WHAT JOURNAL SHOULD YOU GET?? Starting with a blank canvas can seem daunting, so guided journals are a great way to start if you feel really overwhelmed. We each with review a guided journal and let you know what to expect, talk about and if they are helpful, what they are best for and overall our thoughts. We will continue doing this to explore different guided journals and we are so excited to share with you, in hopes you will find one that works best for you! In this episode, we will cover a guided self care journal and a five-minute gratitude journal.
The little things in life can truly make a moment that more memorable. Let's talk aboiut how to journal about importnat moments and milestones in your life that allow you to relive them when you revisit the page. Take out that old ticket you saved from your first date and the boarding pass from your first flight. Trust us you're going to need it.
How do you get through change in your life? Change is inevitable and expected in relationships, friendships, living situations, workplace and more, but how do you deal with it in a productive manner? Hear us out, we might have a couple helpful tips and prompts..
How much information can you realistically handle when it comes to your jobs, social relationships, personal goals responsibilities, trauma and so on? How do you manage and organize this information within yourself, in a way that's effective for you to continue living in a healthy manner? This is a main purpose of journaling, but how do you journal about these things to help understand your bandwidth in order to build boundaries for yourself while protecting your peace and growth.
Having perspective is the ability to look outside when it's raining and, instead of complaining, go out and dance in the rain. Life changes and things fall apart. Having perspective through it all, or building an open mind, will allow you to change your mindset and focus on what is important. Through a shift in life, this is when we can learn so much about ourselves and define our values with clarity. Becoming who you want to be is more than defining your values though, it’s about being them.
How do you even begin to create values for yourself? A lot of times it is something we don't think about often, we honestly, just have them. The more you begin to think about your values, the more you continue to grow as a person and challenge yourself. So, how do you want to be challenged? What do you want to do today? Who do you want to tallk to today? Sometimes creating values can be that simple. There are different things your can journal about, prompts if you will, that can help you learn more about yourself while developing and upholding core values.
Around the beginning of every year, you may be writing new resolutions (New Year's Resolutions) and whether you continue them in the next few months is debatable. Let's talk about making big goals that are attainable, still feeling like a wow factor, but that you can come back to and feel really proud of yourself. In this episode, we recap previous goals and resolutions, what to keep in mind when writing new ones, and how to write them that is motivational instead of discouraging or seemingly "too good to be true".
Feeling confident is a process and takes time, work on your self-care routine, healing, creating facts of identity, upholding your core values and boundaries. Confidence is more than what it seems on the surface. Finding your confidence is a process of learning who you are and journaling is a great way to do that. Let's talk about things you can implement into your life to continue building your self-empowerment.
As the cliche goes, "some people come in your life for a reason, some for a season" and we are here to talk through finding closure from people or siturations. Seemingly impossible to find sometimes, it takes time and effort.

Even decisions about what to eat for dinner can be stressful sometimes, and that's okay! Let's talk about how you can be more aware and control indecision through journal entries.

Balance looks different for everyone, so how do you find your balance for your personal and professional life? There's a couple simple ways you can structure journal entries to work on building boundaries, awknowledge emotions, problems and people that may be holding you back in either your personal or professional life. How does journaling improve organization and productivity? Simple lines on a paper can end up being your blueprint for your goals. It helps you romanticize your day and make the simple tasks exciting. All you have to do is start the process of setting your goals, manifesting and actively define your future page by page.
Don’t overthink the entry, just write it. Entries don’t need to be structured, it only needs to make sense to you. Nicole and Jacie discuss simplistic approaches to starting entries, starting with just three words. Journaling can be overwhelming, but it doesn’t need to be, it’s your space.
