Description

Hey, it's me Lisa O'Neill. Welcome to my podcast. Welcome to Offstage where I will be sharing some recommendations, some realizations and ramblings of my world. So if you haven't come across me before, I am a maximalist. I believe that red and pink always go together. I believe we create the worlds we live in and that our beliefs control our reality. I think the potential is accessed through our action and all of us have unlimited possibilities. I think that when we do what we want it leads us to what we need and that energy is everything. I love the idea that freedom comes from liberating ourselves from conditioning and limitations and that magnificent lives are lived by people who love themselves and the life that they lead. So if you want to follow me on that journey, I would love to have you on my podcast. See you soon.

If I had one wish to grant every woman in the world, it would be that you can ask for what you want. You're confident to tell people what you think and that you can be flexible and flowing in your beliefs.
Having a pocket of perfect is very important. Giving yourself space, doing stuff for you. Put something in every week into your life just for you. What is the thing you do for you?
Who are your friends? This weekend, phone a friend, connect with your friends and find new friends.
From Taekwondo to self-care to conferences to podcasts. It will be a hectic week but planning everything well makes it all easier.
I think vulnerability is something that we're not very good at because we are shut down from quite a young age. Having someone in your life that you can say anything to is really important.
It's a nice time of year to check in with yourself. Try and find some space this week to curl up in a ball and just notice whether you feel like expanding and stretching out, or whether you feel like contracting.
So many people are scared of living because they can’t get past the fear of dying. Let’s explore how love and loss shape who we are.
In this episode, I had a conversation with my good friend, Callum McKirdy, about mental energy and the importance of embracing one's uniqueness. We all have our own "oddness" which should be accepted rather than hidden. There are liberating effects of being true to ourselves and we should start with self-acceptance. Take the time to audit relationships and the people in our worlds. Changing how we think and our situations is important for living a happier life. The Energy Club is for anyone who wants to take responsibility for their energy. People who want support, accountability and inspiration.
Creating mental and emotional space in our busy lives is important. Give yourself space.
It doesn't matter where you live. It's about what you think. I don't think we should put limits on ourselves based on our address. Do you change who you are depending on where you are?
When things get hard, go soft. Inspiration and simple tips to find joy and be kind to yourself every day. Appreciating the small things that make you happy, especially when times are tough.
There's more good than bad. What is your attitude to 'bad'? Do you play the blame and complain game?
Physical and mental well-being are super important. I'm committing to self-improvement through 'power hour' - 15 minutes of stretching, 15 minutes of tidying, 15 minutes of reading, and 15 minutes of meditation.
What we want is on the other side of what we're not doing. Think about what August looks like. What could you do?
Feeling better and chilling on my birthday week!
All the shit you think is important probably isn't. Much of what we worry about is not that important in the big picture.
