I’ve got a big question for you today… one I’m betting no one’s asked you in a while: What does success mean to you now? Not the version you scribbled in a vision statement 20 years ago. Not what your parents wanted. Not the one culture that flashes at you with big vacations and busy calendars. I’m talking about your definition. Right now. In this season. With the life you actually have—not the one you’re still chasing. Here’s why I’m asking…over the past few months, I’ve been having conversation after conversation—at dinner tables, over coffee, on coaching calls—with people from all walks of life who are wrestling with this very question. People who’ve climbed their mountains. Built the things. Launched the dreams. And still are unsure. Sometimes, they even feel pressure to be more successful than they currently feel. So I ask them: “What does success mean to you?” Lately, I’ve been sitting at dinner tables, over coffee, and on coaching calls, with people of all walks of life who are wrestling with this one big question: What does success mean to you now? Not the definition you wrote in a vision statement two decades ago. Not the version you inherited from your family. Not what our culture flashes at you. I mean today, in this season, in your life as it is right now. And here’s what I’ve been noticing: many of us have climbed mountains, launched dreams, built families and meaningful careers, but still feel uncertain. Still feel a pressure within to chase more. So, let’s pause. Let’s reevaluate. And let’s talk about what success really looks and feels like after the climb. In this episode, I’ll walk you through redefining success based on your current season, explain why it matters, discuss how it can change your life, and show you how to start today. Our mission is to help you become unstoppable, enabling you to do your best work of your career while enjoying more inner peace and freedom. You’ve achieved everything you were supposed to: a successful career, a full family life, the ability to get things done. And yet, you find yourself asking… Why don’t I feel more satisfied? Why am I still not at peace? In this deeply personal episode of Playing Full Out, I step away from the quick tips and high-performance tools to share the truths we often don’t talk about—the emotional toll of always being “on,” the subconscious fear of not being enough, and the secrets we keep even from ourselves in the name of success. I’ll share: The silent weight many high achievers carry (but rarely name) Why constant busyness is often a mask for buried emotion The one question my coach asked that cracked open everything for me Why real peace doesn’t come from doing more—but from telling the truth about what’s driving you The difference between happiness and peace (and why most of us are chasing the wrong one) Whether you're in leadership, parenting, caregiving—or all three—this episode is an invitation to look under the surface, be honest about what you’ve been carrying, and discover that peace isn’t earned... it’s uncovered. 🎧 Listen now and begin the process of reclaiming your inner calm. Our mission is to help you transform your life and leadership, amplify your happiness and triple your productivity without the confusion, self-doubt or striving so you can make an impact and live the life you love. Do you find yourself compulsively moved to action even when you want to rest? You promise yourself you’ll slow down after you get just one more thing knocked out. But then something else needs to be accomplished or fixed – and well aren’t you the person to do that? For many of us today, the way we are approaching our life and work is dysregulating our performance and nervous systems. What worked for so long is now wreaking havoc and many don’t know how to pull out of it. In this episode, I’m looking at the epidemic of hyper-functioning, especially among highly capable, high-achieving individuals. The ones who when you look at their early training and programming, not surprisingly, were raised to save the day, caretake, and handle the perceived threat as quickly as possible. Today, I'm providing the tools to slow down and self-regulate those overstimulated nervous systems to ensure you are making your decisions consciously instead of compulsively. These are the same tools today’s greatest leaders are using to boost resourcefulness, avoid burnout, and enhance happiness and leadership. Our mission is to help you become unstoppable, so you can do your best work of your career while enjoying more inner peace and freedom. How do you engage in pressured situations while maintaining your best self? What do you do to manage and prevent stressful situations from negatively impacting your behavior? In an ideal world, we don't feel pressure at all—we hold boundaries, disarm conflict, and let things roll off our back. But we know that's not reality all the time, right? We are complex creatures with emotions and past experiences that can trigger us. Whether it’s deadlines, difficult conversations with colleagues, or even complicated family matters — pressure is an unavoidable part of life. Of course, being self-aware is the first and foremost way to decrease our reactivity. By examining what triggers us, shining a flashlight on our blindspots and peeling back the layers, we can unlock our best selves and our best levels of leadership. BUT what do you do when the pressureful situation still strikes and you are knee-deep in it? In this episode, I'll dive into how we can handle these moments in real-time without losing control and instead become models of the behavior we most want to see in our board rooms, classrooms, and family rooms. Our mission is to help you become the best version of you so you can do the best work of your career while you enjoy more inner peace and freedom. We’re back with Part 2 of the incredibly insightful conversation with Leslie Neugent about The Enneagram! The Enneagram can greatly improve your leadership abilities and your relationships. I always say self-awareness is our greatest advantage and that is on full display in this conversation. As you realize more about yourself and those around you, you are able to easily approach all relationships with a new level of compassion. I know first-hand—my family and I have been able to leverage this unique personal development tool, which I share more about in this episode. But what makes the Enneagram different, how does it work, and how does it improve our relationships? We’re covering all of that in this episode with Leslie. As we did last episode, we take a look at how our perception in childhood creates our motivations and coping mechanisms that we bring with us into adulthood (and our work). Leslie is a friend and sought-after relationship consultant and Enneagram expert! I’m so excited to have her join me for this continuation of our in-depth conversation about the 9 Enneagram types, their superpowers (or gifts), as well as blindspots for each one to be aware of. There is, in fact, so much detail Leslie shares with us that we divided the conversation into two episodes. Be sure to catch Part 1 of this enlightening interview! You already know relationships are the foundation to a life well lived. Yet most of our relationships with our spouse, kids, siblings, parents, colleagues and clients are left wanting for something more. Since our relationships matter so much doesn’t it make sense that we become better at them? [Enter the Enneagram.] The Enneagram can greatly improve your leadership and your relationships. I know first-hand—my family and I have been able to leverage this unique personal development tool to improve our family relationships. But what is the Enneagram, how does it work, and why does it matter? We’re covering all of that in this episode with highly sought after relationship consultant and enneagram expert, Leslie Neugent. And we begin the conversation with a peek into how our childhoods shape the adults we become and the coping mechanisms we develop. Leslie is not only a friend, but she’s also a sought-after relationship consultant, Enneagram expert, and speaker! I’m so excited to have her join me for this in-depth conversation about the 9 Enneagram types, their superpowers (or gifts), as well as the blindspots of each.
