 Building Intrinsic Motivation The world has changed dramatically over the decade. Flexible working has been introduced along with the rapid rise of social networks. This means finding the motivation to stay productive is more important than ever. This podcast breaks down the fundamentals of motivation, and how to stay productive. On a personal level, when I’m working on a boring, difficult or tedious task, I find that understanding how the brain’s thought process is linked to motivation helps me peace together why procrastination or negative thoughts exist. I’d love to hear from you. Burnout is a reaction to chronic job stress, characterized by exhaustion leaving employees disengaged from their role. Burnout is much more than ‘work stress’ and doesn’t just happen overnight.
