Wild women, we cover it all during this one hour interview. We leave no hole left unturned as we discuss the importance of the Pelvic floor, its role in our overall health, and how to know if you may need to seek support. Note: I do my best to ask questions from the perspective of someone who has never heard of the pelvic floor, so while some questions may seem obvious, I wanted to ensure we made no assumptions about people’s understanding or awareness. Remember, this s**t ain’t taught in school!
Note #2: We discuss this part of the anatomy as it relates to Yoga, because full diaphragmatic breathing of course is integral to the practice, and uses these muscles whether we are aware of this or not. Everything is so intricately connected! While "in life" or at the gym etc... we exhale on "exertion", and it tends to be the same in Yoga, although we tend not to think of yoga as exertion, nor are the movements as mechanical or linear, you will hear in our chat what seems like the opposite at one point. This is because as it relates to the nervous system, we are always seeking both effort and ease in the breath, whether on the inhale or exhale. This will make more sense once you listen in! xo
Listen in to my chat with coach, mom and boss babe Karen Sterling, as we discuss key strategies for making mealtimes less stressful and way more fun.
A 10-minute body scan practice to help you relieve emotional stress, and move from your head to your body.

Yoga may be an ancient practice but its messages and teachings are timeless. If you experience challenges with allowing, resting and witnessing, as your efforts take shape, have a listen xo
The breath can send a message to the nervous that it is time to panic, fight, freeze or flee, or it can send the message that it is safe to relax. When you learn how to use it, it can change your whole life.
A simple and brief breathing meditation that can be practiced anywhere.
In the midst of this very trying time I called my friend Sheryl asking for advice. As a black woman I thought she could offer some wisdom for what was causing me angst. What she invited me to do was to take ownership of my stuff. And so I did, and will continue to. I am so grateful she agreed to be my first official podcast guest. Have a listen. xo. In love and light.
An introduction to the 5 Love Languages. A conversation with Katie Seriani Bowell.
This is a juicy one! Chanci and I discuss self-love, forgiveness and compassion. And everything in between including our bitch brain! Tune in.

Thought as a way to connect both to ourselves and other listeners out there would be with an invitation for all of us to recognize our shadow and light; so that we may truly begin to release our inner wild. We are all a beauty combo of both. There is no perfect way to be. Only to be willing to see it all. xo
This brief introduction gives some insight into the name Release Your Inner Wild and how it came to be.
