Yesenia discusses how we can all learn to be patient with one another by using a patient experience that she encountered with a stroke patient that had hemiparesis and expressive aphasia. Yesenia demonstrates how compassionate she was with this patient that lead her to this point: learn to be patient with everyone, although they may be slower or don’t know how to communicate, just give it a try. It can be very humbling.

At times, we are so focused on the “not so good things” in our lives or day-to-day basis that we tend to leave out the good, not pointing out the good. Yesenia encourages her listeners to know that there is always people watching us and might surprise us one day. Just know that you are seen, your hard work pays off and there is still good out there.
