Robyn Graham is an amazing entrepreneur, former Doctor in Pharmacy, and professional photographer, turned branding strategist and coach for multi-passionate women in their second phase of life. She's got an awesome story about how she built her own personal brand through various shifts in her business over the last 10 years to now serve women to create really amazing personal brands and launch businesses with solid foundations. I loved this conversation with Robyn. she's got so much value to share from her journey as a business founder, and from her days as a brand photographer to where she is now, in her second phase with a thriving business, 3 kids and a life she's created that truly inspires me! Listen along to hear all about how she decided to shift her business and why, how you can create and get into action using her 5 C's principle and where to really focus your energy and time in those first throes of setting up your business. I especially loved her take on how to avoid comparing yourself in the first year of your business - and some great actionable tips on how to get so much confident in you own expertise, skills and unique genius. We discussed how values really influence and shape your business brand, how to be true to who you are as a person , and getting into alignment for yourself so you can serve your clients better. Welcome to this episode. You'll learn how I approach content creation in a way that's easy and simple - and works in finding you your ideal clients online. There are three factors to think about when you're writing anything for your audience. Your content has got to get in front of people (reach and visibility), it has to build relationships with your audience (engagement) and it has to show them how to take the next step. So often we can overcomplicate this entire process unneccessarily. You’re feeling like you have to be consistent and show up in multiple places in order to create enough content to be effective. You’re not getting seen. You’re creating and creating but it’s not cutting through effectively due to the algorithm and how social media just works. You have to be able to do three things with your content and in this episode I’m going to walk you through the different jobs that your content has so you can start organising what you’re doing and understanding what goes where - and what's going to work the best in getting you the results you want. The three different areas to consider when creating your marketing and content strategy- 1 - Reach (getting in front of new people) 2 - Engagement and relationship building - content that answers a question, solves a mini problem or offers a new perspective. 3 - Action - the content that compels your audience to take the next step. To click the button, book the call or buy the course. When you put this into action the results you'll see will be more visibility across social platforms, more engagement and conversation with your audience, and more people taking action to work together. Your content will be creating more value for your audience, it will be way easier to sit down and write, and take you less time. I hope you enjoy this episode and put it to use to get results in your business! If you've loved this, please could you do me a huge favour and rate and review. This is the best way that more business owners can get this resource so they can get the help they need too. Thank you! I appreciate it. I've got something to help you sign more clients in 4 days. I know the places most entrepreneurs get stuck with their selling and marketing. So I created a free sequence of trainings to address them all - and give actionable, tactical help to help you plug the holes in your process and get in front of more ideal clients in a way that inspires them to reach out. The training is over four sessions, each session focuses on just one thing that will get you more visible and compel more of your best clients into action. Your future growth and business success relies on getting the basics right first. Having enough people know what you do, telling them how the process works. Educating them on how it's going to work for them and showing them the next step. This episode is a deep dive into the first step- how to describe WHAT you do so clearly that your best people can find you easily, relate to you and understand you've got what they want. It has to answer a few things - It has to be the result of what you offer - not the process or the container. It has to answer a question they're having in their mind about their problem And it has to be what they want. Tune in next week to hear step two - telling them your process, or how they're going to get from A to B by working with you. I hope you enjoy this episode. If you do, please share, rate and review it so more entrepreneurs can get more help to build their businesses. The only way more people can discover this free resource is by sharing and leaving a review - I will be massively grateful to you. Let's talk about goal setting. Why do it? Why is it so important to set them in our business life and personal life? Honestly, I think the 12 month cycle of goal setting can sometimes work against us - especially if you have a really big vision. I want to help you set goals - not ones that other people have given you as the 'right' ones, but ones that truly excite, ignite and inspire you as well as freak you out. I'm not talking about looking at last year and adding 10% to your money goal. We don't do that here. We don't base your future goals on your past performance. Come on. You know me by now. I'm talking about your huge, vision expanding, life changing and brain breaking goals. How to think about them. How to create one that creates energy, momentum, inspiration and FIRE in you. How to get it and take actions whilst feeling that energy. Enjoy this episode, I can't wait to hear what you're deciding to go after next year and well beyond. To join my free workshop, just message me on Facebook or follow on Instagram to get the link. To work with me 1-1, sign up for a free consultation and I'll show you how I can help you grow your business.
To create a sustainable, and joyful business, you need to work on creating three core emotions in you and your clients. Certainty, trust and safety. Without them, you're going to be working against yourself all the time. It's going to feel challenging to market and sell and deliver your experience for your customers. Without these feelings, your clients won't be able to take action, or there'll be something stopping them from signing up to work with you (and they won't now what) The great news is you can help them feel those things through what you say. Understanding this will change how you show up when you're inviting people into your world. When you also know there are four fundamental questions that you have to answer in order for them to buy from you, things will change dramatically. When your customers are considering working together, these are the things on their mind; Question number 1 - 'Will this work?' As humans with a problem, we only care about one thing. Can this person or product solve this problem? That's the start and end of it. You have to address this - tell them AND show them how in fact it will work, and why it works. Question Number 2 - 'Oh, but will it work for ME' We all think we're different and special rainbows (and of course we are.. naturally!) but when it comes to problems and circumstances, chances are it's the same stuff everyone else has going on for them too. But we think we're special and different and set apart - so this won't work for us. It's your job to tell your clients how it will work for them - even with all their special situations. Give them examples. Show them how that's not going to get in the way. Think about it, and solve for it in your content. Question number 3 - 'How does it work?' Show your clients the exact steps they'll take. It's not enough just to say 'it's going to work'. You have to be able to walk them through it. They have to imagine themselves doing it. Question Number 4 - 'What will I have to give up?' We fear uncertainty, change and loss. Most of our daily lives are born out of habits to protect us from these things. Reassure your clients - show them the other side. Show them all they have to gain and show them how what they think they'll have to lose isn't true. How you know you're not addressing one of these 4 things? You'll have similar objections popping up a lot on calls, but you don't feel you really got down to the true reason. If you don't answer one of these, you'll hear this - 'I have to consider it' 'Give me time to think it through' 'Sounds great, let me come back to you' Or you'll have money objections. When you answer all 4, you won't have objections. When you give these answers in your content, clients come to your sales call ready to work together. Episode 46 There are 8 main problems I see in early stage business owners. They're the key reasons why they're not seeing the results they want to. This is for you if you've owned a business for 1-3 years, maybe even more, and you're not seeing the growth you expected. I really got to thinking about this as they are the main problems I see when I have sales calls with potential clients - they're usually experiencing a few of these all at once, so I thought it would be helpful to lay this out for you so you can see where these might be happening for you and how to fix them. The good news is that all of these have solutions - and they might not be the ones you think! The 8 problems I see are: - Jumping from one strategy and tactic to the next which creates inconsistency in your results - Changing your offer, your audience or your price often - Not setting a clear income goal for the year - Not making sales - or having sales calls at all. Or having lots of calls with the wrong people - Having a complicated sales process that confuses your clients - Content takes you ages, and creates pressure for you. You feel you have to be in all the places and it's overwhelming - Relying on networking to create clients, which is inconsistent and time consuming. - Troubleshooting problems that are way beyond your current business stage - i.e. facebook ads when you haven't made consistent £5k/£10k per month Enjoy this episode!
