Daniel #9 Let us continue from Daniel 3:29-30 (KJV) 29 Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort. 30 Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, in the province of Babylon. Nebuchadnezzar was a king who served other gods, not the God of Israel. But if you speak against their god, you will be severely punished. This is because there is no other god who can save you from the fiery pit. In other words, the pagan gods they believe in cannot do that. But ironically they still believe in them. Nebuchadnezzar recognized that the God the Jews worship is the mightiest. Better than many religious people today. That is why God appointed Nebuchadnezzar in his generation as a king to rule over the entire world. God just used him as a servant. He chose Nebuchadnezzar to rule and chastise the Jews. God also uses the devil as a servant because the time has not yet come. Satan’s been judged, but he’s still serving God even today. However, while Nebuchadnezzar said this, he did not acknowledge the God of Israel was the true God and that the other gods were counterfeits. Obviously, Nebuchadnezzar praises the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, but he has no will to serve Him. Many people come to church and praise Jesus Christ and glorify the Heavenly Father, yet have no desire to serve Him. That is an unbeliever serving another God, another Jesus. If you truly believe that God manifested in flesh, Jesus Christ, is the One and only who can save you from death and deliver you from hell, then you can serve Him. Serving God means being able to go out with gratitude no matter what circumstances He allows. Unfortunately, people today worship other gods. Another Jesus conjured up from within their own hearts who only blesses them via another gospel. Pastors serve Jesus who only revives their churches. Nebuchadnezzar knelt down and bowed down to Daniel and gave him many gifts, a simple gesture which was better than today’s Christians. Nebuchadnezzar acknowledged God as another god, but not as THE absolute Almighty Creator. There is no other god who can rescue them like this. He did lay down a decree to never speak against God. This just shows that God of Israel is the greatest, does it not? And yet the king himself did not turn from serving his pagan gods. Korean ministers who did not worship at Shinto shrines during the Japanese colonial era truly believed in Jesus Christ. The faithful few who lived according to the words our Lord asked Martha even if it meant their death; John 11:25-26 (KJV) 25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? Do you really believe in these words Martha? When she acknowledged, he called and resurrected Lazarus. Why don’t Christians today experience God’s saving power in their lives? Why can’t we experience God who saves us not only from hell, but also from death and hardship in life? It’s because we don’t trust Him. God has led you to such a place and want you to experience how will lead you from there. But people just don’t want to. When there is trouble, it is just resentment and anger. Apostle Paul said: Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. (2 Corinthians 12:10 KJV) When he was thankful, God saved him because Paul fully trusted in the Lord. Many typically fear over physical, carnal issues, not believing in the scripture though he were dead, yet shall he live and yet claim to be a Christian. Such times we are living. Think about it for a second. Babylon is where everybody serves many other pagan gods, except for Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. These are a model of the Jewish remnant during the Great Tribulation, and at the same time a model of the true Christians remaining in the end times. Since the majority today is not like this, it is just a religious act to worship on Sunday. There is not much difference between modern day Christians and the people of the world once they go outside the church. There is one thing that Nebuchadnezzar clearly gets wrong here. He didn’t understand the greatest proof that makes God THE God. A God must have the ability to save. Salvation from death and hell. Fast forward to (Daniel 6:27 KJV) He delivereth and rescueth, and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions. This is what Darius says when Daniel comes out of the lions’ den. Darius, Cyrus and Nebuchadnezzar are much better people than those who claim to be Christian presidents. A true God delivers and rescues. (Psalm 50:15 KJV) says: And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me. Glorifying God is not done by dressed in expensive luxury goods and singing hallelujah only when all is well and everyone in my family are in good health. What glorifies God is when I rely on the Lord in the midst of difficulties, trusting Him completely and believing in God who saves me from the mouth of the lion and the mouth of the devil in the midst of death, ultimately experiencing Him saving me as I am grateful to the end. This is what glorifies God. If God puts people into some stressful events to gain a little glory from them, they can’t or won’t withstand it and fall into temptation being deceived. Then you can’t experience God. We must experience God who saves us from distresses, trials, and persecutions now, while we are living on this earth. Only then can we overcome the various trials that are thrown at us. If we believe that Jesus Christ, the Creator and God we believe in, is the only true God, then we must believe that He can save us from all suffering, pain, sin, and hell. If not, He is of no use. For those who go to church, including us, Are you really happy when you say that you go to church? Second question, are you sure that your sins are forgiven? Third, are you sure you won’t go to hell if you die today? If you cannot answer “YES” to these questions, that is proof that you are not yet saved. It’s simple. In other words, all of us are already dead. Since the body is dead and when you accept Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit comes in only when your sins are forgiven, and the Spirit of Jesus, who is God, is the Spirit of Prophecy. And anyone who does so can see their future clearly. Today, people do not receive the true Spirit of prophecy, but rather receive another spirit and they like to receive prophecies about how well their business and children will do in the future. The real prophecy is that when I am forgiven, the Spirit of God comes in, otherwise you’ll die. “I’m 100% sure I’m not going to hell. I’m going to meet the Lord when He returns.” If you have this certainty, you have received the Spirit of prophecy, the Holy Spirit. Otherwise, people who go to church to solve the problems of the corruptible world while still serving other gods. It’s a pity how churches across the world are filled with these sort of people. That’s why we all need to examine ourselves. Is the God I really believe in Jesus Christ or some other god? Is Jesus Christ, the God I believe in, really the God who can deliver me from death, hell, and all suffering? Do I really believe in Him? Happy is he who believes in him. People who are doing well on earth are rather unfortunate. Truly happy are those who have experienced God’s hand of deliverance at unthinkable moments. When we call on the Lord, he hears us and saves us no matter how difficult our situations may be. That’s when the Lord is glorified. The Lord received glory through Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. If they hadn’t been thrown into the lions’ den or the fiery furnace, they wouldn’t have experienced deliverance. When the three men went into the furnace, another man appeared and Nebuchadnezzar said, the form of the fourth is like the Son of God. (Daniel 3:25 KJV) But the NIV or other Revised Bible translations say a son of the gods. Not only the translators did not recognize Jesus Christ, but they do not believe in Him either. Rather, Nebuchadnezzar said: like the Son of God, with capital letters S& G while theologians and perverted Bible translators believed it to be a son of the gods. Unregenerate theologians altered the Bible because that was a son of the many gods they worshipped. What happens when pastors learn from and teach such a Bible? The problem of serving and worshiping other gods arises in the church. The apostle Paul served the true God, Jesus Christ who he constantly testified, which upset many during that time, labeling him as a heretic and imprisoning him. The reason being: many testified about Christ, but they also preached other gods as well in those days. The apostle Paul said, he rejoice that Christ is preached, whether for good or evil. Even if He is preached with evil intent, when the Holy Spirit works, He works as the true Christ for them, as it is recorded in the Bible through Nebuchadnezzar that God of Israel is the One and only Almighty God. Nebuchadnezzar probably did not know that his words were recorded in the Bible sin he has been long dead. Continuing with (Daniel 4:1-3 KJV) ¶ Nebuchadnezzar the king, unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you. I thought it good to shew the signs and wonders that the high God hath wrought toward me. How great are his signs! and how mighty are his wonders! his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion is from generation to generation. The time of the Gentiles began with Nebuchadnezzar’s Babylon. A
8-6-2023 Sunday Sermon Message Meditations of the Week: Psalm 91:1-16 Text: Daniel 2:31-45 Word title: Cataclysmic Events in the World After the Rapture preceding the Millennium God showed a frightening dream to King Nebuchadnezzar, who ruled over the entire world in the Babylonian Empire, and had him interpret it with the help of the prophet Daniel. God foretold the rise and fall of many kingdoms that would arise from the Babylonian empire, where the time of the Gentiles began. Not only that, but at the end of the Great Tribulation, Jesus will return and judge everyone in the world who has not believed in Him. After judging the Antichrist and the false prophet by throwing them into the lake of fire. After winning the Battle of Armageddon. By establishing His everlasting kingdom on earth according to the disciples’ prayer taught by the Lord Jesus Christ, Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. (Matthew 6:10 KJV) to accomplish the full dispensation of God’s will, God is finally glorified through the prophecies spoken by Daniel and the vision given to the apostle John. God began the time of the Gentiles by raising up the Babylonian Empire to discipline and restore the Israelites by refining them, and successively raised up the Medo-Persia, Greece, and the Roman Empire. Also, the Roman Empire was further divided into East and West Rome, and in the end, the whole world was divided into ten kingdoms, where the ten kings give all their power and authority to the Antichrist, thereby showing the end of the whole world ruled by Satan. The prophet Daniel prophesied to Nebuchadnezzar when he saw the fall of the last world empires and the fulfillment of the Millennial Kingdom, which is the Kingdom of Heaven preached by John the Baptist and Jesus, taking place on earth with the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ: And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure. (Daniel 2:44-45 KJV) Suddenly a stone appeared. The stone struck the image on its feet and on its ten toes, smashing it to pieces. But the stone was not hewn out by human hands. The Apostle Peter testified of this stone: ¶ To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. (1 Peter 2:4-5 KJV) The Lord Jesus Christ is a living stone. As a living stone, He becomes the Head of the Church, and the members of the Church become lively stones, reborn by the Holy Spirit and united with the Lord to become holy priests. Concerning the stone, the apostle Peter continues with his testimony: Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed. (1 Peter 2:6-8 KJV) Those who believe in this stone and receive life will become as lively stones, but those who do not believe in this stone, Jesus Christ, will stumble. Who was offended? They were the Pharisees, Sadducees, and scribes at the time of Jesus. But where did the stone strike? It didn’t strike the head of the image, but the feet. Striking down the ten kingdoms, the ten toes, that came after the Roman Empire. This is the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ on earth. This is not the rapture, but the physical appearance of the Lord at the end of the seven years of tribulation after the rapture. When the Antichrist reigns after being given all power and authority by the kings, Christ, the living stone, judges the Antichrist and the false prophet by throwing them both into the lake of fire. The apostle John prophesied this: ¶ And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. (Revelation 13:1 KJV) And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. (Revelation 19:20 KJV) The Apostle John witnessed the scene of the Lord, who is the living stone, opening the windows of heaven and returning with the lively stones, His bride, the Church. This is the book of Revelation fulfilling what was prophesied in the book of Daniel: ¶ And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. (Revelation 19:11-16 KJV) The prophet Daniel foretold what would happen when the Lord Jesus Christ returns to judge the world and establish His Millennial Kingdom: Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces. Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth. (Daniel 2:34-35 KJV) Jesus spoke through John the Baptist at His First Coming that He would become a living stone and fulfill the words prophesied through the prophet Daniel at His second coming: Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire. (Matthew 3:12 KJV) At the Second Advent, the remnant, i.e., those who believe in the Lord, will become the wheat grains, as the kingdoms of gold, silver, brass, iron, and clay of this world will turn all to chaff and disappear without a trace. David prophesied of this: For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. (Psalm 37:10 KJV) Even in the days of Noah, after the flood, there was no one left on earth except his family, and everyone died. Noah’s family took possession of the whole world. Likewise, we can know from the Bible that after the Lord returns and judges the nations of the world, God’s children, His people, and the repentant Gentiles will take possession of the heavens and the earth. Likewise, in an empty world, The lively stones that were raptured and came down with the Lord, that is, the Church saints, along with the surviving Jewish remnants and numerous Gentiles who believed in Jesus and kept the commandments during the Great Tribulation, wearing white garments washed in the blood of the Lamb, will form the great mountain (Rev 7:9-17). The kingdoms of the world will become the kingdoms of Christ when the seventh angel blows his trumpet: And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. (Revelation 11:15 KJV) The Lord Jesus Christ will not only reign over the world for a Millennium, but forever. And this is when David will again rule over Israel (Ezekiel 37:24-25). Also, the born-again brides of Christ who came down to earth with the Lord after the raptured will become rulers over ten or five cities in all the Gentile kingdoms, according to the pounds they gained. The prophet Zechariah prophesied the establishment of the kingdom after the Lord Jesus Christ’s defeat of the Antichrist’s army at the battle of Armageddon: Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. (Zechariah 14:3-4 KJV) and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee. (Zechariah 14: 5b KJV) And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one. (Zechariah 14:9 KJV) Finally, the enemy devil, who has brought sin and death t
