To build a legacy we have to build a solid foundation of values, standards, leadership, and expectations of ourselves and the people around us. We have the responsibility to pass those values on to others. As a leader you have the opportunity to impact other people. You’re influencing several generations right now and most importantly the next generation.
This week we talk with Fitness and nutrition Coach Travis Darr of Darr Fitness. He is going to talk about why health and fitness is important in leadership. I’m addicted to the process of becoming a better person. Travis talks about the decision to change and the habits we have to create to become that better version of ourselves so we can better lead the ones around us.
We will talk about adversity and how we need to look at it. It can help grow us and forge us to be great people and great leaders. No chance we avoid adversity in life especially in leadership. So we have to decide now on what mindset we have to have to make it through adversity. Are we going to have a victim mindset or are we going to face adversity with a winners mindset knowing we can and will make it through on the other side and grow from it?
We will talk about the importance of relationships in leadership. Relationships are the key element to leading any exceptional team. Leadership requires relationships with people around you. Relationships are critical fo a strong team. They critical when you are leading yourself, your family, and in your career. We will talk about our ego. We will talk about how to getter those relationships and ways to create relationships.
This week we will talk about a winning mindset which is a leaders mindset. Plan to have a winning mindset. Everyone has hopes and dreams but they need a plan. This week we will talk about what that looks like, we will talk about how to face challenges and adversity. Challenges and adversity create opportunity, opportunity to grow. Challenges grow us and shape us. We have to have the right mindset to overcome these challenges and win.
This week we will talk about those old habits and how hard they are to break. We will talk about how to create good habits to create a positive leadership mindset to be the best leaders for ourselves and the ones around us.
