Episode 52Welcome To Season Two!We are so happy to be back with new episodes, fresh guests and honest conversation in season two of our podcast. Rerooting in habits and committing to some self-care that was maybe put on the back burner in the busy Summer months. Seasonal changes are real and allowing yourself to shift with them can feel very natural. In this week's episode we talk about just that. The seasonal shift, slide, step and all the opportunities that come with them!
We can easily get in our own way with the goals that we have both in the gym and with our nutrition. Am I Good or Bad?
How many times have you said, "I was "good this week and bad this weekend" when it comes to what you ate? Most of us have been on that roller coaster at one time, where we connect what and when we eat to our self-worth, will power, success and more. This week we talk about how that mindset is the furthest thing from your truth and actually keeps us stuck. We chat about why this common belief gets in our way on how we care and express kindness to ourselves which translates to our food, movement, self-care habits. We talk ways to shift this mindset so you believe you are a worthy human regardless of what you ate. Instead of the "good or bad" being your focus, begin to recognize how your food choices make you feel...not create the illusion that they define who you are. There is so much freedom in that!