Daniel #8 (Daniel 3:16-25 KJV) Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. ¶ Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated. And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace. Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. Therefore because the king’s commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego. And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellers, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God. This is the image of the born-again children of God. The born-again children of God do not fear death. This is a great testimony. They spoke with an authoritative voice, confident, unexcited, calm, yet fearless. This is because God is with them. Christians must bear this witness. Not a testimony of “I worked hard and God gave me a lot of money,” but rather a testimony of God’s power before people. When Nebuchadnezzar asked, “Who is the God that will save you?” These guys were bold before the king! Nebuchadnezzar was a mighty king of his time. How dare they speak like this in front of him? God allowed the reign of Nebuchadnezzar, but he was too proud and arrogant, which later caused his great downfall. They didn’t hesitate but responded immediately but boldly proclaimed, “Even if you throws us in the furnace, God can save us. Regardless O king, we will not serve your gods.” We Christians, whether you live or die, just have to obey the word of God. Even when we pray for the sick, we just have to pray and leave it to God to heal them. There’s nothing to be disappointed because of God did not heal them, and there’s nothing to be proud of God’s healing powers. It is all up to God. People tend to believe God doesn’t have the ability when their prayers aren’t answered immediately. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego did not doubt God’s ability, whether God could deliver them or not. This is the attitude of those who rejoice in God. That is why people lose their faith and become afraid when something doesn’t go the way thought of after the prayer. It may seem the world is ridiculing them. But it doesn’t matter. God will take care of everything if you simply obey His words. If we pray according to God’s will, it doesn’t matter whether it comes true or not. It doesn’t matter if it happens right away, a month, or 10 years later. Pastor Song has been trying to lead people with the Word of God during his ministry, and some words took 20 years to be fulfilled. Therefore, if you hold on to the Word and pray, it will surely come true. Likewise, praying for salvation of our non-believing family members will definitely come true. It’s not because God doesn’t have the ability. When we pray, God does it in God’s time and in God’s way, never in our own way or our methods. Just as (Acts 16:31 KJV) says: Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. It will definitely come true, so we just have to pray for it. We must always pray according to the scripture, not of my own will. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego did not doubt the power of God. But if not doesn’t mean God can save even if He has no ability. God has this ability. The question is, will God send them to heaven at that time, or will He save them from the furnace? It depends on God’s will. He told us to pray according to God’s will and not to doubt. Getting these men out of the furnace is not a matter of God’s ability, but of God’s will. If there is a problem for us Christians, it has nothing to do with God’s power. It’s not that God can’t solve our problems because He doesn’t have the ability to do so. But Satan tempts us. I prayed like this, but God didn’t hear me. Satan whispers deception into us. Just like in the Garden of Eden, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? (Genesis 3:1 KJV) Didn’t God say He answers all prayers? Satan always deceives and discourages those who pray according to the Word. This is why Christians today are tempted and led astray. There is nothing wrong with God’s abilities. However all we need to remember is if that is God’s will, then that’s all we need to know. And even if it’s not a good outcome, even if our prayers are not answered, if it’s God’s will, then we just have to obey. In every thing give thanks: (1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJV) We don’t have to worry about the results when we pray. That’s all up to God to decide. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego decided not to commit the sin of bowing down to the golden image. Holding onto God’s word not to worship idols, they simply obeyed, believing God will take care of the rest. After all, people are appointed to die once. What is important is the judgment afterwards. The judgment is more important than death. That’s why people with this kind of faith have nothing to fear. There shouldn’t even be a discussion of about whether or not to visit the Shinto shrine during the Japanese colonial period in Korea. Every pastors and minister did it, as there were only a few, including Pastor Joo Ki-cheol, who was against it and did not visit the shrine or bow down. It’s the same today. Tolerance. It’s okay to bow your heads as long as we don’t acknowledge with our hearts. Even with the Japanese police threats and torture, Pastor Joo resisted. Since that didn’t work they tried to convince him not to bow down but simply meditate in the car as they passed by the shrine. This is how Satan deceives. Pastor Joo Ki-cheol did not do that either. If you are deceived like that once, you won’t realize it right then, but you will experience great agony later down the road. Here, the young prisoners speak boldly in front of Nebuchadnezzar, the king of kings of that time. They didn’t beg for mercy. Rather said bluntly, We won’t. Even if you throw us into the fiery furnace. This caused Nebuchadnezzar to become furious, and the form of his visage changed. His facial expression changed by someone insignificant defying his orders. The fiery furnace was so hot, the people who threw these guys were killed by the flames. Usually when people were thrown into the furnace, they were stripped off of their clothes and hats. But the king was so angry, he threw them into the furnace fully clothed. Anyone tossed into that furnace burned up instantly. Even iron ore melted instantaneously. Human flesh and bones are no big deal. Normally, people would raise all sorts of ruckus before execution, but these guys just went in quietly. Historically speaking, many Christian martyrs were set on fire alive on pyre during the Middle Ages. Realizing their martyrdom was for the Lord, these folks just laughed even they were turning into a pile of ash. Unfortunately, many people who go to church in our modern times are unlike Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego or Daniel. But if you have the Holy Spirit, you can do it. We can never do it on our own. But because the Holy Spirit gives power at the right time, the apostle Paul said, I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. (Philippians 4:13 KJV) Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. (2 Corinthians 12:10 KJV) Real born again Christians normally look weak. But when the time comes, with persecution they become stronger. Like the underground church members hidden in North Korea. Imagine how surprised Nebuchadnezzar must have been. Three people were bound inside the furnace, but they were all freely roaming around with another person with them. Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God. Many Revised Bibles say, like a son of a god or son of the gods. Jesus walked there with them. In the eyes of the theologians, He was the son of the gods, but Nebuchadnezzar said He was the Son of God. Theologians just could not fathom that the Son of God go in there. So they corrected the Bible to the son of the gods with lower case s and g. Unbelievable. They altered the words of the Bible. It is written as the Son of God in the King James Bible with the definite article with capital S and G. The is definite article referring to something specific. A is an indefinite article. Like one of the gods. A son of God. Bible like the NIV altered the words Son and God to lower case. Modern theologians are worse than Nebuchadnezzar. Nebuchadnezzar did not believe in God, but he at least acknowledged God and worshipped Him. He even worshiped Daniel, the man of God. When theologians didn’t understand something in the Bible, they altered it as they pleased. In the Old Testament, there are cases where angels are called sons of God. Then it’s lower case. But when the angel refers to Jesus Christ, it is capitalized. (Galatians 4:14 KJV) And my
7-30-2023 Sunday Sermon Message Meditations of the Week: Psalm 91:1-16 Text: Revelation 6:1-17 Word title: What Happens on Earth During the Great Tribulation Following the Rapture The Holy Spirit prophesied through the apostle Paul about the times and seasons of the coming day of Christ, when Jesus Christ would appear in the air: ¶ Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; (2 Thessalonians 2:3 KJV) The Holy Spirit said He would take John to the future day of Christ and show him what would happen then and thereafter: ¶ After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. (Revelation 4:1 KJV) The apostle John witnessed the appearance of the Antichrist when Jesus Christ the Lamb opened one of the seven seals: And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. (Revelation 6:2 KJV) After the appearance of the Antichrist, the apostle John witnessed what will follow as Christ continues to open the second through the fourth seals, as peace is removed from the earth by war, then severe famine on a global scale, followed by death and hell killing many. ¶ And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword. And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth. (Revelation 6:3-8 KJV) Then, when the Lamb opened the fifth seal, he saw the souls of the slain: ¶ And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. (Revelation 6:9-11 KJV) This scene foreshadows what will happen in the last three and a half years of the Great Tribulation. At this time, the Antichrist, the beast rising out of the sea, and the false prophet coming up out of the earth kill all the saints because of the Word of God and the testimony they have, and the apostle John testified of what would happen during that time: ¶ And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. (Revelation 13:1 KJV) And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? (Revelation 13:4 KJV) And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. (Revelation 13:5 KJV) ¶ And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. (Revelation 13:11-15 KJV) The apostle John also testified how the ten crowned kings in the coming Great Tribulation would all surrender their authority and power to the beast, the Antichrist: And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. (Revelation 17:12-13 KJV) Furthermore, the false prophet will starve everyone to death by forbidding them to buy or sell unless they receive a mark in their right hand or forehead: And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. (Revelation 13:16-18 KJV) Prophetic words spoken through Daniel that King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon had made a golden image and commanded that anyone who would not bow down to it be thrown into the furnace and put to death, was a foreshadowing of what the Antichrist would do in the future: Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the princes, the governors, and the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellers, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up. (Daniel 3:2 KJV) Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages, That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up: And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. (Daniel 3:4-6 KJV) Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar commanded that the golden image which he had set up should be sixty cubits high and six cubits wide, and that anyone who would not bow down while six musical instruments were blown should be put to death. This foreshadows the mark 666 of the Antichrist, who will not let anyone buy or sell. The Prophet Daniel prophesied of what would happen when the Antichrist would appear: Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. (Daniel 7:23-25 KJV) And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. (Daniel 9:27 KJV) God’s judgment will finally be poured out on the whole world when the sixth seal is opened after the Antichrist’s ruthless actions at the opening of the fifth seal: And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? (Revelation 6:12-17 KJV) After the plagues of the seals, more severe plagues will be poured out on earth as the angels continue to blow their trumpets: ¶ The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up. And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were
Daniel #7 (Daniel 3:4-12 KJV) Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages, That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up: And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of musick, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down and worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up. ¶ Wherefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and accused the Jews. They spake and said to the king Nebuchadnezzar, O king, live for ever. Thou, O king, hast made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, shall fall down and worship the golden image: And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth, that he should be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. All the people, the nations, and the languages. We know that King Nebuchadnezzar ruled over all the earth at that time. What a mighty king he must have been. This is foreshadowing of the coming Antichrist who is to rule the whole world and cause the everyone to worship his idol creation. Therefore, we must know that the Old Testament is not only a shadow of what is to come, but also a prophecy at the same time. During the Great Tribulation, everyone who does not worship the image of the Antichrist will be beheaded. No one is exempt. Here we see the instruments playing. Music. Music has been used as a universal language since ancient times. Especially in the last days, it says here that music will be the language of all nations. Look at how people around the world are going crazy even with the Korean language based music these days, which they don’t even understand. This is because Satan is working behind the music. It’s okay even if you don’t understand the lyrics because it stimulates emotions. That is why worship and praise can mislead to praising the devil instead of God even in the church today. Instead of singing hymns, modern apostate churches tend to just show more music videos. People watch the video more than they praise the Lord. They believe to receive grace from such videos. Satan was once the choirmaster of the angels in heaven, he was cast down to earth and is currently residing in the air, but in the future, when such a great orchestra plays, the Antichrist might tell the remaining people of the world to worship his image. Remember: that modern music has practically become a tool for worshiping the devil. We can know that in modern music it is used as a means of communication and as a medium of delivery. For how many years has K-pop taken control of the world? It makes no sense. It’s the work of Satan. We realize this, but most people don’t. Satan uses many music genres to deceive all sorts of people. Just about anywhere especially here in the States, you’ll hear loud beats with earth-shattering bass coming from cars and trucks. Satan works a lot behind the sound of beating drums. Many shamans beat the drums. African natives also dancer to the drum beats. The sound of drums stimulates people’s emotions and prevents them from seeing the glory of God. That’s why people today not only like to listen to music, but also like to watch videos while listening to music. It’s not fun when there’s only music these days. It was good times just listening to classical music through transistor radios back in the day, but these days people can’t be satisfied with just listening to music. Everyone desires to see something with their eyes. And Satan utilizes that to deceive people through various images. Just by looking at this, we can see that we are living in the end of the last days. (Daniel 3:6 KJV) And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. The burning fiery furnace is a model of hell. Those who do not worship the image of the Antichrist will be immediately beheaded during the coming Great Tribulation period. In the seventh verse, six instruments are used to make sounds, which is like a symphony orchestra in modern terms. When these are played in the future, everyone will bow down and worship the image of the Antichrist in unison. Back then, all the nations could have gathered together on foot since they weren’t occupying every corner of the planet. Regardless of where they lived, all had to come before the image. How will the Antichrist gather everyone in the future? Through the Internet. Once the Music plays through the screens on TV’s smartphones, tablets or digital billboards across the world throughout villages, towns, and cities, the Antichrist will cause all to worship the image. Once the worship begins, you may have to drop whatever you’re doing, come out and bow down before the video imagery or perhaps even a hologram that appears on the screen. That is why the Internet was developed. But we Christians can do the work of spreading the Word of God all over the world through that same Internet. We utilize the things of the world for a while and then we leave. What a blessing to live in such times to witness such events of the Great Tribulation will surely happen. Therefore, you must be saved now. You must be born again today. Now and Today is the time to receive grace and salvation. Not quite sure how many times a day they worship during the Tribulation. Take a look at Muslims. For example in the Movie Black hawk Down, even during an intense firefight, whenever it was time for them to pray and worship, they face Mecca and dropped to their knees on the spot. Quite shocking and eerie at the same time. Perhaps it will be like this even during the Great Tribulation, maybe several times a day. This will probably be your daily routine. Otherwise, you will be killed. Those who do not bow down to the Antichrist will be beheaded, but will not go to hell. Those who bow down will go to hell. Such are the days that are unfolding before us. (Daniel 3:8 KJV) ¶ Wherefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and accused the Jews. Babylonians accuse the Jews. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego do not bow down, so they criticize, and persecute. Let’s look at Revelation 12. The same thing happens during the Great Tribulation. The people of Babylon the Great persecute the Jews. (Revelation 12:5-6 KJV) And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. This is Jesus Christ, who was born on this earth, finished his work, ascended to heaven, and will come again to rule with an iron scepter. And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days. Back up to (Revelation 12:3-4 KJV) And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. Then in (Revelation 12:17 KJV) And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. The remnant of the Jews during the Great Tribulation. Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, and Daniel are types of the remnant of the Jews. They were in Babylon. But now they are being persecuted. (Daniel 3:9 KJV) They spake and said to the king Nebuchadnezzar, O king, live for ever. How could he live forever? They’re all dead. Nebuchadnezzar is dead, Darius is dead, Cyrus is dead, Alexander is dead, Caesars are all dead, as no one lives forever. The Bible says: And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: (Hebrews 9:27 KJV) The Lord Jesus Christ is only one who lives forever, and only those who believe in Him, accepts Him as the Savior, and receives the Holy Spirit. Otherwise, no one lives forever. In verses 10 and 11 shows us the sounds of various musical instruments, and then they fell down and worshiped the golden image, and whoever did not will be thrown into the midst of the fiery furnace. He wants 100% obedience. This is a command. If you don’t obey the command, you can’t escape the punishment. If you don’t want to obey this command of the coming Tribulation, you must be saved today. Therefore, we must continue to preach the gospel. We must preach the gospel diligently until the rapture so that they will not face such wicked times. For this mission we must do any sort of work, and God gives an open door to those who do this. Providing an open door to preach the gospel. An open door has two meanings. It will be the door of the rapture and the door of preaching the gospel. No one can enter unless God opens the door. When God opens a door, no one can close it; when God closes a door, no one can open it. You cannot ascend to heaven on the Day of Christ just before the Great Tribulation begins unless you are born again. Otherwise, you will have to go through every damnation of the kingdom of the Antichrist on earth. The Babylonians begin their accusation in verse 12. When Daniel had given King Nebuchadnezzar the dream and the interpretation, he sat at the king’s gate, and Shadra
