Today we discuss how self-sabotage shows up just as we’re about to go to the next level.
I was in an unhealthy relationship with a man who reminded me daily that I wasn’t anything close to healthy...or his dream girl. Emotional abuse is no joke- he tried to destroy me, but it only made me stronger. Ladies, after going on an intense personal journey, I am now in the healthiest relationship of my life! Every time I look at this man, I cry with gratitude at how fucking blessed I am. Today in the Podcast, we share with you how two people who came from abusive relationships handle disagreements despite our crazy triggers! We’re not here to hold anything back. Enjoy the episode!
I had the pleasure of interviewing Men's Behavior Change Specialist, Jon Alcon on Imperfectly Vibrant’s podcast. We talked about communication in our relationships with men, what it takes to find and motivate a caring, loving man in our life, how to overcome ANYTHING and EVERYTHING to reach our goals, and I asked him this juicy question just for you: What do men really want in a relationship? I LOVE bringing you new perspectives and inspiration on my podcast as well as sharing raw imperfect stories of people just like you and I who started from humble beginnings, came from struggle, unsupportive relationships, and are still making every sing one of their dreams come true. Jon is on a mission to lead a world of a different kind of man, one who isn’t influenced by the outside world but one who is internally sourced, one who is strong physically, mentally and emotionally. One who realizes he is put here for a much bigger purpose than himself. Coming from the fitness world he has helped hundreds of people lose hundreds of pounds and he realized, that was only touching the surface. He teaches that in order to reach the next level in life we need transformation much deeper than just the physical body. True transformation comes from within and we need to stop seeking external sources to try and “fix” us. Through self discovery after going through a lifetime of his own self-sabotage he realized that fitness is not what he is here for. After becoming a certified Behavior Change Specialist he decided to create “Gratitude Equals Greatness” which is his vehicle to change the world of men. - Jon helps MEN BOLDLY step into their PURPOSE and become the MAN they're meant to BE in order to PROVIDE physically, mentally and emotionally for themself and their family. You can find Jon Alcon on FaceBoon, YouTube, and Instagram @JonAlcon and learn more about his programs at www.JonAlcon.com.
