Do you compare to other Real Estate Agents in your marketplace? Oh man…I do it all the time. It can be easy to compare ourselves, or get a case of imposter syndrome in this industry. What is important to do is to remember, we are all just regular people! Regular people with regular jobs, and we all have the capacity to reach the same level of success. This is what I want the take away from this episode to be - Why are you doing what you are doing?  What is behind your motivation?  What is it that is going to cause you to keep going?  What will make you change a habit?  What is powerful enough to cause you to do what you do, even if you don’t see results instantaneously?  What is driving you to make that call?  Why are you committing?  Why are you putting out the efforts, the connections, the phone calls, the visits, the volunteering, the sleepless nights…all of that …. Tenants can actually be a source of business. I have had many tenants refer business to me without ever buying a home with me. I have listed properties that had tenants living in the home, and they had full capacity to buy, and the listing of the home was the catalyst to get them seriously thinking about buying. I have sold multiple properties to tenants living in homes that I list for sale. The key to this is always, always, always remember to be open for opportunity. Always. Every single human being that meet. However that happens. Is a person that can lead you to business. Create more value out of your time by upping your game. That is really it, isn’t it. Its about creating more value for your time output. I was listening to a group of people chatting away on Clubhouse while I was getting ready for the day. There were new agents in the room talking about how they are having trouble getting clients. I listened to the advice that was given. I think that there were some good points brought up. But nobody spoke about the most high value activities, at all.
