedience". Acting by faith, Daniel did not fear this fate. King Darius rushed to the den after a restless and distraught night only to find Daniel unafraid and unhurt. This caused Darius to reverse his decree and command all to worship Daniel's God, the eternal God. All glory went to God through Daniel's act of faith. So can we set the same kind of example AND ensure that GOD gets the glory? Easy to set ego aside? No. Thank you Daniel for showing us through your faith. What is being VICTORY? The big prize? Winning it all? The trophy and the accolades? Well, if that is the only picture of a "WIN", life can be pretty disappointing, right? What is being reluctant? Why are we reluctant? What causes it? Most importantly what can we do to diminish, overcome it and thrive in our purpose?
