Have you created a “cliff notes” sentence for a time in your life?
Sentences like, “I was heartbroken”, “My parents got divorced”, and others, are ones we create to condense our living experience into a short, digestible, way for others. These are also known as a “Mono-Narrative.”
Today, I am sharing with you how to identify what your mono-narrative is and how to change it. While we aren’t able to change the past, we can change the narrative inside our head around the past. I hope this episode inspires you to think about what parts of your narrative need to be rewritten.
In this episode, you will learn:
Why I took a break (0:52)
What a mono-narrative is (1:45)
How to identify what your mono-narrative is (2:57)

What are you worrying about that you cannot control? As an empath, I have felt the emotional toll of different events in recent months.
Do you remember the story of Pandora’s Box? The premise of the ancient story is this: when Pandora opened the box and released evil into the world, she held onto hope and took the action she could. Learning more about this story has reminded me that whatever we place our focus on is what grows, so tap into hope, curiosity, and even some stubbornness.
Today, I share my emotions from the past few months, the lessons that Pandora’s Box taught me, and the thoughts that have helped me recently. I hope this episode reminds you that all you need to do is take the first step to build the momentum you want to see in the world.

“Peace begins with me”
As we head into the New Year, it’s a great time to reflect on the past year and how you want to move forward into this next chapter. We are often influenced by external factors when it comes to our New Year resolutions, but you will be more fulfilled and more likely to achieve your goal if you follow your intuition.
After a year of loss and learning, my goal for this next year is to live in love constantly. As I have thought about how I can accomplish this, I discovered that it begins with inner peace. Only when we achieve peace within ourselves can we truly live and vibrate in love.

Where are your belief systems taking you?
As the end of year is approaching, it is a fantastic time to reflect on what you are putting out into the world. The past year has shown us that humans can become emotionally lazy when it comes to our opinions and judgements, fighting to stand in the box we identify with. When we decide that we believe one thing over another, most often we tend to never challenge it again.
However, when we do take the time to challenge our belief systems and think about other perspectives, our connection to one another grows. Begin to take notice of what is impacting you to form opinions and what topics spark judgement towards others. There is a balance we can work to achieve where we live strong in both our beliefs and our love for others, no matter what differences they may have.
Today, I share my thoughts on how we can ramp it up and live with less emotional laziness.
In this episode, you will learn:
Why I believe humans are emotionally lazy (1:49)
An example of how we will not agree with every other human (3:05)
How judgement impacts our belief system (5:08)
My goal for the future (6:04)

“If you are searching for that one person who can change your life, look in the mirror”
When we are spending our time and energy searching for love, we are relying on someone else to complete us and fulfill our happiness. Being secure in who you are and not depending on anyone else is an incredibly freeing feeling. When you stop looking for you, your relationship with yourself will be stronger and your energy will attract the right people into your life.
Love is not something that is hidden and in need of searching for. The people meant to bring us love into our life will come. Instead of looking for love, begin to understand how you perceive love within your relationships. Learn how you show yourself love through self-care practices and gratitude. I truly believe that when we stop looking for love, we will find it.
Today, I share my thoughts on love and why we should all stop looking for it.
In this episode, you will learn:
That love is not a buried treasure (1:50)

What does the Universe want you to do?
Many of us are overwhelmed by the search for our special contribution to life. However, I believe that the universe isn’t attached to anything you do or your life choices. You have the power to determine what is meaningful to you and what your purpose is. When you point your internal compass to that which brings you happiness and satisfaction, you will be heading toward and discovering what your inner divine light and higher self is wanting to express.
I truly believe that the energy of light shines a little brighter when we are shining in every moment of our day as best as we can. Pay attention to how you feel when you are doing something that makes your heart sing because those moments in life are what you are here to share in the world. These moments may not be what you do for a living but they may be how you do everything while you are living.
Today, I share my thoughts on the journey to discovering our soul’s purpose and how you can live in yours.
In this episode, you will learn:
That the Universe isn’t attached to anything you do (2:29)
To listen to your soul’s song (4:00)

Are you under an illusion?
Sometimes we may believe that we are taking the correct action to reach our goals and dreams, but really we are rocking back and forth without making any progress forward. When we have experienced previous negative life events, trauma, or had our self-confidence broken down, we tend to believe the negative voice in our head which holds us back in the past. It’s time to let go of your insecurities that are keeping you from moving forward in your life.
I believe that we all are born with a divine light inside of us. However, I find it tragic that many of us are going through life hiding our light under a veil of insecurities caused by our old pain. It is our task to free ourselves from the weight of the insecurities that we continue to believe. When you hear the insecurities arise within your self-talk, ask yourself if you want to carry that negativity with you or if you want to show up in your life radiating positivity. Our negative self-talk can be a way that we hide from the responsibility to shine our divine light. Sing your unique song!
Today, I share with you my insights on insecurities and how they may be causing you to be under an illusion of progress.
In this episode, you will learn:
If you are under an illusion (1:44)
How we hide our light (3:27)
What to do when your insecurities come up (5:42)
To set free your gifts (7:00)

Can you recall a time when you were forced to wait and be patient?
Typically, we want what we want and we want it now. The seductive promise of instant gratification often outshines the value of waiting. Waiting may seem like a waste of time or a passive action that doesn’t get anything done, but richer results tend to come when you let time unfold in the way it’s supposed to.
When you are waiting for something, you are forced to give up control, be patient, and let go of your own agenda. Trust the timing of the Universe and allow everything to unfold in divine timing. When you wait, you become an observer and can obtain a deeper grasp of self-awareness by examining your needs and wants. Next time you find yourself in a situation of waiting, I challenge you to embrace the art of waiting and see what results come from it.
Today, I share with you my thoughts on waiting and how it provides better results than pushing your own agenda.
In this episode, you will learn:
How instant gratification allures us (1:07)
That waiting requires you to give up control (2:45)
Why richer results come from waiting (4:22)
That waiting does not mean inaction (6:02)

"We are not held back by the love we didn't receive in the past, but by the love we're not extending in the present" - Marianne Williamson
Have you ever played that game where you're pulling the petals of a daisy out, and you're thinking, "He/She loves me, he/she loves me not", and whatever petal you end up on, is a prediction of your future love?
When we're children, we believe that it's that easy. However, as we grow up and we experience a number of heartbreaks before we find the one, we come to the realization that there's more to it than the petals of a flower. Everything we experience is there to teach us a lesson, and each heartbreak is a path to self-love, self-growth, self-awareness, and wisdom.
Today, I share with you how you first need to learn to love yourself before you can find your lifetime companion, and why heartbreaks are necessary in our self-development. You will also hear my parents' love story, and how they took their vows, in sickness and in health, seriously.
In this episode, you will learn:

We all go through a self-love journey throughout our lives. Over the past few months, I have been working with many clients who struggle with understanding and coming to terms with their past, resulting in a cycle of blame and self-consciousness.
As I’ve been thinking about self-love a lot, it has become clearer and clearer that it is the key to success and happiness. If you are constantly accusing yourself of things from your past that you believe caused - or didn’t cause - things to go the way you wanted in their life, it’s important to take time and action to stop the cycle of blame.
If you are struggling with self-love, remember, it’s not your fault. Forgive your inner child and understand that your wounds from the past do not define you and you can leverage them to bring you success.
In this episode, you will learn:
The importance of self-love (0:47)
That it’s not your fault (1:29)
