Hi friends, in today's episode, join me as I break down some of the essential concepts and characteristics of resilience. There are some basics, and using economic principles as a guide, that allows me to build your context of what it means to be resilient. As always, don't hesitate to contact me if needed at msc.deliverables@gmail.com  May the blessings outweigh the burdens! Chaplain Eric Bryan
In today's episode, I am discussing the range that one should allow their resilience to work for them and when to get help. There are some things that building your personal resilience is good for and some areas in life when you need an outside resource like a chaplain.  Please don't hesitate to contact me at msc.deliverables@gmail.com if you need my support!  Thanks, Chaps
Today's episode focuses on reinforcements. Houses and building use rebar, a twisted steel filled with concrete and plaster that builds a structure. This structure weathers storms and elements of many kinds. What reinforces you? What develops your resilience?  Any comments or questions, email me at msc.deliverables@gmail.com    Thanks, Chaps!
Hi friends, Today's continuance resilience-building discussion centers on emptying your pockets, such as you would at an airport security screening, but for the mind and heart. Now may be the best time to conduct some internal spring cleaning mentally, emotionally, or spiritually and one way to do that is focusing on our ability to maintain personal resilience.
CMC Rick Dyksterhouse recently interviewed Adam, a licensed Chief Engineer ConMar, who sailed with MSC and commercially for many years. The episode presents mariner life challenges aboard ships dealing with the same people and the same job day after day.  It also provides tools that individuals can utilize to lower stress and build resilience - controlling what you can control, build a routine, choosing to have a positive attitude, taking care of yourself, and creating community.
As the journal ends, the journey to a resilient self is just getting started. Keep striving towards your best self and stay tuned for more conversation on resilience in the near future!
Connecting with your resilient self has deep connections to being fulfilled.
What happens when fear (worry, anxiety) no longer controls your response to life happening around you?
How do you know when you've connected with someone? What behaviors can you identify in doing so?
Resilient people influence others. Will your influence be used for good?
Working through, not avoiding our emotions is key to our improvement.
Being resilient means being aware and present today, not lost with regret in the past or anxious about the future.
Today we explore how connecting with a purpose contributes to being resilient.
Resilience doesn't happen without growth. Our growth requires learning how to engage in every situation while paying attention to our reactions.
Today's episode focuses on decision-making skills. Using your past and certain decisions made, how well would you rate yourself on your ability to make good decisions and what are some areas to improve upon? Again, always feel free to contact me should you care to talk about the content and your thought processes about it.
Deliverables Journey Day 3 overviews the concept of being trustworthy and how that affects your ability to be resilient.
This episode briefly covers the concept of your best self. Do we know what we value, believe, or have as moral guiding our behavior?
Personal Resilience Journal Day 1 - Beginning. This is a transformation, not a transaction. It is the beginning of a 14-day journey, but understand it doesn't end there.