7-23-2023 Sunday Sermon Message Meditations of the Week: Psalm 91:1-16 Text says: 2 Corinthians 11:1-2 Word Title: The glory that God’s Church, the Bride of Christ, will receive after the Rapture. The Apostle Paul testified that he did not learn the gospel of Christ from others, but received it directly from the Lord: ¶ For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. (1 Corinthians 11:23-25 KJV) The apostle Paul testified of the gospel of Christ: ¶ For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. (Romans 1:16 KJV) He also testified of the gospel of Christ, which is the power of God for the salvation of all who believe: ¶ Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: (1 Corinthians 15:1-5 KJV) He then witnessed of a very important and mysterious fact to Christians who believed in the gospel of Christ he preached and were saved: ¶ Would to God ye could bear with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear with me. For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. (2 Corinthians 11:1-2 KJV) The apostle Paul testified to the saints of Corinthian church that Gentile believers in Christ had been saved by receiving the Spirit of Christ, and that he felt reverential jealousy before a mysterious truth unimaginable to a Jew as himself. In other words, he testified to this great mystery of how they were betrothed to the Lord Jesus Christ. He testified that Christians who believed in the gospel of Christ and were born again of the Holy Spirit, whether Jews or Gentiles, became not only God’s children but also betrothed brides to Christ, God’s only begotten Son, forming the Church of God. Because of this, he testified, Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God: (1 Corinthians 10:32 KJV) The Apostle Paul also commanded his spiritual son Timothy two very important missions before he passed away. The first is to spread the word about the Day of Christ when Christ comes to take the Church of God, His bride, the Rapture day and the Millennial Kingdom of Christ, where Christ will rule the whole world with His bride, the Church of God: ¶ I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. (2 Timothy 4:1-2 KJV) He also testified to Christians persecuted in Rome about the persecutions and glory that the Church of God, the bride of Christ, will receive: The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: ¶ And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. (Romans 8:16-18 KJV) The Holy Spirit testified through the apostles about the glory that the Church of God, the Bride of Christ, would receive. In particular, Apostle Paul testified about the rapture, in which the Bride of Christ, the Church of God, would be caught up into heaven on the Day of Christ to receive glory: For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 KJV) The apostle John testified that Christians who are raptured at this time will be transformed into the image of Christ. King David also confessed in his prayer that he hoped to be transformed into the image of Christ on the day of Christ’s resurrection.( Psalm 17:15) Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. (1 John 3:2-3 KJV) The apostle Paul testified to the miraculous transformation of the body of Christians, the Bride of Christ, into the image of Christ on the day of the Rapture: ¶ Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. (1 Corinthians 15:51-54 KJV) The raptured saints will ascend to heaven, and at the Judgment Seat of Christ, they will be rebuked and rewarded with crowns according to what they have physically done according to the will of God: For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. (2 Corinthians 5:10 KJV) But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. (Romans 14:10 KJV) The apostles testified of the glorious crowns that the raptured saints would receive at the Judgment Seat of Christ: (Crown of Righteousness) I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. (2 Timothy 4:7-8 KJV) (Crown of Rejoicing) ¶ Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved. (Philippians 4:1 KJV) For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming? For ye are our glory and joy. (1 Thessalonians 2:19-20 KJV) (Crown of Life) Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. (James 1:12 KJV) Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. (Revelation 2:10 KJV) (Incorruptible Crown) And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway. (1 Corinthians 9:25-27 KJV) (Crown of Glory) Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being ensamples to the flock. And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away. (1 Peter 5:2-4 KJV) The crown mentioned in the Bible is the right to rule. The apostle John ascended to heaven and testified to the words he heard: And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. (Revelation 5:9-10 KJV) Christians who have received the crown will marry the Lamb, the Lord Jesus Christ, to become the Bride of Christ. The apostle John gave a testimony of this marriage ceremony: Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God. (Revelation 19:7-9 KJV) The Psalmist and Solomon, in the Holy Spirit, foreshadowed the wedding scene where the Bride of Christ would be married to Christ, and they testified about the guests invited to the ceremony: people who have been saved from Ada
Daniel #6 ¶ Then the king Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face, and worshipped Daniel, and commanded that they should offer an oblation and sweet odours unto him. The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth it is, that your God is a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret. Then the king made Daniel a great man, and gave him many great gifts, and made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief of the governors over all the wise men of Babylon. Then Daniel requested of the king, and he set Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, over the affairs of the province of Babylon: but Daniel sat in the gate of the king. (Daniel 2:46-49 KJV) It would be surprising if someone correctly guessed a nightmare and its future outcome. However, people these days probably wouldn’t worship someone just for interpreting dreams. Nebuchadnezzar, despite his arrogance, feared God more than any ruler today. More so than any theologian, the Pope, more so than any famous religious figure, or any other man of God. God loves people who Love His word, and he receives the brokenhearted. The Bible is very clear that God receives those who come to Him brokenhearted because of their sins. Nebuchadnezzar quickly understood the word of God, unlike many who hear it proclaimed today. He worshipped Daniel instead of God, which showed his fear of the word of God and his reverence for people. The Bible mentions that many gifts and spices were offered to Daniel, but he simply let Nebuchadnezzar bow down to him. When the angel of the Lord appeared to John in the book of Revelation, John simply bowed down. The man said, “Do not worship me. Only worship the Lord. I believe this to be Daniel. “I am a servant prophet like you.” Because the Lord told Daniel what was going to happen, but then he told him to seal it, and he revealed it to the apostle John. Daniel should’ve told Nebuchadnezzar to worship only God, not him when the king fell down and worshipped him. Again, Nebuchadnezzar was the greatest king alive back in those day. Of course, God bestowed such power unto him. Daniel did not hesitate to sit at the king’s gate. The king’s gate means to become the second in command. Then he put Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in charge of the affairs of Babylon as well as himself, and Daniel accepted all sorts of oblations and gifts. In a way, this could be seen as Daniel being tested and failing as even a man of God can sin. No one is perfect. The Bible says: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (Romans 3:23 KJV) And we’re going to see what happened to Daniel when he went into the lion’s den and almost died. You’re going to see some terrible suffering. When you read the scripture, you realize that even people who appear to be blameless and righteous in the eyes of man have one or more blemishes. No one is perfect. Even Joseph, who was the second in command in Egypt, his deception by hiding the silver cup in Benjamin’s money bag and used that to leverage Benjamin as hostage. Look at Noah. Noah was a righteous man in his time, but then he is saved from the flood, as he and his family were the only ones left in the world. Feeling like the king, he let himself loose and got drunk and slept naked, ended up cursing Ham. Noah wasn’t a perfect man either, and we know from the Bible that no one can claim righteousness apart from the blood of Jesus Christ on the cross. What about David? David was also a perfect man. God says he was perfect except for his sin with Bathsheba, as he ended up committing adultery and murder. What about Moses, he couldn’t control his anger, he killed a man and he struck the rock twice. God told him to speak to the rock, but the people made Moses so angry that he struck it twice. Sure, the water came out of it, but because of that Moses couldn’t enter the land of Canaan. What about Paul? The Holy Spirit told him not to go, but he ignored him four times and went to Jerusalem. Philip’s daughters prophesied that Paul would be imprisoned if he went to Jerusalem, but he ignored it and went. What about Peter? He made an oath to follow the Lord even unto death. But he denied the Lord three times. Stephen was a perfect obedient man. But when he was martyred, he did not pray for the sinners, but for himself. However before our Lord died on the cross, He prayed for sinners to be forgiven of their sins and said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit. The bottom line is that no one can deny they are a sinner without the blood of Jesus Christ. That’s why Jesus said to the Jews, Matthew 5:48 (KJV) Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. But we can’t be perfect. The only way we can be perfect is through faith in the blood of Jesus Christ, because He has taken away all our sins, and when we put our full faith in Him, that’s when we’re made perfect. That’s the gospel. Out of 10,000 laws, even if I violate one but obeyed 9999, we have no choice but to fall into hell. Everyone is full of flaws. But who blotted out all flaws and sins? It is Christ who died and rose again for all who believe in Jesus, and we cannot condemn anyone. The Lord has already died and risen for each and every one who believe in Jesus, and we cannot judge anyone. That’s why we should also pray for our enemies. The Lord died on the cross for them as well. Jesus prayed first for His enemies, then for the Roman soldiers who crucified Him, and then He breathed His last breath. In this way, among those who have appeared on earth, there is none righteous, not even one, except Jesus Christ, who appeared as a man. Romans 3:10 (KJV) As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There was not then, there is not now, and there never will be. Daniel was no exception. Only the Lord is to be praised. No one else can be exalted, and no one else can be judged. For the Lord has died for them all. Daniel 2:47 (KJV) The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth [it is], that your God [is] a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret. Nebuchadnezzar had the intellect to immediately know the Word of God. But he did not know that God was his Savior. But he knew at once when he heard Daniel speak. He only knew that God is the God of gods. Many people are like that. They claim to believe in God. But don’t know why they should believe in Jesus. There are also many people who say, “I received God, not Jesus Christ,” they do not know the gospel. Jesus did say: John 14:1 (KJV)…ye believe in God, believe also in me. In verse 48, they gave gifts and made them rulers. In the past, Balaam received many things from a gentile king and ended up being rebuked by God. We can see in that scenario God recompensed, but if we dig deeper, such minor mistake leads into a greater one, starting with the fact that Daniel did not stop Nebuchadnezzar from bowing down to worship him. We can once again affirm that only God is righteous. Daniel 3:1-3 (KJV) Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height [was] threescore cubits, [and] the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon. Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the princes, the governors, and the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up. Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up. We just saw in chapter 2. When the king worshiped Daniel, he accepted it and made this mistake. A picture of: Once you fall into sin, you will continue to sin. Here they make a golden image and worship it. And many people claim Daniel must have gone on a business trip. An extraordinary event of bowing down to the golden image was taking place, but where could Daniel, the second in command, go on a business trip? For some reason, I thought Daniel was a perfect person. Daniel can’t possibly be bowing down to the image. But there is no scripture about whether Daniel bowed or not. Those who did not bow down were condemned to die. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were thrown into a fiery furnace because they disobeyed the king’s orders. If Daniel hadn’t bowed down, he would have fallen in there along with his companions. Considering that Daniel already made a mistake and sinned in chapter 2 and was later thrown into the lions’ den, we must believe absolutely nothing happens without God’s permission. We’ll go over this later. Had Daniel just bowed his head without realizing it, how would he feel when Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego fell into the furnace? Back in the day, famous Korean pastors bowed their heads at the Japanese Shinto Shrine worship. And even though they had to go through heavy repentance, it’s to show that anyone can commit this sin. During the Korean War, the People’s Army came down from the North and threatened to kill anyone for attending church on Sundays. Out of fear, most went off to work. Only a few went to church. The pastor of the church who Pastor Song once served, always wanted to be martyred. While many wrote down notes on the church buildings not to be bombed on June 25, this pastor didn’t put up such signs. And when the People’s Army told everyone to go to work, he didn’t, instead he just rang the church bell. But the People’s Army did not arrest him. Later, in the early morning hours of September 1988, while studying the Book of Revelation, he was stabbed in the heart by an assailant and died on the spot. He was finally martyred as he wished. He had much respe
