Anarcho-Preneur episode 013
You are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with. That's what Jim Rohn said, and I think he was on to something.
This episode is all about consciously choosing your community, and why it's so important in building the life and world that you want to live in. I talk about some of the mistakes people make when building their tribe. I also talk about some of my own mistakes in this area. What happens when you don't take an active role in who surrounds you? And how do you break free from the wrong crowd?
Then, in the second half of the show, I delve into some Game Theory concepts and how they relate to society and voting. What happens when people make decisions without knowing all of the facts? What happens when those decisions are turned into laws?
I think there is a very compelling argument for why voting is the worst possible way to run a society. It all comes back to voluntary association. You should choose your life and tribe. And this episode will teach you why, and how to do it effectively. Download.

Anarcho-Preneur Episode 001
Are you making a splash? Being an individual means that you are one of a kind. Most of us in liberty understand the value of individuality, but we never capitalize on it. This week, I get into the idea of how important it is to set yourself apart. Do you want to be just another face in the sea of liberty activists? Do you want to be the producer of yet another widget that nobody really cares about? Not me, and I'm betting, not you, either. I look at how some of the biggest name activists have successfully created a differentiator for themselves, and I explain how this could also translate into your personal and business life, as well. Are you struggling to get sales or grow your community? Are you finding that your reach on social media is not working as well as it used to? Are you tired of always chasing the newest shiny object when it comes to connecting with your tribe?
Maybe it's time for you to start an email list.
Maybe you already have, but you're not having the results you desire.
This episode is all about email. How to start and grow your list. How to write emails that get opened. And how to use email as a way to connect with the people you want to connect with.
I've been using email to promote my business and my podcast, for over a year now. Before that, I helped small business get going with their own email campaigns. I know what works, and what doesn't. And in this episode, I share it all with you. Download.

Anarcho-Preneur Episode 026
As a business owner, I know how important it is to know my customers, inside and out. As a privacy activist, I know how important it is to protect what little privacy we have left. This is the struggle you deal with as liberty-minded entrepreneur.
Cris Janzten, of the Scritch Show, joins me to have a crazy discussion. We talk about marketing in the 21st century. But that is just the tip of the iceberg. The conversation quickly goes into conspiracy theory land.
Chris is just starting out with email marketing for his own podcast. He’s also about to launch an Amazon store. And he’s about to face some internal conflicts.
We talk about some of these conflicts. We also talk about how a deeper knowledge of something can change your outlook on it. By walking a mile in someone else’s shoes, you can grow to appreciate things you once considered nefarious.
This episode is not for those who don’t feel comfortable questioning their own beliefs.

Anarcho-Prenuer Episode 026
The night is dark and full of terrors. The tribe sits huddled around the fire. And the elder passes on his knowledge to a captive audience.
Without the story, the tribe will die off. They have no books, no written words. They have only the story.
The story teaches them how to survive. It teaches them how to advance. It calls them to action. It drives them forward.
Even now, eons later, the story is the most powerful form of communication we have.
But why?
And how can a good story help you in selling your ideas or selling your products and services?
Tune in to this very powerful episode to understand why stories work, how stories work, and how you can make stories work for you.Download.
Anarcho-Preneur Episode 000
What is Anarcho-Preneur? Is it a podcast that you should be listening to? In this episode I do a little bit of what marketers call "Racking the Shotgun".
As with most Episode Zero's, you'll get to know who I am, and what the show is about. You'll also get an understanding of what value the podcast provides, and whether or not that value is worth an hour of your time each week.
After listening to this introductory episode, you'll have a good idea as to if this is the show for you. If not, that's ok. If so, welcome aboard. Download.
Anarcho-Preneur Episode 025
Can you be too giving? Can a giving nature actually be bad for you and the people around you? It flies in the face of accepted knowledge, but hear me out.
A few weeks back, I did an episode on the Rule of Reciprocity. It basically laid out how if you give first, others will be compelled to give back. But is that always the case?
This week, I look at the flip side of the argument, and explore the importance of setting expectations. When you tell people to expect free stuff from you, what can that lead to? Are there negative consequences to always giving freely?
I'll let you be the judge.Download.
Anarcho-Preneur Episode 023
There are a lot of things that public schools teach us. How to worship authority, how to hate learning, and how to sacrifice your individuality for the collective, just to name a few. But there is one skill that public schools seem to avoid like the plague. And it's probably the most important life skill you could ever learn; How To Sell.
Knowing how to sell yourself, your ideas, your services and your products is vital in todays world. Yet, classes on this important subject are strangely absent in the government schools.
That's why I decided to do this episode. As a copywriter and marketing consultant, selling is what I do. I help people with sales pages, sales funnels, and sales letters. And you'd be surprised how many of today's business owners don't know how to sell.
In this episode, I break down our simple 3 step copy platform that we run through with every new client. It asks 3 simple questions that can really hammer home a selling strategy, where none existed before. If you're struggling with getting sales, it's probably because you don't have a clear idea of how to sell. This episode will help you lay the foundation of your copy platform, and make life a whole lot easier, from there.

