A Discovery of Witches - Season 3, Episode 6Description: There are many things going on concurrently -- the hunt for an errant son, the heist of a very important object in the story, and the extermination of a major pest (to mention a few of the things in this episode). If we say any more it would be spoilers galore. It's jam packed with plot-lines, and we almost wonder what they've left for episode 7?! Stay tuned... A Discovery of Witches - Season 3, Episode 5Description: Here we go! It's about to go down after this episode, because all of the pieces are in place for a grand standoff between the congregation and the Bishop-Clairmonts. Diana recruits Agatha as an ally, the babies have a very public christening, Baldwin reluctantly grants Matthew control of his family by approving the scion, Gerbert is making his moves in order to be head vamp in charge, and Benjamin is on the move, sending signals to Matthew; could that indicate a father/son face-off is imminent? A Discovery of Witches - Season 3, Episode 4Welcome to this "bridge" episode! This episode gives us a glimpse into the search for the pages of Ashmole 782. We watch Sarah, Agatha, Gallowglass, Miriam, Phoebe, and Fernando all offer their varying gifts to help Diana and Matthew get to end game. In the meantime (on the other side of this goal), are Gerbert, Satu, Benjamin and Peter doing their own independent plotting -- their goals are clear: destroy the de Clermonts/conquer Diana/get more power. A Discovery of Witches - Season 3, Episode 2Description: Father Hubbard is given an ultimatum from his sire, Benjamin -- which leads him to desperate measures; go to Matthew to handle this problem, because he is the "break-in-case-of-emergency" option! The problem? Jack Blackfriers. Yes! He's back! He's a vampire (ooooh...). He wanted to stay alive in hopes to meet Diana and Matthew once again (awwww...). He's got blood rage (eeeeek!)Meanwhile, Christopher Roberts and his "annoying" sidekick, Miriam need more data and more researchers. The data exists -- in New Orleans. The researchers are also available; a bunch of Chris's teen-aged students. Will Matthew agree? Will Jack be OK? Will all of this be resolved in time for babies to arrive? Season 3, Episode 1 of A Discovery of WitchesDescription: We open up the beginning of the end of this story with Matthew and Diana's return. A lot has happened since they stepped into the unknown! Emily's death, the birth of Nathanial and Sophie's baby, accusations at the congregation, Marcus has a mate, Peter Knox's exit from the congregation, and (pregnant pause...) the VAMPIRE MURDERS! We find out who Mr. Fuchs actually is, and it seems bloodrage is all the rage once again. What's the answer? A cure for bloodrage, and maybe even a revolution. But revolutions are not just made. They start with an idea somewhere. Enter Gallowglass with a wee little suggestion to the story's revolutionary, Marcus.More:*Email: DaemonsDiscuss@gmail.com*Voice message: http://Speakpipe.com/DaemonsDiscuss, or call us (US number/carrier rates apply): 1 (360) 519-7836*Social Media: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/DaemonsDiscuss Twitter: https://twitter.com/DaemonsDiscuss Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/daemonsdiscuss/*Podcast home page: http://DaemonsDiscuss.com*Main page: http://www.DaemonsDomain.com Hosted on Acast. S2 Bonus "That's a wrap!"That's it for the season until next year, and that's it for us until (on/about) the middle of May! We share our fond memories of covering the 10 episodes of this season, along with what we loved, and parts that, in our opinions, maybe fell a little short. Overall, this season -- for us -- did just what it was supposed to as far as bringing our favorite book of the series to the television screen! All gripes should be taken with a grain of salt, and a healthy dose of laughter! Life is short. S2E10Jean calls this episode a prologue to Season 3, and it is, but it does manage to tie up Season 2 sufficiently enough for us. We say goodbye to Goody, the coven, Susanna, Father Hubbard, Pierre, Françoise, Jack (!), and Gallowglass in 1591. AND there is the "Hello/Goodbye" to Diana's Dad, Stephen Proctor!Meanwhile, we are getting a glimpse of what the couple will be greeted with when they return to their modern lives - Ysabeau, Marcus, Miriam, Sarah, Emily, Nathaniel, Sophie, Agatha, and Phoebe examine the problems they are facing, and ponder possible solutions going forward. Gerbert and Domenico are fighting for their own power in destructive ways. Peter (we have a few choice words to say about him) is planning a solo raid on Sept-Tours. Satu -- well, she offered her help. It's not her fault that Peter is too stubborn to accept it! Come to the good side, Satu! And then there is Herr Fuchs ... aka Benjamin (!!!)This episode runs long because we had a lot to discuss in the Spoiler Zone. Those of you who enter it, you'll understand why! Thanks to all of our NEW Patrons for sponsoring this episode, and to all, please enjoy.Full show notes: http://go.DaemonsDiscuss.com/S2E10Informational links:Season 2 Shout Out! -- tell us your thoughts on this episode, the actors, the sets, or the series as a whole! S2E9Where shall we begin? Let's start at the end: Heart vein! Kit and Louisa's botched revenge! Queen Elizabeth I! Walter Raleigh shows himself to be useless! A house raid! Meeting a weaver's familiar! William Cecil (Lord Burghley) is an an a$$hole! Kit tests Matthew's patience! A baby?!! Is Goody is on death's door?! Matthew puts his foot down! Ashmole 782! Needless to say, many events occurred in this episode, and putting a neat synopsis together was a little hard this time around. No worries, we break it down further in The Spoiler Zone (for those who don't care about book spoilers), as this TV episode diverges from the book quite a bit! Thanks to Aimee Sund for sponsoring this episode, and to all, please enjoy.Full show notes: http://go.DaemonsDiscuss.com/S2E9Informational links:Season 2 Shout Out! -- tell us your thoughts on this episode, the actors, the sets, or the series as a whole! Here's how one of the show creators explains their reasoning:Jeff Greenstein: "When Marta & David & Jeff & I did 'Dream On', we used to spend a lot of time thinking about titles, because they were on-screen at the top of each episode. On "Friends", we decided that was a waste of time. We figured, why not name each episode after the thing that people will ostensibly be talking about around the water-cooler the next day?"