7-16-2023 Sunday Sermon Message Meditations of the Week: Psalm 91:1-16 Text: 1 Thessalonians 5:1-9 Word title: The times and the seasons of the Rapture according to the Bible Apostle Paul testified about the times and seasons unto the Thessalonian church saints waiting for the rapture: ¶ But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. ¶ Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, (1 Thessalonians 5:1-9 KJV) The Day of the Lord in the Bible refers to the Second Coming of Christ, The Judgment Day. Also, the Day of the Lord is to inform us of times and seasons when the Rapture will be. If we go back seven years from the Day of the Lord, past the Great Tribulation period, we can also know the times and seasons of the Rapture. A child-bearing woman does not know the exact day she will give birth, but when she is about 9 months pregnant, she expects that the time is near when she will suddenly go into labor and give birth. But others have no way of knowing when. Similarly, those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and received the Holy Spirit know the times and seasons of the Rapture day and the Day of the Lord through the words of the Bible written by the Holy Spirit. Before examining the times and seasons of the rapture, it would be wise to first examine the words revealed in the Old Testament concerning the rapture of which the Bible speaks. ¶ And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah: And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years: And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him. (Genesis 5:21-24 KJV) Enoch is an exceptional person who was raptured without experiencing death, and he is a model for blessed present day Christians who will be raptured avoiding death like Enoch as the times and seasons of the rapture are right in front of our eyes. But the Bible says everyone dies at least once. As the saying goes, there is no rule without exceptions. Blessed are those who are subject to the exceptions. And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. (Hebrews 9:27-28 KJV) Even in the prayer of King David, there is a prophecy about the rapture in the future: Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered at thy rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils. He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters. He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were too strong for me. They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my stay. He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me. (Psalm 18:15-19 KJV) The prophet Micah also prophesied what would take place at the rapture in the future: The good man is perished out of the earth: and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net. (Micah 7:2 KJV) The Holy Spirit testified of the rapture through the apostles. The apostle Matthew testified that many Old Testament saints who had fallen asleep in Abraham’s bosom were raised from the grave and raptured at the resurrection of Jesus: ¶ Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God. (Matthew 27:50-54 KJV) The Apostle Paul testified that the Old Testament saints who have been resurrected and raptured with Jesus at this time are the first fruits of the resurrection: ¶ But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. (1 Corinthians 15:20-22 KJV) Apostle Paul testified of Christians who will be resurrected and raptured with Christ in the future: But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming. Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. (1 Corinthians 15:23-24 KJV) The apostle Paul testified how those who have received the Holy Spirit and belong to Christ, those who await the Rapture, should prepare themselves: And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. (Galatians 5:24 KJV) Looking forward to the day of the Rapture, Jesus said to Martha: Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? (John 11:25-26 KJV) The apostle Paul testified to the New Testament saints who belong to Christ in the Holy Spirit through the words of Jesus Christ about what would happen on the day of the Rapture: For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. (1 Thessalonians 4:14-18 KJV) Just as Christ cast away the sins of the world into the depths of hell and ascended to heaven upon his resurrection, the Apostle Paul also testified to the mystery of Christians who believed in Christ and received the Holy Spirit and are caught up to heaven like the Lord on the day of the Rapture: ¶ Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. (1 Corinthians 15:51-53 KJV) Then, we need to know what the Bible says about the times and the seasons of the rapture we hope for. We must remember that God’s timetable is tailored to Israel. He spoke about those times and the seasons through the prophet Hosea: I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early. ¶ Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. (Hosea 5:15-6:2 KJV) The prophet Hosea prophesied that after the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, after His return to the right hand of the Heavenly Father, and two days (2,000 years) later, when the Israelites repent and cry out to God in the midst of the Great Tribulation, the time of Jacob’s Trouble, He will forgive their sins, redeem them, and then on the third day they will live with Christ in the Millennial Kingdom. Although there is some controversy as to when Christ returned to His place. Given that Jesus was born in 4 BC, it is considered reasonable to place the time when the Lord ascended to the right hand of the heavenly throne at 30 AD. Many people who study the Bible now know the modern days are like the Days of Lot. With the gold standard currency and the New International Order that BRICS is currently working on. Considering that there is evidence that the 7-year covenant for world peace led by the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) under the leadership of the United Nations is aiming for the target date of 2030, looking back 7 years, considering the possibility that the rapture could occur in 2023, we must wake up and pray in hope that such times and seasons has arrived. In addition, the majority of churches have united in religious integration (WCC, WEA, NCC), fallen away from Jesus, the only Christ, and committed the evil act of serving CHRISLAM as their own Christ. Now, after God’s regenerated Church is raptured and transported to heaven, the Antichrist will set up his k
Daniel #5 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. (Daniel 2:44-45 KJV) We’ll be focusing on these verses today. The Bible says after the destruction of all kingdoms of earth, just one kingdom will stand forever. This kingdom is not established by man, but by the God of heaven. This is the Kingdom of God and at the same time it is also the kingdom of heaven. What this means is that since it is still before the Lord’s Second coming to earth, the kingdom of God exists only in those who believe and have received the Holy Spirit. That is why the kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. Because the kingdom of God is formed within those who are born again by the Holy Spirit, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit reside within them as the King, as God, and as the Father. However there is no kingdom of God anywhere in this world, including the unregenerate people. That’s why Daniel sees the kingdom of God being established on earth, at the same time becoming the Kingdom of heaven. There is a distinction between kingdom of heaven and the kingdom of God. Only the King James Bible categorizes Kingdom of God and Kingdom of heaven separately, and if you don’t know this, you’ll get confused. Daniel is seeing the kingdom of God and kingdom of heaven at the same time since he does not know the Age of Grace. We must pay attention to the fact that the kingdom of God and the kingdom of heaven will come simultaneously in the earthly millennial kingdom after Jesus Christ returns to earth and judges every Gentile nations of this world. When Jesus Christ returns, from that moment on, all Jews have full authority to expect that the Lord will destroy all nations of the Gentile world and establish His kingdom. The Jews should know that only then, they will receive God’s promised kingdom. That’s why many preach the book of Daniel to the Jews. Israeli missionaries preach this in Hebrew language, conveying these words of Daniel chapter 2. The Lord came to earth as the King back in His First Coming. In order to introduce this king, John the Baptist was born to introduce the Jewish King Jesus Christ unto the Jews. That was John’s sole purpose to be birthed into this world. He preached out in the wilderness of Judea, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. (Matthew 3:1-2 KJV) Here comes the king. That very kingdom of heaven prophesied by Daniel is at hand.’ However the Jews didn’t know what that meant. There was no way to explain it. The Jews were expecting the Lord to sit on the throne of the King after God had destroyed the world government and established His kingdom. That is what Daniel is prophesying, but in fact, had the Jews accepted Jesus Christ as the Messiah 2000 years ago at His First Coming, the kingdom would have already come to Israel back then. However, God postponed it because the Lord had to die in order to save everyone. But they crucified and killed Jesus Christ. That’s why the Kingdom was delayed. In Christ before the foundation of the world, it was predestined that we too would be adopted as God’s children. the bride of Christ. Provided the 2000 year age of grace, and soon the bride of Christ will be lifted up, and during the 7 year Tribulation the Jews will realize: ‘Now I, Jesus am the king. The kingdom is coming.’ That is why, the kingdom gospel is preached during the 7 years of tribulation, not the gospel of grace. ‘The Kingdom of Heaven is coming to this earth. the King is on His way! Repent!’ In other words, that very gospel John the Baptist preached, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. will once again be repeated. Unto the nation of sheep in Matthew 25, “for I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.” Matthew 25:35-40 KJV Just as from the book of Ezekiel, the Jews will have nothing to eat, imprisoned, get sick throughout the Great Tribulation. My brethren here are the Jews. These are all things concerning the events at the Lord’s Second coming. The Lord made it possible for us to know the Jews would go through the Tribulation through the prophecies. When the Jews eventually repent and believe in the Lord during the tribulation, when they believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the people, the nation who helped them will also enter the Millennium Kingdom. If the people of Republic of Korea help Israel during the Tribulation, they too can enter the Millennial Kingdom, otherwise they will go into the lake of fire counted as a nation of goat. Blessed are the nations that take good care of the people of Israel even today. America was blessed just before the twentieth century. When the Jews were looking for a new home out in the sea, while all other nations of the world refused to take them in, America received them with open arms. Many people starved to death on board. But America accepted them. That is why 7.6 million Jews currently live in the United States. That’s why the United States received much blessings for a long time since it’s independence in 1776. America was once called a paradise on earth. But how has it turned out? America sided with the Vatican, and continued to press Israel for peace in the Middle East, especially during the H.W.Bush era. Then in Clinton and W. Bush administration. Even today, Israel is still under pressure. Because of this, various disasters have occurred in America, and as the Lord said to Abraham, Genesis 12:3 (KJV) And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed is still being fulfilled. The Great Tribulation is incomparable to what Hitler did unto the Jews during World War II. That is why, just as the Lord blessed America for helping all the Jews when they were expelled, wandering around, poor and sick, At the Lord’s Second coming, He will finally bless the people who helped them during the Tribulation. Allowing their entrance into the kingdom, inherit the kingdom and receive eternal life That’s why, even during the Great Tribulation, God gives us opportunities individually and nationally as well. John 3:16 (KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life, as long as they believe until right before the Lord returns to earth at the end of tribulation. When we pray for our unbelieving family members or non-believing friends, we have to look ahead and pray even that far advanced into timeline. Even if they cannot be raptured by the time of Lord’s Second coming, we must still pray that they can be saved even there. God always answers such prayers. During that time, in heaven we will see the prayers being answered of all who we have prayed. There’s a story about a person who prayed for the salvation of about hundred different people. The story goes on to tell that some were saved while that person was still alive, some were saved by coming to that person’s funeral, and some received salvation long after that person’s death. When the Lord comes at the end of the tribulation, the kingdom of heaven is established on earth, and because the Lord is physically present on earth, the entire world becomes the kingdom of God. Remember, the Lord First conveyed the word Matthew 6:33 (KJV) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. You must first seek the coming millennial kingdom. And seek the righteousness of God. It’s about believing in Jesus. Then God will add everything unto you concerning the things you eat and drink. In same manner, we too must first seek the oncoming kingdom of God, and seek God’s righteousness. Not my righteousness. God’s purpose is for his kingdom to come. That’s why He saves us. That’s why, for the sake of the kingdom of God, we ask those who will enter it to somehow reap the fruits that lead to eternal life. This is the food that Jesus Christ ate. We must eat a lot of the Lord’s food. More than we eat the perishable foods. Then we will be strong both physically and spiritually. You will get spiritually weaker if you only eat and drink the perishable foods of the world. However, if we eat more spiritual food than we eat the foods of the world, we will become strong both physically and spiritually being able to overcome the tings of this world. This sort of person is untouchable. It’s so easy to share the gospel these days over our smartphones and tablets. Can we not lead those who will hear the word into the kingdom of God in these last days? I pray that you will do so. Daniel 2:45 (KJV) Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream [is]
7-9-2023 Sunday Sermon Message Meditations of the Week: Psalm 91:1-16 Text: 1 Corinthians 2:7-16 Word title: Fire Judgment Coming Toward the Sodom-Like World The apostle Paul testified of oncoming future events to the Corinthian church saints with the prophetic words recorded by Isaiah: 1 Corinthians 2:7-9 (KJV) But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, [even] the hidden [wisdom], which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known [it], they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. If so, it is easy to know through the words of the Bible about what God has for those who love Him, what Christians who have received God’s Holy Spirit are waiting for. These are none other than the rapture that will take place on the day of Christ, the millennial kingdom, and God’s judgment upon the sinful Sodom-like world that Satan, along with the Antichrist and the false prophet, has polluted. We too can see, hear, and understand the things that will happen in the future through the words that no one has ever heard or understood since the foundation of the world, when we see and hear the words the apostle Paul testified “as it is written,” God prophesied through Isaiah: Isaiah 34:1-10 (KJV) Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all things that come forth of it. For the indignation of the LORD [is] upon all nations, and [his] fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter. Their slain also shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their carcases, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood. And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling [fig] from the fig tree. For my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Idumea, and upon the people of my curse, to judgment. The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, [and] with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the LORD hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea. And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness. For [it is] the day of the LORD’S vengeance, [and] the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion. And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch. It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever. Jesus Christ said these things would happen during the Great Tribulation. On the day of His Second Coming, Matthew 24:28 (KJV) For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together. and He also told Job long ago. Job 39:30 (KJV) Her young ones also suck up blood: and where the slain [are], there [is] she. Matthew 24:29-30 (KJV) Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. Apostle John witnessed in the Holy Spirit that these things would happen when the sixth seal was opened after the Great Tribulation has begun: Revelation 6:12-17 (KJV) And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. The prophet Isaiah witnessed the scene where the Lord Jesus Christ appeared and judged by fire and gave a detailed testimony. Apostle Paul testified that this was prepared for those who love God: Isaiah 64:1-4 (KJV) Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence, As [when] the melting fire burneth, the fire causeth the waters to boil, to make thy name known to thine adversaries, [that] the nations may tremble at thy presence! When thou didst terrible things [which] we looked not for, thou camest down, the mountains flowed down at thy presence. For since the beginning of the world [men] have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, [what] he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him. The prophet Isaiah also testified of the Lord Jesus Christ who judges like one who tread the winepress at the battle of Armageddon: Isaiah 63:1-6 (KJV) Who [is] this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this [that is] glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save. Wherefore [art thou] red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat? I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people [there was] none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment. For the day of vengeance [is] in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come. And I looked, and [there was] none to help; and I wondered that [there was] none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me. And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth. Apostle John testified once again, who witnessed the scene where the Lord Jesus Christ opened the heavens descending together with His Bride, the raptured Church to battle against the nations gathered to oppose Him: Revelation 19:14-21 (KJV) And the armies [which were] in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on [his] vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all [men, both] free and bond, both small and great. And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which [sword] proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh. The prophet Zechariah testified and prophesied of the Lord Jesus Christ, who establishes His Millennial Kingdom and reigns forever after His judgment at Armageddon: Zechariah 14:1-5 (KJV) Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which [is] before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, [and there shall be] a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. And ye shall flee [to] the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, [and] all the saints with thee. Zechariah 14:9 (KJV) And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one. May the grace and mercy of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ be with you, Amen! Hallelujah!