Anarcho-Preneur Episode 023
You probably have something wonderful to offer the world, but selling might not come natural. I know it took me a long time to get to the point where I felt good about asking for payments for my services. But, if you want to succeed, you need fuel for your mission, and that fuel comes in the way of sales.
This episode is all about changing the frame you view sales in, which will result in it being a lot easier for you to make them. Most of our chains are mental, and this is as true in selling as it is in any other area of life. And so, I present to you, 3 Mindset Shifts That Increase Your Sales.
1.) Understand difference between manipulation and persuasion.
Manipulation is when the other party regrets their decision.
Persuasion is when the other party rejoices in their decision.
2.) Both Parties Win!
Subjective value means selling is not a not a win/lose deal.
In a fair trade, both parties leave better than they came.
3.) If you have value to provide, you have an obligation to sell it.
If you can save the world, you had better let us buy your solution. You owe at least that much to us.
Even if you can only offer a to cure boredom, if you don’t let people know about it, you're doing them a disservice.

Anarcho-Preneur Episode 022
Have you ever felt obligated to do something for someone, merely because they had first done something for you? We all have. Well, unless you're a sociopath, that is.
Think of a time you wanted to say no to something, but begrudgingly agreed because you felt you owed it to the other person to say yes. Now ask yourself, has this way of thinking ever been used against me, as a way to manipulate me?
It probably has. But does that mean that the inert desire to give when we have received is a bad thing? Absolutely not. Most of us feel the need to repay debts and bring balance to the universe. This is part of makes the human race so prosperous.
In this episode, I get into understanding the nature of reciprocity, and what it means in todays modern world. You'll get a clear understanding of how it can be used to persuade people to buy what your selling, through what is commonly known as Content Marketing. This can be a great way of providing value before you ask someone to make a purchase, and we explore how to use this strategy in a moral way. But there is a Dark Side to this force, and we explore that, as well.
Some people, from big business, to politicians, to parasitic friends and family members, will use this knowledge to manipulate and control others. You'll discover how to determine when this is happening, and how to protect yourself from becoming its victim.

Is there a deeper meaning to the old phrase "Mind Your Business"? Of course, nobody likes a tattletale, and gossip is often frowned upon, but does it go deeper than that? Can the inability to mind your own business actually affect your ability to successfully run your own business?
In this episode, I look at the top 7 reasons that minding your own business is vital to success in life, work, and society. Each of the following points will be expanded on in greater detail, in the podcast. Make sure you give it a listen, to fully grasp each one.
1. Gossip is a habit of the unsuccessful.
This has been tested and proven.
2. It makes you look insecure.
If you don't appear to be secure in yourself, how will others view you?
3. Stupid beef only feeds the other side.
"Look, if I shoot you, I'm brainless. But if you shoot me, then you're famous." - Jay-Z
4. The energy you waste focusing on someone else, is energy you can't focus on meeting your own goals.
Energy flows where attention goes.
5. Don't be focused on a fixed pie, practice abundance.
Don't worry about your neighbors bowl, unless it's to make sure they have enough to eat.
6. Lessons from the animal kingdom.
Lions don’t worry about the opinions of sheep.
And finally,
7. Winners focus on winning, haters focus on winners.
'Nuff said!

Anarcho-Preneur episode 018
Do you ever struggle with getting people to see your point of view? Don’t worry, we all do. And the more abstract your idea, or the more expensive your product, the more difficult getting to Yes becomes. Fortunately, there are a few best practices when it comes to selling people on your services, products, or ideas.
In this episode, I go over some of the fundamentals needed for negation, for persuasion, and for winning people over. If you are tired of trying to convince people of things that could help them, and always hitting brick walls, the tips in this episode will help you escape that pattern.
The five simple steps that I cover in this episode are:
1. Not everybody is a good fit. Don’t try to make everyone love you, your message, or your product.
2. Don’t pull a bait and switch. Just be yourself.
3. Only fools rush in. Know how to take people from cold to warm, and from warm to hot.
4. Start with the easy Yes, work toward the harder Yes. Start where your maps overlay.
5. Treat people how THEY want to be treated, not how YOU want to be treated.
Enjoy.
