In Hollywood, directed Rob Reiner and his wife Maria were brutally slaughtered by their own son, Nick. The president of the United States, Donald Trump, as soon as the news broke, immediately took to social media to roundly mock his enemy one last time, while exalting himself. That act being nearly as cold as the murder itself. In our government, it is nearly impossible to believe any news coming out of any agency by either party, with each side accusing the other of lies and coverups. Speaking of coverups, the Epstein Files will not have a full release today as Democrats and Republicans continue waging war to keep the files hidden. Looks like the Epstein Transparency Act is not so transparent after all, with Pam Bondi being threatened with jail time for covering them up. Turning Point USA has officially launched civil war against itself as the House of Kirk threatens to topple over. What do all these things have in common? Behind all of it is one common thread, the spirit of the man of sin who is about to be revealed, stirring up trouble and turning people against each other. The game is almost over, Christian, and it’s time for you to get in it.

In the movie ‘Civil War’ that shows a 21st century America ripped apart by insurgents and ideology, we watch as a militia soldier interrogates a group of Liberal journalists, asking each of them one-by-one a question. “What kind of American are you?”, he says. The reply comes back “American”. The soldier then asks “What kind of American?” The entire movie is a fairly mediocre melodrama with the exception of that one scene, that nailed it. What kind of American are you? That means activism, protest, and dissent risk being treated as potential terrorism. Many may self-censor, reduce activity, avoid controversial causes, or even shut down under pressure. For the broader society, it risks normalizing “pre-crime” policing of ideology, association, and funding — rather than punishing only actual criminal actions. When the Lord instituted the seven feasts in Leviticus 23, He gave Israel a prophetic calendar that not only marked their national life but laid out, in exact order, the future timeline of the First and Second Advents of Jesus Christ. The seventh of these feasts, the Feast of Tabernacles, stands out as the great concluding celebration—a picture of joy, harvest, and God dwelling among His people.“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” John 1:14 (KJB)On this episode of Rightly Dividing, because it is the seventh feast, it speaks of completion—and nothing is more complete than the finished work of Christ at His First Advent and the future restoration at His Second. To understand Tabernacles properly, we apply the Law of First Mention, which sets the foundation for how a subject develops throughout Scripture. The first time we encounter this feast is in Exodus 23:16, where it is called “the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year.” Immediately we see three themes: ingathering, ending, and completion. God is showing us that Tabernacles marks a final harvest and a time of rejoicing in His presence and provision. The first mention of the tabernacle itself also reinforces this. In Exodus 25:9, God commands Moses to build a sanctuary “that I may dwell among them.” This is the heartbeat of the Feast of Tabernacles—God dwelling with man. In the wilderness, God’s presence was visible in cloud and fire above the Tabernacle; but this was not the final fulfillment. It was a picture, a shadow, a type pointing forward to something far greater.

Make no mistake about it, when you die you will go to one of two places, either Heaven or Hell. All people born into this world have the same starting point, this is the true equality of all men. Heaven is a literal place, and so is Hell. People don’t go to Heaven because they are good, neither do people enter into Hell because they are bad. You are either saved or lost. Saved people go to Heaven and the unsaved into Hell. Let me be crystal-clear about one thing. People do not wind up in Hell because God failed or refused to saved them, not at all. People wind up in Hell because they have refused the salvation God provides us in Jesus Christ on the cross.

Whatever the truth is, one thing’s for sure. Rand Paul, R-Ky., said during an Oct. 26 appearance on Fox News Sunday. “This is akin to what China does, what Iran does with drug dealers − they summarily execute people without presenting evidence to the public. So it’s wrong.” Should Pete Hegseth be accountable for his orders to kill all these people? He absolutely should if you believe in the rule of law upon which America was founded.