Daniel #4 God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, our Lord Jesus Christ, Father of glory, may your name be hallowed. We look forward to the kingdom of God the Father that will be fulfilled in heaven and on earth and in the New Jerusalem, and we want to put our hope in the Word. Help us, Lord, to see your glory in the Word by giving us wisdom and understanding through the Holy Spirit. Please help all the members of this church to wear the full armor of the Word and not be deceived while living on earth and overcome the spiritual battles, so that they can all stand out as soldiers of the cross. Like Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, help us to overcome the world by fully trusting only the Lord. We give thanks and pray in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. (Daniel 2:31-43 KJV) ¶ Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof was terrible. This image’s head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay. Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces. Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth. This is the dream; and we will tell the interpretation thereof before the king. Thou, O king, art a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory. And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all. Thou art this head of gold. And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth. And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise. And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters’ clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay. The head is gold, Nebuchadnezzar and his Babylonian empire. The Babylonian king reigned for about 70 years, from 606 to 536 BC. When Daniel said Thou art this head of gold, this also describes Nebuchadnezzar and Babylon. However verse 39 says there will rise another inferior kingdom to Babylon and Nebuchadnezzar, trickling down all the way to the fourth kingdom. So in other words, the king and the kingdom are described as same at the same time. Daniel 7:17 is a scene where four beasts rise out of the sea. Concerning these beasts, the Bible says that these four great beasts are four kings who will arise from the earth. In Daniel 7:21, the fourth beast will become the fourth kingdom on earth. We’ll come back to this later. The image’s chest and arms are silver. These are the kingdoms of Medes and Persia. Historically it was the Medean King Darius and King Cyrus of Persia. Iran is the descendants of the Persians. Modern Iranians are attempting to bring back the old Persian empire through their nuclear programs. They are delusional at best. The Persian empire came and went as their glory now only remains as ruins. All these kingdoms were once lead by dictators. They were all ruled by kings. Ultimately the Medo-Persian empire also fell to Alexander the Great of Greece. It was destroyed 330 years before the arrival of our Lord. Then verse 32 says the belly and thighs of the image are brass. Earlier, Medes and Persia were silver, but now this kingdom is brass. Daniel in verse 39 states that another third kingdom of brass will arise and rule the world. As prophesied, Alexander the Great rose to powers, as he was more of a military minister than a dictator. He became the monarch as the military minister, ruling over a province. Alexander started in Macedonia and traveled around the world as a dictator of world dominance, but he did not rule the entire world. So, just like that, brass is inferior to silver. Alexander was no match to Nebuchadnezzar. Nebuchadnezzar was called king of kings. But our Lord is the KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. Not only did God allow Nebuchadnezzar to wield enough power back then to be called the king of kings, but God also utilized the king and the Babylonian empire for his purpose. Again, Alexander, Darius and Cyrus are nothing compared to Nebuchadnezzar. However, Babylon the Great reappears during the Great Tribulation. That’s why in Revelation John wondered with great admiration. He marveled at the mysterious reappearing of Babylon the Great. Although kingdom of Greece lasted about 100 years, Alexander himself died at a very young age. After his death, the kingdom was divided into four. We will study this again later. Verse 33 shows the iron legs of the great image. Showing that the fourth kingdom will be as powerful as iron, breaking everything into pieces and conquers in its path. This is Rome. We know through history that the Roman empire rose up as world power 100 years before the arrival of Lord Jesus Christ. Rome never had a successful dictator or military dictatorship, but rather Republican Monarchy. Again, even Caesar is nothing compared to Nebuchadnezzar. With the introduction of Senate, even the mighty Caesar had to heed to the advice of the Roman Senators, thus weakening his authority. So these two legs represent iron Rome which eventually split into East and West. In verse 33, the image’s feet are now part iron, and part clay. Representing the final kingdom and the end of the world. As for what kingdom this is, verse 41 tells us And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters’ clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. (Daniel 2:41 KJV) And just like that Rome is now divided. What happened after the Roman Empire dissolved? They blended into Europe. Even the ancestors of United States, migrated from Europe. After all, America is also a nation of clay and iron just as Europe is. Some European nations are powerful, while some are weak. Countries like France & Germany are powerful. However countries like Greece and Spain are not far from becoming a third-world nation. Take a look at USA. Some call it a melting pot. A nation of iron and clay. Contrary to it’s name, people within the United States cannot be combined with each other. Whites, Asians, Hispanics and blacks all live together, but truth be told, they don’t really mingle or mix together that well. They are like grains of sand. It’s just like the Bible says. Through this you can see that we live in the era of the ten toes. All kinds of people live together. What a troublesome and chaotic nation the United States has become. That’s not all. Every nation around the world have integration of many races due to millions of immigrants blending in causing many problems. Therefore, it is better to recognize the kingdoms corresponding to these ten toes as ten kings rather than as kingdoms. The Book of Revelation tells us about the ten kings. So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. (Revelation 17:3 KJV) Ten horns are the ten kings. Connecting to the ten kings of Daniel. (Revelation 13:1 KJV) ¶ And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. This beast is the Antichrist. It has ten horns. Ten crowns upon his ten horns. First ten kings are established. However, the Antichrist later pulls out three of them and becomes the full-on dictator. (Revelation 17:11-12 KJV) And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition. And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. There were 7, the 8th will rise among the 10 horns. They’ll rule for a short time, an hour, and then the antichrist will appear like little horn, and he will take control. Therefore, in the book of Revelation, the ten horns are ten kings, and they are waiting to receive authority the kingdoms. And these kings appear to who have a close relationship with one beast, the antichrist. So, upon seeing that we have arrived to the era of the ten toes of iron and clay, you can realize we are near the end. In (Revelation 13:1 KJV) we see a beast; a man representing a kingdom, rising out of the sea. This sea is the Mediterranean. Let’s skip forward to (Daniel 7:7 KJV) After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns. He The kingdom that corresponds to the mixed iron and clay toes of the image Nebuchadnezzar saw, is the beast in Daniel’s vision that has great iron teeth. It
7-2-2023 Sunday Sermon MessageMeditations of the Week: Psalm 91:1-16Text: Revelation 22:16-21Word title: The Spirit and the Bride preach the gospel for the last time just before the Rapture Apostle John testifies the scene where the Holy Spirit in the bride of Christ testifies the gospel to the world for the last time just before the imminent Rapture:Revelation 22:17 (KJV) And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. Revelation 22:21 (KJV) The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [be] with you all. Amen. The Lord Jesus Christ, who testified of every word of Revelation said, Surely I come quickly. unto the Apostle John, He immediately responded to the Lord. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. The Holy Spirit, who came to the world as the Comforter on the day of Pentecost 2,000 years ago, enters into all who repent and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ whom the Holy Spirit testifies of and accepts Him as Lord and Savior, so that the Kingdom of God may be established within them, and from then on Rejoicing in God (Rom 5:11) in righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit (Rom 14:17), disregarding the works of the flesh, but to live a life of witnessing only Christ Jesus, by the indwelling Holy Spirit until the day of rapture, the day of Christ, when the Lord appears in the air. Now, just before the Holy Spirit is transferred to heaven with the bride of Christ, to all the people of the world, They are preaching the gospel until the last moment with the desire for them to be saved by grace and receive eternal life by believing in the death, burial and resurrection on the third day of the Lord Jesus Christ (1Cor 15:1-3), and to participate in the rapture. Apostle Paul clearly testified to the Thessalonian church saints about the times and the seasons when the Spirit and the Bride will be transferred to heaven:2 Thessalonians 2:2-8 (KJV) That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for [that day shall not come], except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth [will let], until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: The Apostle Paul is testifying about the times and season near the day of Christ, the day of rapture. He warned of deceivers and also testified that day will not come unless the church falls away and the son of perdition, the antichrist, appears. He also testified the timing of the appearance of the antichrist, that the Wicked one will appear when the blocker is taken out of the way. There are different opinions as to who the blocker is, but God will not reveal the wicked Antichrist until the bride of Christ is raptured and taken to heaven with the Holy Spirit. We need to understand this more clearly through the Bible. This is what we know from the testimony of the apostle John:Revelation 4:1-3 (KJV) After this I looked, and, behold, a door [was] opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard [was] as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and [one] sat on the throne. And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and [there was] a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald. Apostle John being transferred to heaven in the Spirit, was a foreshadowing of the New Testament saints, the bride of Christ, being raptured in the future. In addition, Apostle John witnessed the appearance of the Antichrist appearing on a white horse after he was raptured and transported to heaven:Revelation 6:1-2 (KJV) And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. Many apostate, the so-called church of God have already integrated with other religions as they have been fornicating with Babylon the Great, The Roman Catholic church. Apostle John testified about the conditions for becoming a child of God and the bride of Christ:1 John 5:1 (KJV) Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. The chosen nation of Israel, like the modern churches, have long since become like the ancient Sodom and Gomorrah. The prophet Isaiah testified of their reality:Isaiah 1:10-15 (KJV) Hear the word of the LORD, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah. To what purpose [is] the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats. When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts? Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; [it is] iniquity, even the solemn meeting. Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear [them]. And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood. The present world, the apostate church, and Israel, as a trinity mock God, unafraid of their imminent judgment of fire and brimstone that will fall on them. The Lord said:Luke 17:26-30 (KJV) And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed [them] all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. Apostle Peter prophesied that just before the rapture takes place, even the churches of God would unite with the world ridiculing God in the end times:2 Peter 3:3-7 (KJV) Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as [they were] from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.Amen ! Hallelujah!
Daniel #3 Father God Thank you for giving us the precious time to hear the words of the Holy Spirit. Help us to put these precious words in us and to walk in the light of these words. Help us to be the ones who know what the world will be like in the Word of God, not by listening to the words of the people of the world. We earnestly pray that God will help us not to be afraid as we watch the news of the world, but to receive answers in the word of God. Thank you for giving us the wisdom you gave to Daniel today. Thank you for the wisdom that is in the Holy Spirit. Whenever we pray, help us to use that wisdom so that we, like Daniel, can know for sure what will happen in the future and live in hope. Thank you and we pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen. (Daniel 2:14-18 KJV) ¶ Then Daniel answered with counsel and wisdom to Arioch the captain of the king’s guard, which was gone forth to slay the wise men of Babylon: He answered and said to Arioch the king’s captain, Why is the decree so hasty from the king? Then Arioch made the thing known to Daniel. Then Daniel went in, and desired of the king that he would give him time, and that he would shew the king the interpretation. Then Daniel went to his house, and made the thing known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions: That they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this secret; that Daniel and his fellows should not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. Their lives were in jeopardy. Daniel bought some time. He talked to Ariok and promised that he will find out the dream and the interpretation if he was given some time, otherwise he’ll die if he got it wrong. Unlike the other magicians, Daniel didn’t promise to tell the interpretation if he was told what the dream was. This is a man of God. People in the world will just lie and do a mediocre job and move on. Who’s gonna know? If prophecy doesn’t get fulfilled it won’t matter as people will forget everything. But Daniel made it clear. After all, this was his absolute reliance on God. God gives wisdom and shows all to those who absolutely relies on him. God will never give understanding to a person who has one foot in the world and the other in God. People who does not fully trust the Lord when hearing the word of God. People who don’t believe in the Lord’s help, will never understand the Word unless they trust in His power. No understanding equals no works. One cannot bear fruit because there is no works. So does believing in Jesus. When you are first saved, you really have to believe with the determination that if you don’t really give your life to Jesus, you will die. People who simply write their names on church register will never understand the Bible. That is why only who understand bear fruit 30, 60, and 100 fold. We bear the fruit of God’s Word in our lives. In other words, the word becomes flesh. Therefore, life becomes that resembles the Lord. So here, Daniel, as a representative took a bullet for the team. Daniel tells his companions, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah about the situation in verse 17. They did not question each other about what to do. Folks, churches shouldn’t have meetings. What would you like me to do? What is your opinion? Nothing will ever be solved. The same goes for the working world. Companies that have many problems and have bunch of meetings inevitably go bankrupt. So does the church. God’s people have no place to stand because many people speak their opinions in the meetings. A person who prays receives answers. But in a meetings, a decision is made by a majority vote. This is not how church operates. The Church is not a democracy. The church is theocracy. The church is where God has the absolute power. That is why no problem can be solved without prayer. And whenever there is a problem, all have to gather together, pray, and receive answers on the spot. Then, If you’ve prayed, you have to wait for an answer. Many pray about things even when there is no need to. God has already told us to do this or that through His Word. Those type of things has already been answered by the Lord. Something really special happened to Daniel here. As verse 18 says: That they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this secret; They prayed to the God of heaven to ask for mercy. A person facing death but does not pray but seeks out people and tries to solve them is not yet a man of God. If we really understand the Bible, we must know that prayer is the best no matter what the problem. Even small things. Gold helps me find it when I lose something and I pray about it. He sometimes show me where where I left it while I pray. God answers those who pray about small to large issues. It is evil to worry and not pray to God. This is an evil heart. Prayer is the only way to solve the problem. Understanding the Bible is not possible without prayer. When reading the Bible, there is a difference between a person praying and just reading the Bible. That’s why people who understand each and every detail through the Bible, are not only wise but also get solutions to small and big problems as they live very clearly and purely. That is why it is impossible to understand the Bible without the guidance and illumination of the Holy Spirit. Those who do not have the Holy Spirit and those who do not pray cannot understand the Bible. Prayer is the basic attitude of those who read the Bible. You can’t do it without praying. And if you don’t understand, leave it behind and start praying. Then, through preaching, through word study, and through prayer, the person who prays receives understanding. Those who hold on to this Word and pray will understand when they hear it. We have bible study every week. You know what we’re doing next week. There is a night and day difference between a person who prays while reading the scripture in advance and a person who just comes to the study. So, those who do not pray cannot do anything. So, what happened after they prayed? Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven. (Daniel 2:19 KJV) This wasn’t a dream while sleeping at night. Daniel had vision at night. A vision is what you see when you really need it. Pastor Song once had a vision. He saw it once in a word. He is living his life according to that vision. It’s testifying that Word according to the Word. The word he had received back in 1989, he went to Jerusalem and proclaimed it through radio broadcast: (Matthew 3:9 KJV) And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. Various unclean beasts came down wrapped in a giant sheet in a vision while Peter prayed at the sixth hour. And God told him to kill and eat during this vision. This was a serious problem for Peter for he had never eaten anything common or unclean. It wasn’t a coincidence. God already showed the vision to Cornelius when he prayed. This was all a preparation to meet Cornelius. God only shows us to accomplish His will, but what happens to our business for our own benefit is what the devil shows us. Don’t be fooled. God gave this vision to not only to Daniel, but for us know in advance what will happen in the Millennial Kingdom and all the details of the great tribulation described in the Book of Revelation. He did not show the vision for Daniel to avoid death. It’s was not for self-interest. That’s why Daniel blessed God. (Daniel 2:20 KJV) Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: To gain wisdom and power, you must completely turn your face toward God. (Daniel 2:21-22 KJV) And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him. Even non-believers know that Some divine figure dethrones all kings and ruins kingdoms. Evil kings and presidents are brought down.” Haven’t dictators fallen one by one throughout the course of history? How could a person who has received the understanding and knowledge of God not know? (Job 28:28 KJV) says to depart from evil is understanding. A person with understanding departs from evil. Understanding is the wisdom to understand the Word of God. To understand God’s word is to depart from evil, and only by departing from evil can one receive understanding. So the Lord told his disciples to deliver us from evil: (Matthew 6:13 KJV) (Daniel 2:21-22 KJV) Therefore God giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him. Everything is in the word of God. There are many skeptics about what’s going to happen in the future online and on TV these days. Don’t rely on things like this, but we must realize that the word of God says. And you have to understand that the events unfolding around the world are reflections of what is already revealed in the Bible. An unwise person soley relying and believing the news of the world events without the word of God is sure to be deceived. Tricked by the devil for sure as fear will enter their hearts and be full of worries. Fully Understand the book of Daniel. It tells us about what’s coming. Understand the book of Revelation. It contains everything, also in Ezekiel, including Genesis, Exodus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, the Gospels and the prophets. Just by knowing this one book, the Holy Bible, you will receive clear understanding of what will happen in the future. This is wisdom and understanding, and this is the only way we realize deep and secret things. (Daniel 2:23 KJV) I thank thee, and praise thee, O tho
6-25-2023 Sunday Sermon Message Meditations of the Week: Psalm 91:1-16 Text: Hebrews 12:1-2 Word title: Let us run looking forward to the day of the rapture! The writer of Hebrews testifies about a cloud of people of faith who lived before the appearance of Jesus Christ. They were all who fully believed in the things they hoped for. Also, through their faith, although invisible to people’s eyes, it was evidence that the things they hoped for clearly exist. We need to know that many people of faith like this have been resurrected and have already ascended to heaven to surround us and encourage us by cheering us about how faith has been fulfilled. Today, as we hear their voices through the Word, we must test and confirm whether our lives are denying ourselves, fighting and winning against sin in a life of believing in Jesus Christ, taking up our cross, and following Him by faith. Abel offered with faith that a lamb had to be offered as a sacrifice for his sins in order for him to be righteous. Although his body died, God accepted Abel and his offering. But Cain, who gave his own righteousness to God, his offering was not accepted. God accepted Abel’s faith and counted him righteous. Enoch was shown as a type of Christians living a holy life that pleases God in the end times who will not face death, who watches for the day of Christ, the day of rapture, when the Lord Jesus Christ will appear to reward them at the Judgment Seat of Christ. Noah became a man of faith who saved himself and his family by preparing an ark for 120 years, believing in the warning that God would judge the world with a flood, even though it had never rained from heaven at that time. His faith is a warning message to Christians living in today’s harsh end times, and it is a foreshadowing of the faith that saved his family. The Holy Spirit gave testimony through the apostle Paul: And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. (Acts 16:31 KJV) Apostle Peter testified of Noah as a preacher of righteousness: And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; (2 Peter 2:5 KJV) The Word testifies about Abraham’s faith. First, when he was called by God to leave for the land he was to inherit, he obeyed and left without knowing where to go (Hebrews 11:8). Second, he waited for the city as long as there was a foundation. (Hebrews 11:10). He believed in Jesus Christ, who was coming as his descendant, and foresaw the New Jerusalem, where the bride of Christ would live, and showed evidence that there is an invisible city. His faith was the evidence of the unseen. Third, by faith Abraham offered Isaac as a sacrifice when he was tested. He offered his promised only begotten Son. He believed God could raise Isaac from the dead. Because of this, God, who is the resurrection and the life, appeared as a man and personally spoke about the faith that those who believe in Him should have: Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? (John 11:25-26 KJV) Regarding this faith in the resurrection, Apostle Paul testified that these words of Jesus Christ are words of confirmation given to Christians who are living by faith as they look forward to the day of Christ: For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 KJV) In addition, there were countless people of faith such as Sarah, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, and Moses. The place they all yearned for was a better home, believing that God had prepared a heavenly city for them. Because the world was not suitable for them to live in, they were the overcomers of the world through their faith. God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, into the world to fight against sin to the point of shedding blood and take away the sins of the world (John 1:29). Jesus, who came as the Son of Man, became the author and finisher of faith for the children of God who believe in Him and are born again by the Holy Spirit. Jesus knew that when he died on the cross and was resurrected on the third day, many Old Testament saints of faith would be resurrected with him and ascend to heaven together. Looking forward to the day when he would rejoice together, He endured the cross, despised the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Apostle Matthew witnessed and testified to the scene where many Old Testament saints of faith were resurrected together upon the resurrection of Jesus Christ: ¶ Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. (Matthew 27:50-53 KJV) The message the writer of Hebrews gives to Christians living in the end times should be taken to heart: ¶ Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:1-2 KJV) Jesus said in advance to the disciples who followed him: ¶ Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. (Matthew 16:24 KJV) The apostle Paul, who followed the Lord Jesus Christ to his death, testified to the pastor Timothy about the joyous rapture and millennial kingdom ahead of him: ¶ I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. (2 Timothy 4:1-8 KJV) Amen! Hallelujah!
6-18-2023 Sunday Sermon Message Meditations of the Week: Psalm 91:1-16 Text says: Revelation 20:11-15 Word title: God’s Plan of Salvation and the Final Great White Throne Judgment God still wants everyone to be saved, not to be judged and destroyed: For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. (1 Timothy 2:3-4 KJV) These words, which Apostle Paul testified to Pastor Timothy, are for all who are living in the Age of Grace after the Lord Jesus Christ died and was resurrected as a sacrifice to take away the sins of the world. All who lived during the age of conscience without the law for 2,500 years since Adam. And all who lived during the Age of Law 1,500 years before the gospel of Christ’s grace was preached to the world. And finally he is referring to all Gentiles and Jews who lived during the Great Tribulation period after the day of Christ, which is after the Rapture, who were as numerous as the sands of the sea during Christ’s Millennial Kingdom. When Adam sinned because he could not overcome the temptation of the serpent, God knew that he was hiding from His face. So God took pity on their weakness and saved them by covering them with coats of skins. However, God made all of Adam’s descendants pay for their sins. With the exception of Noah and his family, God destroyed everyone through the Flood upon seeing the hearts and imaginations of all who existed during the 1,000 years after Adam were only evil. In order to become a sinner before God, sin cannot be established without the law given by God. Apostle Peter testified that God did not send them all to hell, but imprisoned their souls: ¶ For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. (1 Peter 3:18-20 KJV) After the judgment of the flood, God called Abram among the descendants of Shem, gave his grandson Jacob a new name, Israel, and chose his descendants to become his chosen people. It was an era when all people in the world lived with conscience without the law until he called Moses to gave them the law after having them experience the life of slavery in Egypt for 400 years. The Holy Spirit testified through the Apostle Paul God’s plan of salvation for all who lived in the Age of Conscience: For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. (Romans 2:14-16 KJV) In order to save and judge countless people who lived before the law was given, God, who is love, opens the records of their acts according to their conscience at the final judgment seat after the end of the Millennial kingdom of Christ. Apostle John, who saw this scene, testified: ¶ And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:11-15 KJV) There are a few things we need to know through the scene of the Great White Throne Judgment. First, all these dead were those who died before the Law God gave was proclaimed to the world. God’s standard of judgment is not based on the law, but rather whether or not they have acted according to the conscience given by God. Second, this is when death is thrown into the lake of fire. The very death that came through the devil since Adam will finally fall into the lake of fire forever. Apostle Paul testified that death is the enemy: The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. (1 Corinthians 15:26 KJV) Thirdly, all who did not keep the law and those who fell into hell because they did not believe in the gospel of the grace of Christ, will be in hell at the Great White Throne Judgment, and will fall into the eternal lake of fire together with hell. Fourth, through the words that whosoever is not written in the book of life will be thrown into the lake of fire, we see that some will be written in the book of life even at the Great White Throne Judgment. Whether they are small or great, God, who is love, wants to save even one more person by giving grace to each and every person who has lived for the past 6,000 years in all ages. When the apostle Paul wrote to the Church of Corinth he said: Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God: (1 Corinthians 10:32 KJV) God has shown us evidence over time that He loves all: whether they be the chosen people of Israel; the Jews who were given the Law, or the Gentiles who never received the Law and lived according to their Conscience, or from among the both groups of Jews and Gentiles, the church of God who are saved by believing in the Lord Jesus Christ and became God’s children. That is why, among those born into the world, God has set different positions for the saved Jew, Gentile, or the Church of God, who has become the bride of Christ, to occupy in the everlasting kingdom of God. If you look at the scene of Christ’s wedding ceremony in Psalm 45 and Revelation 19, you will see the blessed guests who were invited to celebrate the wedding ceremony besides the bride of Christ. John the Baptist testified that he was full of joy as the groom’s friend, for he was a man near the end of the Age of Law: All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad. Kings’ daughters were among thy honourable women: upon thy right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir. (Psalm 45:8-9 KJV) And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God. (Revelation 19:9 KJV) All saved Jews, Gentiles, and God’s children, who have been saved during the past seven thousand years, including the Millennial Kingdom, will live in God’s eternal Kingdom of the New Heaven, New Earth, and New Jerusalem without death and curses. The Jews as a nation of priests in the new earth. The Church, the bride of Christ, in New Jerusalem. And the Gentiles will migrate to the eternal stars in the new heaven and live in fullness. Apostle Paul testified that the church of God, the bride of Christ, will do the work of filling all things: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. (Ephesians 1:22-23 KJV) Amen! Hallelujah!
