The UFC ACTUALLY DID IT! They finally got rid of PPV. This effectively means in the US, you are no longer go to have to spend over a thousand dollars a year if you want to legit buy every PPV and get a subscription of ESPN+ in order to do so. Paramount Plus has paid a crazy amount to essentially get rid of UFC PPVs for the next 7 years and pretty much forever if this goes well.
We all know of the fighters like Brock Lesnar or even Alex Pereira that got their UFC title shots extremely quickly thanks to the support of the UFC brass. In this video, we talk about the ones that for one reason or another were actually held back from their opportunity, in some cases by the UFC for people like Tom Aspinall or with Khamzat Chimaev against Dricus Du Plessis, well it was just a lot. Either way, they were all held back for extremely long periods of time.

Max Holloway absolutely showed out last night, defended that BMF championship and deserves all the credit in the world. For Dustin Poirier, he put on a vintage performance win or lose and retiring in a way that few still do, while fighting the best at the top of the division. Credit to the UFC for handling this one well, but of course it couldn't be done without the incredible career of Dustin's. What a fight, what a career, what a legend.
