Be kind to your mind. That’s the public service announcement from the WHO. It’s the start of another month of 2020 and the pandemic is far from over. So we thought it'll be good to replay our episode with Alice Yu, titled 'Like mother, like design' where she tells us how she used art and creativity to deal with her postpartum depression, and how she mobilized a community of mothers who can embrace the arts with Mama on Palette. For people with disabilities, consumer sovereignty is a myth. When a new product enters the market, people with disabilities have to figure out how they can get in sync with it rather than the other way around. In today's episode, we spoke to Ken Chua, founder of (these)abilities, an inclusion-focused design agency, and a social entrepreneur listed on the Forbes Asia 30 under 30 list of 2019. He tells us that this is a design problem. A Singapore University of Technology and Design alumnus, he speaks to Nisha about how he uses engineering and design principles to create technologies and systems that promote inclusive innovation.