Daniel #2 Let’s continue from (Daniel 1:17-21 KJV) ¶ As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams. Now at the end of the days that the king had said he should bring them in, then the prince of the eunuchs brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar. And the king communed with them; and among them all was found none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah: therefore stood they before the king. And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king inquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm. And Daniel continued even unto the first year of king Cyrus. God gave special gifts to Daniel and his three friends. He gave them the gift of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of the LORD… the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; (Isaiah 11:2 KJV) That is why God gives wisdom, understanding, and might to who have received the Holy Spirit today. Thus creating a spiritually perfect man in a Babylon-like world of today. The Holy Spirit further enables us to serve other saints through the gifts given to those individuals who have received the Holy Spirit. Daniel, along with his friends, are special gifted people. Daniel is said to be a man of wisdom and knowledge comparable to the devil. You need to remember the devil is the wisest being after to God. Therefore, if we do not understand the Word in the Spirit of God, we will lose everything to the devil. That’s why people fail when they are put to the test. Satan is so cunning, that to those who do not thoroughly know the word of God, he will use the word of the Holy Bible to deceive and lead them to temptation. Let’s turn to Ezekiel chapter 28. Verse 3 is God speaking to Satan. Behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee: With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures: (Ezekiel 28:3-4 KJV) God told the Devil he is wiser than Daniel. There is no secret they can hide from him. Remember folks: Babylon was a great kingdom at the time. God used Nebuchadnezzar as His instrument to judge Israel. King Nebuchadnezzar wasn’t some weak random person. Current President of United States is nothing compared to him. As the kingdom that ruled over the entire world at the time, God temporarily gave wisdom and power and used it to judge Israel. No matter how wise Daniel was, he was not as wise as the devil. In other words, no one can outsmart the devil. He’ll ultimately fall into the lake of fire at the end of the millennium because he sinned, but the devil is nevertheless a wise being. It was no big deal for the devil, the old serpent to deceive the inhabitants of Garden of Eden. It was a piece of cake for the Devil to fool the man created from dirt. We must remember God made Daniel second only to the devil in wisdom and knowledge. Therefore, the way to overcome the devil is to stand firmly in the Word. You must put on the full armor of God. That is why the apostle Paul exhorts to put on the full armor of God when he wrote to the church in Ephesus. Against those principalities (Babylon) and powers, the rulers of the darkness of the world, and spiritual evil on high. To fight against this put on the full armor of God’s Word, for our fight is not against flesh and blood. It means to be fully armed spiritually from head to toe, and there should be no gaps. If there is a gap in the armor, the sword will come through. It is no wonder Christians get beat up by the Devil daily since they do not learn the word these days. We are told to wear the full body armor, but many Christians today are not wearing them. This is a sin and they do not realize this. They don’t realize that not studying the Bible or not reading the Bible is a sin. Even so, they resent God when they get problems poured upon their lives when they don’t do their part. you have to do what God tells you to do. It’s not an option. Verse 18, the king calls the boys in at the end of ten days. Daniel and the three Hebrew boys are brought before Nebuchadnezzar. The king wanted to see how much these men learned the sciences of Babylon, how much they have been transformed into Babylonian ideology, how brainwashed they have become to be completely loyal to Babylon and the royal palace. (Daniel 1:19 KJV) And the king communed with them; and among them all was found none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah: therefore stood they before the king. No doubt. Because they have received the Spirit of God and wisdom, they are second only to the devil. These men stood out as they are personally interview by the king himself. They get hired to work at the royal palace. Standing before the king is equivalent to modern day advisors from the White House. People who give direct advice to the king or president in economics, political and social affairs. People like Senior Secretary for Economic Affairs or National Security Advisor or Senior Secretary for Political Affairs, or Civil Affairs. So, standing in front of the Babylonian king at the time was a great honor. But ancient Babylon was much more powerful than today’s America. It is always working by the king’s side, directly advising the king’s dominion, as they stand before the king. They had deeper, meaningful conversations. This is naturally because Daniel was the person God established second to the devil in terms of knowledge, learning, and wisdom. Nebuchadnezzar was a smart ruler of an empire, as he was able to recognize this. He recognized God’s righteous people and utilized their wisdom. It’s the same today. It’s wonderful to share wisdom with god’s wise people. Again, this is why God used Nebuchadnezzar when Judah and Israel sinned. (Daniel 1:20 KJV) And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king inquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm. Nebuchadnezzar had been using magicians and astrologers to ask questions back then. He used fortune-tellers. To him, Daniel seemed like one of them. He made this comparison because he don’t know God. Daniel is not a magician or an astrologer. Modern day fortune-tellers are no match for the magicians and astrologers of that time. With the power they received from Satan, they foresaw the movements of the world, the stars, and informed people of good luck and misfortune. Fortune telling by looking at the stars and divination. There are people like this even today. When Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Jerusalem, people came to tell fortunes by looking at the stars. They are called the wise men, or the magis, but in fact, they were fortune-tellers through astrology. But God gave them wisdom and allowed them to know that Jesus, the Messiah had been born. God loves everyone. Back in those days, Israel was trying to kill the Messiah once he appeared, so God gave wisdom to such people to have them bring gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. As for the gold, signifies Jesus is God. As for the frankincense, He is the High Priest. And the bitter myrrh signifying He will die as a prophet. God allowed them to know this, and has shown us that Jesus is the Messiah. The Christ. The anointed. The only begotten Son of God as recorded in the Bible. Astrology is different from science. Astronomy is science, but astrology is not. Astrology is the study of divination by looking at the stars. However, astronomy actually studies location of stars and their movements, while astrology is fortune telling by looking at them. Astrology and astronomy are two different things. As such, verse 20 says Daniel and the three young Hebrew men had greater learning, wisdom, and science than all the wise men in Babylon, and just three or four times, but ten times better. Daniel and his three friends did not eat the king’s delicacies, and instead ate pulse as a test for ten days. Ten days. Number ten is shown again. Ten days of trial. A beast with ten horns appears in Daniel 7:7. Ten horns. These are the kings who will arise in the future. Ten is the number of Gentiles. God’s number is seven. That’s why we currently use the Gentile decimal system. One to ten, eleven to twenty, twenty one to thirty and so forth. (Daniel 1:21 KJV) And Daniel continued even unto the first year of king Cyrus. Cyrus is a Persian king. Nebuchadnezzar and Babylon fell, Medo-Persia came up next. After Nebuchadnezzar, Belshazzar was killed by Darius of Medes. Daniel reigned under the rule of Darius as well. Then onto when the next kingdom was integrated at the arrival of Cyrus of Persia. Daniel remained there during the reign of Medea and ruled under three kings. Daniel became the ruler of all the provinces of Babylon, became the head of the governors who presided over all the wise men, and he played the role of the right-hand man of Nebuchadnezzar, and he continued to be there until the first year of King Cyrus. In other words, Daniel had a very long life as a high ranking government official. God allowed it so until each government changed. Before we move on to Chapter 2, there’s something we’ll look at first. Chapter 2 is a very important chapter. One of the greatest chapters. The millennial kingdom appears and many theologians speak about premillennialism, postmillennialism, and amillennialism. Millennium represents a thousand years. Mill represents thousand, and annum representing year. Hence, Millennium. Premillennialists believe that Jesus will return to earth before the millennial kingdom and personally rule the kingdom at Second Coming. This is premillennialism. On the other hand, post-millennialists believe that the Lord will come after the Millennial Kingdom. After hu
Daniel Bible Study #1 Thank you, Father God for giving us grace to study the book of Daniel. Through the same grace and understanding you gave unto Daniel, may we all clearly see and understand the things ahead, so that we will not be shaken in hope in this current world what we live in which is just like the Babylon of the past. Please provide the same grace to all the saints and unto all listeners of this podcast and through our digital archives of our main church website. We thank you, beseech and pray in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. First of all, before we start the book of Daniel, let’s go over some introductory parts together. The book of Daniel has 12 chapters, 357 verses. Hebrew word for “Dan” means judge and “El” is the abbreviation of Elohim meaning God. Therefore, the name Daniel means “my judge is God.” If the book of Revelation describes what will happen from the end of the New Testament to the second coming of Christ, then the book of Daniel describes historical period from the end of the Old Testament to the beginning of the New Testament. In this respect, the book of Daniel occupies a very unique position in the Bible. What Revelation and Daniel have in common is that both of these books fill a certain gap. Therefore, to get all the historical information from Malachi to Matthew, we have no choice but to rely on the book of Daniel, which fills the gap in this period. Of course, the book of Daniel contains not only historical facts that fill the gap between Malachi, where the Old Testament ends, and Matthew, where the New Testament begins, but also prophetic words that go far beyond the Church Age and foresee the Great Tribulation and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. So, as we read the book of Daniel, we must have a broader view of not only the past history but also the future when the Lord comes. This will be very important to accurately understand the prophecies contained in the book of Daniel. With this thought in mind, we must study the book of Daniel. There has been attempts to find the historical information of this period from Malachi to Matthew through historical interpretations. Although there are powerful historical data such as the contents recorded in inscriptions or the traces of ruins, it could be used as a reference, but it can never be God’s explanation through the Bible. Daniel is the only God’s explanation of the historical facts from Malachi to Matthew. There is something called church history that describes history in this period: from the end of the New Testament to the Second Coming of Christ. However, in order to hear God’s explanation of history during this period, we must fully rely on Revelation, especially chapters 1, 2, and 3, rather than church history. The only thing we can fully rely on is the Word of God. In other words, just as the book of Revelation deals with the gap of the church age, we must know that the book of Daniel deals with the gap between Malachi to the beginning of the New Testament. The church history can be a reference, but it cannot be the only reference material and the source of all explanations. We must know that the source of all information for us is the Word of God. The book of Daniel records events over a period of around 73 years, between 607 BC to 534 BC. We can accurately estimate the time span of events recorded in this book, since we know for sure that these events were during Daniel’s captivity of Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar. The book of Daniel was originally not included in the Prophets of the Hebrew Bible, but belonged separately to the Ketuvim. There are many reasons for this, but undoubtedly perhaps not only did Daniel spend most of his life among the Gentiles as he spoke much about them, the Jews thought it to be bad to consider Daniel to be listed among the prophets. Part of this book was written in Aramaic (the ancient language of Syria), and the Old Testament as we all know was generally written in Hebrew, and we can see that parts of Genesis and Daniel were written in Aramaic instead of Hebrew especially Daniel 2 From verses 4 to 7:8. However, from that part of the prophecy concerning the future of Israel is written in Hebrew language. Ezekiel and Daniel are prophetic books that prophesied after being taken captive to Babylon. Isaiah and Jeremiah prophesied the judgment before their captivity. The let us begin part of Chapter 1 today. ¶ In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah came Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon unto Jerusalem, and besieged it. And the Lord gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, with part of the vessels of the house of God: which he carried into the land of Shinar to the house of his god; and he brought the vessels into the treasure house of his god. (Daniel 1:1-2 KJV) We learned in 2 Chronicles. King Necho of Egypt invaded the southern kingdom of Judah and dethroned their King Jehoahaz. And after establishing his brother Eliakim as the king of Judah, he changed his name to Jehoiakim. This is in 2 Chronicles 36:3, verse 4. Jehoiakim was a puppet king backed by the Egyptian forces. 2 Kings 23:37 and (2 Chronicles 36:5 KJV) says that ‘Jehoiakim did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD his God.‘ It is recorded in 2 Kings 23:35 that the king forcibly collected silver and gold by taxing the land to prepare tribute to be sent to Egypt. The reason Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon invaded Judah in 2 Kings 24 was because of all the sins of Manasseh, son of King Hezekiah, according to 2 Kings 24:3. Manasseh was the successor to King Hezekiah and the great-grandfather of Jehoiakim. Unlike his predecessor, Hezekiah, he committed countless evil sins and crimes that were atrocious to God. He killed many prophets during his 50 years of reign. However, because he finally repented, there was no judgment in his days. Instead, God handed Judah over to Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon for the punishment of the wicked sins committed by the kings of Judah. Three years after Jehoiakim ascended to the throne by Egyptian Pharaoh King Necho, Judah was invaded by Nebuchadnezzar. Nebuchadnezzar’s invasion of Judah didn’t end with just this once. Even after Jehoiakim was taken bound in fetters into Babylon, and his son Jehoiachin ascended the throne at the age of eight, three months later Nebuchadnezzar invaded again and took King Jehoiachin captive to Babylon. This also appears in Ezekiel and Jeremiah. Zedekiah succeeded Jehoiachin. This last king was also invaded by Nebuchadnezzar after 9 years, and after holding out for 3 years, Jerusalem was eventually sieged by Babylon. Because Zedekiah rebelled against Babylon and turned to Egypt, Jerusalem was completely captured. They all fell for the false prophecy of “No one can take us out of the cauldron” However, in reality, all but some of the meat in the cauldron were taken captive. It was when King Jehoiachin was invaded by Babylon that Daniel also became a captive. Daniel was captured along with three young Jewish men, and we can see that they learned Babylonian teachings and language in the royal palace according to Nebuchadnezzar’s order. Daniel 1 begins with the very impoverished era of the kingdom of Judah. Verse 1 mentions the fact of the invasion of Babylon by King Nebuchadnezzar. Verse 2 explains very briefly what Nebuchadnezzar did when he invaded Judah. After entering Jerusalem, Nebuchadnezzar captured bound Jehoiachin, king of Judah, entered the temple, and plundered the vessels of the house of God. It is not recorded in detail what vessels he plundered, but among the vessels in the temple there were golden candlesticks, a table set with showbread, and an altar of incense. However, it is clear that they did not take the Ark of the Covenant. How do we know? When the book of Revelation was written, Revelation 11:19 says when Apostle John ascended to the third heaven in the Spirit, the temple of God was opened in heaven and he clearly saw the ark of his covenant in the temple. The ark ascended to the third heaven by God’s power. It cannot be done with human strength. Since the Bible says that there is one Ark of the Covenant, and it is certain that Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon could not touch the Ark of the Covenant since the Ark of the Covenant is said to be in heaven. Movies like Raiders of the Lost Ark depict spirits, flames and bolts of energy being released from within the Ark killing nearby people. Some archaeologists claim to have found the Ark of the Covenant, but we must rely all our info on the Bible. You must know that only the words of the Bible are true. The fact that Nebuchadnezzar took all the vessels from the temple is also recorded in 2 Chronicles 36:7. The fact that the holy articles of the temple of God were plundered by a gentile nation and moved to a dirty temple serving a pagan god was the greatest shame for the Israelites. From then on, Israel is still being humiliated. (Daniel 1:3-5 KJV) And the king spake unto Ashpenaz the master of his eunuchs, that he should bring certain of the children of Israel, and of the king’s seed, and of the princes; Children in whom was no blemish, but well favoured, and skillful in all wisdom, and cunning in knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king’s palace, and whom they might teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans. And the king appointed them a daily provision of the king’s meat, and of the wine which he drank: so nourishing them three years, that at the end thereof they might stand before the king. Notice the phrase and of the king’s seed in verse 3. We know that Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah in verse 6 are among the grandsons and great-grandsons of certain kings after King Hezekiah of Judah. Because the prophet Isaiah said: And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, which thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall
6-11-2023 Sunday Sermon Message Meditations of the Week: Psalm 91:1-16 Text: Revelation 18:1-13 Word title: Come quickly out of the WEA and WCC member churches of the whore Babylon the Great! The Bible says Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. (Revelation 18:2 KJV) For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. (Revelation 18:3 KJV) God is saying that Babylon the Great became a fornicator and made the kings of the earth and the merchants rich. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. (Revelation 18:4 KJV) The Lord speaks of this woman as a great whore: ¶ And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: (Revelation 17:1 KJV) He also tells of what many waters she sits on: And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. (Revelation 17:15 KJV) He also tells us how she is adorned: And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. (Revelation 17:4-5 KJV) Apostle John goes on and testifies she killed Israelites and Christians to the point of getting drunk with their blood: And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. (Revelation 17:6 KJV) The angel who appeared to the Apostle John spoke of the woman as a city: And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth. (Revelation 17:18 KJV) Just by the words we have heard so far, we can realize that this is the great whore, the Church of Rome, that has persecuted and murdered the Jews and the Church of God, the bride of Christ, for the past 2,000 years. It is also easy to see that this city is the Vatican, the great city in Rome. A whore is a woman who commits adultery with another man even though she has a husband. Ever since the Council of Nicaea, the Roman Catholic Church fornicated with the Babylonian paganism and created a mixed religion that was no longer Christianity, persecuting and killing Bible-believing Christians and Jews for the past 2,000 years. Church history taught in modern seminaries is pro-Catholic, so all the atrocities they have committed before God in the past 2000 years are all covered up. Martin Luther carried out the Reformation over 500 years ago, and since then many Protestant churches, including the Presbyterian Church, have appeared, but the Roman Catholic Church still dominates all Protestant churches. The whore, Babylon the Great that the Lord showed to Apostle John is the picture of the Roman catholic church committing fornication with Antichrist during the great tribulation. WCC (World Council of Churches), WEA (World Evangelical Alliance), and NCC (National Council of Churches) are the final pieces the Church of Rome has made to cause the God’s church participate in her whoredom. Unfortunately, most of the churches of the world are following their denomination’s decision to join this obscene organization of harlots. Members include Assyrian Church of the East, the Oriental Orthodox Churches, most jurisdictions of the Eastern Orthodox Church, the Old Catholic Church, the Lutheran churches, the Anglican Communion, the Mennonite churches, the Methodist churches, the Moravian Church, Mar Thoma Syrian Church and the Reformed churches, as well as the Baptist World Alliance and Pentecostal churches. Besides these there are more denominations engaging in this whoredom. Even though the Church of God is the bride of Christ Jesus, it is betraying the only Lord Jesus Christ and committing whoredom along with other religions, sympathizing with them, even communism, homosexuality, and other anti-discrimination laws. The Lord has made it clear. Babylon the Great A message of warning against churches united with the harlot, the Church of Rome: And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. (Revelation 18:4-5 KJV) King Solomon prophesied long ago about the appearance of the whore Babylon the Great in the distant future to deceive the people: ¶ For at the window of my house I looked through my casement, And beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, a young man void of understanding, Passing through the street near her corner; and he went the way to her house, In the twilight, in the evening, in the black and dark night: And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart. (She is loud and stubborn; her feet abide not in her house: Now is she without, now in the streets, and lieth in wait at every corner.) (Proverbs 7:6-12 KJV) ¶ Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth. Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths. For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her. Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death. (Proverbs 7:24-27 KJV) Through the Apostles Paul, John, and Peter, God clearly spoke about the Church of God, which must not become a harlot but become the bride of Christ: According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. ¶ For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 3:10-11 KJV) ¶ Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. (1 John 5:1 KJV) Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:10-12 KJV) Even though you profess to believe in the only Savior, Jesus Christ, and still belong to the WCC, WEA, and NCC denomination churches, you are claiming to be participating in their sins. May all of you respond as you hear the voice of the Lord: Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. Amen! Hallelujah!
