Hiiii! Long time no chat! I’ve missed sitting down to record, but life has been lifing these past couple of months. This episode is a little different—it’s more of a catch-up and gab session because honestly, there’s just so much to fill you in on.We’re talking everything from starting a new job at a tattoo shop, wedding planning chaos (DIY-Bride over here), bachelorettes, birthdays, concerts, and all the puzzle pieces of life that have been falling into place. July through September has been a whirlwind of forward motion, and now that I’m looking back, I can’t believe how much has happened in such a short time.So grab your coffee (or wine—no judgment here) and let’s catch up!
Hello and welcome back to another episode of Nevertheless, Shlee Persisted! This week, we’re chatting all things transition, transformation, and tiny joys. It’s shaping up to be the year of exploration—and I’m learning to lean into the discomfort, because that’s where the growth happens. From singing in a couple of cabarets to starting a new job, things are shifting fast, but I’m trying to stay grounded in the rituals and the comfort movies that feel like home.Let’s get into the mess, the magic, and the meaning behind it all.As always, you can find me on Instagram @neverthelessshleepersisted xoxo
Hello and welcome back to Nevertheless, Shlee Persisted! In this week’s episode, I’m inviting you into my world of rejection—as painful as it sometimes feels, it’s the very fuel that refines our resilience. Sometimes, it’s found in pausing, feeling the full spectrum of emotions, and trusting that each moment is assembling the big picture of our lives.Join me as I unpack the life lessons hidden within rejection and celebrate its unexpected gift.As always, you can find me on Instagram @neverthelessshleeperisted xoxo
Hello and welcome back to Nevertheless, Shlee Persisted! This week’s episode is part gratitude list, part existential ramble, and full-on heart. I’m recapping the girl gab-filled getaway that brought me back to the phrase that’s been echoing in my mind: We’re on no timeline. It started as a joke, but it’s slowly becoming a mantra. It’s officially June, and in true mid-year fashion, I’m reflecting hard. From quitting a job that didn’t fit, booking Waitress, losing and regaining parts of myself, to starting the job search again—I’m feeling the pressure of figuring it all out... with no clear timeline in sight. But here's what I'm learning: action kills fear, clarity is coming, and my sparkle isn’t gone—it just needs a little recharge.Let’s talk community, creative pivots, and giving ourselves grace in the uncertainty. Because even when the plan feels fuzzy, the breakthrough is brewing. As always, you can find me on Instagram @neverthelessshleepersisted xoxo
Hello and welcome back to Nevertheless, Shlee Persisted. This week’s episode is part gratitude list, part brain dump, and full of heart. Let’s chat all things espresso martini, my hair that just keeps growing despite the constant temptation to cut it, and the nostalgic magic of train-car diners. We’re also switching things up by leaning into vlogging. Day by day, I’m easing back into a routine, and it’s definitely a work in progress. One idea that’s been bubbling up lately is something I’m calling small acts of rebellion. It started with a moment on the subway where I realized how much I’ve been shrinking myself — physically, emotionally — and decided it’s time to take up space again. I have a feeling these tiny, intentional moments of defiance can build into something big. So let’s talk about it — and maybe find a few small rebellions to weave into our own lives.P.S. I’ll be shifting to bi-weekly episodes for a bit while I live through all of this — thanks for riding with meAs always, you can find me on Instagram @neverthelessshleepersisted xoxo

From company bagel day to planning a wedding, this episode is a gentle reminder that stepping back doesn’t mean stepping away — it’s just making space for what matters. Hello and welcome back to Nevertheless, Shlee Persisted! This week’s episode is all about embracing change and the unexpected detours that come with it. I’m juggling a second job, and a full week of callbacks, self-tapes, and Cricut crafts—oh my!
It's been a busy season of transitions, and after some journaling, I realized I’ve been in my own version of a "gap year." I’m focusing on saving up, and taking the time to make sure I’m setting myself up for the next chapter of my life. It’s okay to take time to get your life together. Sometimes focusing on the “adulting” side of things—finances, relationships, and future plans—can actually make you a better artist.
So, if you're in a similar space, know that it’s okay to focus on your goals without feeling guilty about the pause.
As always, find me on Instagram @neverthelessshleepersisted and I’ll chat with you next week! xoxo
