What is Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT) and what makes it different from traditional therapies?  In this week's episode, I have a conversation with the founder Rapid Resolution Therapy, Dr. Jon Connelly. I have been training with Dr. Connelly for more than a year now and have received several sessions myself, and experienced how incredibly revolutionary and life changing RRT is. This is a big episode. Because during the episode, Dr Connelly ends up giving me a real RRT session on some heavy resentment I had been feeling in my relationship. And you'll see the shifts happen as they do. This session was actually a big reason that I was able to see clearly what needed to be done in my relationship. Two weeks after this recording, the relationship actually ended, with lots of peace and calm. And no feelings of resentment actually. And I really attribute that to what you are about to hear. May this be truly helpful for your own clearing of the stuckness in your own relationships. And let me know what you take from this episode. 00:24 Personal Experiences with Rapid Resolution Therapy 01:08 Understanding the Uniqueness of Rapid Resolution Therapy 03:57 The Difference between Rapid Resolution Therapy and Other Therapies 05:41 The Impact of Rapid Resolution Therapy on Personal Trauma 10:04 The Misconception of 'Feeling Bad to Feel Good' 12:48 The Role of Positive Thinking in Rapid Resolution Therapy 18:32 Addressing Relationship Issues with Rapid Resolution Therapy 26:52 Understanding the Source of Emotional Pain in Relationships 30:44 Understanding Emotional Responses and Exploring Personal Trauma 33:37 The Struggle of Blame in Relationships 43:49 The Role of Resentment in Healing 49:37 The Power of Femininity and Influence 55:53 Exploring Opportunities with Rapid Resolution Therapy Jon Connelly first founded the Institute for Survivors of Sexual Violence, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization engaged in research and development of cutting-edge treatment for survivors of trauma.  His early career experiences as a child protective service worker and clinical supervisor in a program for traumatized teens helped shape the creation of Rapid Resolution Therapy.  Jon is the author of Life Changing Conversations with Rapid Resolution Therapy, a book demonstrating that a single conversation can dramatically improve one’s life.  He recently published another book, Grief is Not Sacred, demonstrating how grief can be resolved in a single meeting.  He also developed innovative training programs designed to teach Rapid Resolution Therapy to people looking to relieve suffering.  Doctors, dentists, mental health professionals, teachers, coaches, nutritionists, lawyers, caregivers, nurses, business owners and others have become Rapid Resolution Therapy members with the intention to learn and apply the fundamentals of Rapid Resolution Therapy to themselves and their field.   If you want to know more about RRT, head over to: https://www.rapidresolutiontherapy.com/ For more on Sophie Josephina, check out her work on instagram @sophie.josephina or www.sophiejosephina.com
