Dr. G is a board-certified attending family physician and has identified the number one thing that leads to the best health and life outcomes for our kids: resilience. She works with parents to teach them the mindset and strategies to transform stress into a tool that builds mental health, confidence, and (most importantly) resilience in their kids. You might recognize Dr. G from the TODAY show, Good Morning America, and many other news programs. She is also a co-host and resident Resilience Expert for The Doctors, created and delivered two TEDx talks on the topics of stress and resilience and is frequently featured in the Washington Post, The New York Times, Forbes Magazine, Consumer Reports, and others. Needless to say, she knows this topic inside out.  Today on the Divorced and Determined show, we are talking about healthy parenting with or without the other party involved.  What can you do to better your children's lives and your life during and after divorce? What are the warning signs to be aware of? How can we be equipped to handle our children individually? --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/kindra-renee/message

He represents the 43rd District, which consists of Preble County and a portion of Montgomery County. His top 3 initiatives while in office include agricultural gains, workforce development, and parenting equality. About 55% of Americans end up divorced, and the majority of them have children, according to Rep. Creech. "There's a lot of parents that want to help raise their kids and the other parent won't let them," he added. Rep. Creech said he has already begun to meet with stakeholders to discuss the issue. He believes it is one that will garner bipartisan support. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/kindra-renee/message
Antwone is the definition of a resilient warrior.  He has experienced the heights of success as a hip-hop artist working with recording stars Kanye West and Erick Sermon as well as Chicago producer Terry Hunter.  One of his greatest feats, though, was beating breast cancer in 2014. But five years later, the cancer came back. However, this time Antwone decided against chemotherapy or radiation, he seeks alternative treatments instead. In addition, Mr. Young has been influencing the lives of young children, not only his daughter, but the students at a Chicago high school. Male breast cancer is very rare. Less than 1% of all breast cancer cases develop in men, and only 1 in a 1,000 men will ever be diagnosed with breast cancer, according to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. His book, “Cancer Saved My Life: A Killer Became a Hero,” will be released later in October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/kindra-renee/message