Revelation #46- Final Dear Listeners, have you been peaceful in the Lord during the week? We have finally arrived to the final chapter of the final book of the Holy Bible. I thank God for allowing me to search and study His word throughout the weeks. Chapter 22, along with chapter 21, continues with Eternity, the world of eternal life without sin, without tears, and of course an Eternity without the devil. Chapter 22 also spoke of the events that would unfold during Eternity. In fact, verses pertaining to Eternity comes to an end in 22:5. However, from verses 6 to 14, there is a warning once again to the people of the age of tribulation and millennium. Then, in verse 16, another warning is given to those living in the church age. Verse 12 mentions the Second Advent. What we have seen so far is that the Lord returned to earth in chapter 19. In chapter 20 he reigned for a thousand years. In Chapter 21, eternity began. Now, as Revelation 22:5 comes to an end, final exhortations, warning and blessings appear again from verse 6. Let’s read from (Revelation 22:1 KJV) ¶ And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. This water of life is different from the water that comes from the threshold of the temple in Ezekiel 40-48. The water that comes out of the throne in the book of Ezekiel does not match the content of the text as it comes from the Millennial temple. For example, the city of New Jerusalem in chapter 22 is 1,500 miles wide by 1,500 miles in height, but the city in chapter 48 of Ezekiel is 18,000 measures. The sizes are incomparable. Also, in Ezekiel chapters 40-48, the land is divided into 12 tribes, but in chapter 22 there is no division of the land. There is a pure river of clear water of life. Unto the woman of Samaria Our Lord said: …Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. (John 4:13-14 KJV) In Eternity, there will be an actual crystal clear river that flows out of the throne of God and of the Lamb, and this is called the river of water of life. It will flow right out of the throne of God and flow straight down the middle of the street reaching the roots of the trees that grow along the road touch this river. What a wonderful sight! (Revelation 22:2 KJV) In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. Do you remember the words similar to this one found in (Ezekiel 47:12 KJV)? This is the water that will flow from the threshold of the temple during the future millennial kingdom established on earth. And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine. Because the two words in Revelation 22 and Ezekiel 47 are similar, people may confuse them and mistake them for the same verse. However, the leaves in the book of Ezekiel are said to be medicine, and in Revelation 22, the leaves of the tree are said to be for healing the nations. These trees are not the same. We can realize that the model of events in eternity is what happens on earth during the Millennium. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Everything on earth is a model of what is in heaven. The two cities in Ezekiel 44-48 and Revelation 22 are not the same. The city in Ezekiel is a literal earthly temple through which the Levites come and go (Ezekiel 44:15). They have a literal temple in which they worship (Ezekiel 46:1). This literal temple is on a literal land, a divided land on this earth. This is not a heavenly city without a temple in it. The heavenly city has no walls. It was built on land divided into cities of the land, and the borders of the land were named and people could be seen worshiping in the actual temple. You will see that each element is different if you keep the image of this temple in mind and read the Book of Revelation as 21:22 says there is no temple. There are no Levites or sons of Zadok who serve here since there is no temple. The temple in Ezekiel is about 9 miles long, but the city of Revelation in heaven is 1500 miles long. The tree of 22:2 is the tree of life. The tree in Ezekiel is not called the tree of life. It bears twelve fruits, but the Bible does not call it the tree of life. Ezekiel 47:7 says there are many trees on the banks of the river, but it does not say what kind they are. The passages in Ezekiel are about Israel on earth, and we see 4,000 cubits worth of water flowing out of the house of the Lord to the south and trees growing on this side and on the other side of the stream. In Revelation 22:2, there is a river in New Jerusalem, but as a city without a temple, the river in Revelation is in a city that is not built on any land and is not at all on the earth. This is in heaven. In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, This tree is the tree that God forbade Adam when he expelled him from the Garden of Eden. ¶ And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: (Genesis 3:22 KJV) Sinners were cast out of Eden because they would live forever under the curse. But the tree of life will make its appearance again, because Eden will be restored. which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. (Revelation 22:2 KJV) The trees in Ezekiel were for food and their leaves were for medicine, but here it says the tree of life has leaves that heal the nations. These nations refer to nations distinct from Israel. This tree of life can be seen as healing the nations of the saved. Skip ahead to (Revelation 22:14 KJV) Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. (Revelation 21:24 KJV) And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. (Revelation 21:26 KJV) And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it. There will be many peoples on earth in eternity. They will bring their glory and honor through the Twelve Gates to the New Jerusalem. Why twelve gates? Turn to (Deuteronomy 32:7-9 KJV) ¶ Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask thy father, and he will shew thee; thy elders, and they will tell thee. When the most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, God is a divider, not integrator; he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel. For the LORD’S portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance. This is why the nations of the earth were divided into twelve borders. When God looks down upon the nations, he sees twelve nations, each representing one of the twelve tribes of Israel. And a year is twelve months. The number 12 has a meaning. There are also twelve apostles. There are 24 elders in the heavenly throne. The Bible says those who represent the saints of the Old and New Testaments throw down their crowns and worship God. We find similar words in Deuteronomy if we turn to (Acts 17:24-27 KJV) God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: The words of Deuteronomy and Acts are all connected. Times of 12 months. 12 bounds/ borders. The number 12 has a meaning. Through natural revelation, we can see that there are twelve borders on the earth as well, which are very specific twelve borders. First is North America. 2nd, Central America 3rd, South America 4th, Antarctica 5th, The Arctic 6th, Asia 7th, Africa 8th, Australia 9th, West Indies 10th, East Indies 11th, Greenland and 12th Europe. (Revelation 22:3-5 KJV) And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever. This dominion begins during the millennium and continues into eternity. It should be noted how the Millennial Reign leads directly into eternity without apparent interruption. If we live for the Lord on this earth and become rulers in the millennial kingdom, we will become rulers of Eternity. Do you want to enjoy this blessing? This truth must be believed. Faith comes from hearing. Listen to these related words from (Daniel 7:14 KJV) And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not
6-4-2023 Sunday Sermon Message Meditations of the Week: Psalm 91:1-16 Text: Matthew 6:5-13 Word title: Christ’s millennial kingdom revealed in the Disciples’ Prayer In Matthew 5, Jesus, who came as the King of the Jews, proclaimed in advance the constitution of the kingdom that he must conduct in His future Millennial Kingdom. He also went on and taught to pray by going into a closet and shut the door to hear the Father in secret and not to repeat vain repetitions while praying. He also told the disciples what to pray for. Thinking that the content of the prayer they have to say is the Lord’s Prayer, it has been considered a tradition of the churches to this very day to conclude church meetings by vainly repeating the Lord’s Prayer, However, this prayer we know so well is not the Lord’s prayer, but instead the Lord’s disciples’ prayer, the prayer of the disciples. Back then, Jesus spoke about this to His Jewish disciples for His audience was not the Gentiles and it was a time before the Church of God was established. Unto his disciple Timothy the Apostle Paul said: Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (2 Timothy 2:15 KJV) If so, we must learn how to properly divide and study the words of truth. All of God’s words are those spoken by the Holy Trinity unto the Jews, Gentiles, and the Church of God. Then, we need to know to whom the words Jesus spoke in today’s text were addressed. We must know that at that time there were no Gentiles, no Christians who belonged to the Church of God, only Jews. Among the four Gospels, the Gospel of Matthew is about Jesus who came as the King of the Jews. Matthew chapter 1 begins with, ¶ The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham. (Matthew 1:1 KJV) all the way to…Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ. (Matthew 1:16 KJV) for it is the word pertaining to the geneology of the Israeli King. The word Jesus, who is called Christ. means Jesus is the anointed, the prophet, the high priest, and the Messiah of Israel, who will come not only to Israel but also as KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS to establish his kingdom on earth. Jesus said first of all that God is the Father of the Jews and the Holy One, and first of all, to pray for “Thy kingdom come.” It is to meditate deeply on the words of Jesus to the Jews to pray, “Thy kingdom come.” The first kingdom of God established on earth was lost for 4,000 years after the first man, Adam and Eve, were tempted by the serpent and sinned, as the Garden of Eden was taken away by the devil. Although theocratic kingdoms existed in Israel and Judah for a short time, they eventually came under the domination of Babylon and other Gentile nations, and when Jesus appeared in the land of Judea, they were under the domination of Roman empire. Jesus, who appeared as the king of the Israelites chosen by God, told the Jews to pray, “Thy kingdom come.” When Jesus came to the land of Judea, they had no king and were under the rule of the Roman Emperor, Caesar. John the Baptist, born six months before Jesus, preached to the Jews in the Judean wilderness, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. (Matthew 3:2 KJV) In other words, Jesus, the King of the Jews, is their King, repent, believe in Him, and receive Him. However, they did not repent and killed John. Afterward, Jesus too preached, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. (Matthew 4:17 KJV) calling them to repent and receive Himself as He is their King, and to come into the Kingdom He is establishing. However, they did not acknowledge Jesus as their King, the Messiah. Jesus knew ahead of time that they would crucify Him. Knowing this, Jesus said to them in advance: I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. (John 5:43 KJV) Jesus knew that they would receive the Antichrist, who would appear in his name in the distant future, as the Messiah. Knowing this, Jesus told the Jews to pray for the coming of the Kingdom he was about to establish. Looking forward to the establishment of the millennial kingdom of Christ, He taught the disciples to pray, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. (Matthew 6:10 KJV) Just as Satan the Devil has already been cast out of heaven and the will of the Father has been fulfilled in heaven, he will return to earth as the King of kings and Lord of lords to judge the world and throw the Antichrist and the false prophet into the lake of fire (Rev 19:20) Jesus knew in advance that the kingdom he was about to establish would be violently taken from the religious leaders and Jews of his day, and said: And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. (Matthew 11:12 KJV) Jesus knew that the kingdom would be fulfilled when he returned to earth after the Great Tribulation, and he told the Jews to pray, Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. (Matthew 6:10 KJV) Also, to pray,Give us this day our daily bread. (Matthew 6:11 KJV) means He knew that the time would come when Israelites would be driven out into the wilderness and seek daily bread during the Great Tribulation, just as their ancestors did their daily work in the wilderness, because of their sin of not receiving their Messiah, Jesus Christ, and hanging him on the cross. The prophet Jeremiah prophesied that the time would come when they would suffer in the Great Tribulation, the time of Jacob’s trouble: Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it. (Jeremiah 30:7 KJV) Also, unlike the current age of grace, when the age of tribulation arrives, all who are left behind must believe in Jesus and keep the commandments, as Apostle John testified: Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. (Revelation 14:12 KJV) He spoke in advance that during this time, if you do not forgive the sins of others, your sins will not be forgiven, and you must pray to be saved from the evil of being tested by the antichrist and receiving the mark of the beast. When the Lord Jesus Christ establishes His Millennial Kingdom, it will be the only Kingdom on earth. Because of this, Jesus said to all Jews to pray:For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. (Matthew 6:13 KJV) The Lord, who promised and told the Jews to pray for the kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ, predestined that before that day would come, many would be adopted as God’s children without discrimination, whether they be Jews or Gentiles. From the conversation Jesus had with his Jewish disciples after his resurrection, we can learn about the spreading of the gospel of grace over the past two thousand years: And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. ¶ When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. (Acts 1:4-8 KJV) When the disciples asked Jesus, knowing that the kingdom of Christ, which was promised to Israel, would come on the day of Pentecost, the Lord said that He would fulfill it on earth as it was in heaven when He returned to earth two thousand years later. Even today, the Israelites are still waiting for their Messiah to come and establish the promised kingdom of Christ in Jerusalem. Sadly, they still do not know that Jesus is the Christ, their King. This is why we must preach Christ’s gospel of grace (Rom 1:16) to the Jews first. Amen! Hallelujah!
