Chad Hermansen interviews Josh Booty who is one of only a few athletes who has played in the MLB and NFL. Josh was drafted in the 1st round in 1994 MLB draft by the Florida Marlins to a then record 1.6 million dollars to buy him out of playing college football at LSU.
He shares his story about being the best shortstop and high school prospect in the country and what that was like for him and how he handled it.
Once drafted, he had his ups and downs in the minors and shares how difficult it is to stay consistent. He continues with his MLB story and what prompted him to hang up the spikes and go play college football which will lead him to playing for Coach Nick Saban at LSU and into the NFL.
