In this episode I'm walking you through the 5am morning routine I’ve been committed to for the last two weeks. I'll explore the idea of getting better habits, increasing your core beliefs and what it is in our brains that seem to hold us back when trying to inhabit a new way of life. I'll explain how my morning routine has helped me develop self-discipline, confidence and self respect and how freedom within the structure and presence in the moment occurs when you're not wasting brainpower taking decisions.
In this Episode I’m joined by Lewis Durrant to dicuss one of life's biggest questions; What is our purpose? What is the purpose of our lives and what happens when it goes 'wrong'? Is our purpose predestined and why do we choose to pursue it? Finding and following our purpose is a common conversation topic in this day and age, so today on 'Life & the Lottery' we dive right into it, and explore the many nuances the little word, yet big concept, has to offer.
I this journal episode I follow up on how my new morning routine unfolded in the last three days, what my morning routine is and how my life already has improved from it. Turning my phone off in the morning has been really lovely, and staying away from social media for a while has really helped me find some peace to focus on myself and my personal growth. I'm loving sharing this self-care adventure with you guys. Much love :)
In this episode I discuss; starting a morning routine and what the benefits are of starting one. I touch on why it is important to keep an open heart and acknowledge areas where we want to grow. Daring to be vulnerable and believe that you deserve all the good that life has to offer, seems is essential to our well being. Practicing self love and care, and not being hard on ourselves helps us to evolve to a place where we can be there for ourselves and each other.
In this episode hilariously entertaining Leigh White humbly tells his story of how he came to London 20 years ago with 20 pounds in his pocket, got his first job and turned his whole life around to now being a pub chain owner. With his entrepreneurial spirit, he’s now also taken on comedy, which looks nothing less than promising given his comedic talent. In this hour of power he explains how the power of belief and the law of attraction has given him everything he wanted and set out to, and shares the most unbelievable, synchronised events that has happened first in his mind, and then in reality. Sit back and enjoy as Leigh White cracks tommy aching jokes, explains how logic isn't the answer, and shares his truest beliefs on how you can make anything happen with the power of your mind.
In this episode I'm joined by Mo AKA PRYNNE; a fantastic songwriter, producer and graphic designer to discuss songwriting, authenticity and why staying curious keeps us feeling alive. Diving in to different dimensions, quite literally, both heart chakras and the topic of past lives are on the agenda. Are we driven by passion or succes? How do we find spiritual gain instead of material gain? Why and what do we fear as artists? Join this episode as Mo unleash her innermost thought and epiphanies on being connected to your intuition, 'surfing the day' and how to stay stay true in a seemingly fake world today. https://www.instagram.com/prynnewaves/
In this episode I'm going in depth about how we can forgive ourselves and other people, and why it is so important. What does it mean to heal from the past? And why do I need to? Explaining why forgiveness is really self-forgiveness, and how holding on to anger, regret, guilt and judgement is actually blocking our ability to see clearly and live the life we are meant to live, with the people who are meant to be in it.
In this episode artist, Lewis Durrant, lets us into his world of art and spirituality, and reveals where he finds motivation to create paintings that has sold, and continue to sell, all over the world. With several exhibitions in LA under his belt, and being nominated the 'One to Watch' artist by Saatchi Art, Lewis shares his secrets on how important it is to be selfless in the creative process, and why having an objective to serve others is essential to achieve succes.
The greatest paradox is that when we really want to be doing great, that is the time when we need to relax the most to get the result we desire. In this episode we are dealing with ongoing pressure, personal triggers and how we often react from past trauma instead of acting to what is happening in front of us. Not taking things personal and at the same time constantly improving and healing yourself, seems to be the ultimate solution and the perfect balance for healthy relationships. So, in this episode I ask; Can we act instead of react and stay true to ourselves?
When we escape reality don't we really just put it off to deal with it at a later stage in our lives? After all, no matter how we try to avoid our current circumstances, it is still going to be there when we open our eyes again? In the fourth episode on Life and the Lottery I talk about how waking up early makes you feel purposeful, how drinking hinders clarity in our vision, how pushing through fear and embracing uncertainty, eventually leads us to take the leap of faith we've been longing for. When life makes us want to look the other way, should we face it or escape it?
In the third episode of Life & the Lottery I'm going in depth with how we can chase our dreams in a healthy way without it becoming obsessive. I talk about how hard work and consistency ultimately becomes an illusion when we genuinely love what we do, and we find the balance between belief, action and the law of attraction. I Investigate the epiphany of how; Living your life to the fullest and acknowledging every step of the way, will not only make you happy today, but is also what ultimately leads you to success.
In the second episode on Life & lottery, I'm talking about living with passion, finding true purpose and how serving other people selflessly fills us with joy and happiness. I recently rediscovered what it feels like to be truly passionate about a new project and how, fearlessly, pushing forward without worrying about the outcome, anchors us in the present moment. I explore how the world opens up when we dare to let go of control and we become our own best friend. Finally, I share a lottery tip on how I thrive during lockdown, and how spending time by yourself can be a truly empowering experience.
In this first ever episode on Life & the Lottery, I, your host; Josephine, will take you on a stream of consciousness about how to be present in life and thereby live more in a state of peace. I'm going to talk about how we can stop worrying all together and how Eckhart Tolle's book; 'The Power of Now' completely changed my life. I'm very excited about starting this project and be able to share everything I've learned with you on my spiritual journey about life and finally; what it means to win the lottery.
