Welcome to In Range, a candid conversation with Max Domi and Andrew Koutnik — best friends, and fellow Type 1 Diabetics. In this first episode, we’ll dive head first into Max and Andrew’s T1D diagnosis stories, uncovering the basics of what T1D is from the lense of both personal anecdotes and science (with a touch of humour), and ultimately learning why they feel so inspired to share their stories with you all.
It’s no secret that managing life and relationships with Type 1 Diabetes is filled with challenges — from dealing with the disease’s affects on sleep and travel to managing exercise and being a good partner, friend and family member in between it all. In this next episode, we’ll dive into the personal side of Max and Andrew’s T1D stories, hearing first hand anecdotes of how they best optimize their lifestyles to maintain balance and stay in range.
