Check out my IG Fanpage: https://reurl.cc/jQ2m5M Okay, so picture this: it’s the middle of the night, me and my bestie Jessica are wrapped up in blankets, lying around half-asleep, and just… talking. We started reminiscing about our time backpacking through South America last year. It feels like it was forever ago, but also like it just happened yesterday. It wasn’t one of those picture-perfect vacations. It was messy, exhausting, and honestly? One of the best things we’ve ever done. There were days we couldn’t book a hotel, our phones were dying, we were starving—like, shaking-hungry—but somehow, we kept laughing. We went through a lot: searching for toilets in the middle of nowhere, getting our bookings canceled, altitude sickness hitting us hard, night buses that felt like forever, cars that wouldn’t start, and yes… we didn’t shower for five days straight (don’t judge). And weirdly, that’s where our friendship got really real—when it was just about getting through the day together. We started out as clueless tourists, and ended up kind of like local wildlings. We learned to cover anxiety with jokes, and use each other’s voices to calm the chaos around us. The concept of accomplishment is something I’ve been reflecting on. Is accomplishment derived from success at work, or from achievements in family and career? Or is it from earning a lot of money and gaining rich life experiences?
