Hi, welcome to my third episode. Those of you who are new and did not listen to my first and second episodes, please listen to them for continuity. I welcome you to send me voice messages if you have any questions. I will include my feedbacks to your selected questions in my presentations. This third episode is my third reason why I prefer spirituality over religion. What we will learned in this third episode is that as spiritual persons who are explorers of spiritual truths and values. We are unshackled from all human-created limitations to explore spirituality in our lives. To this end, we learned two pointers on being spiritual explorers of truths and values. First, we do not allow any one belief to enslave us. And secondly, we respect experiential differences in the spiritual experiences of others.
Hi, welcome to my second episode. Those of you who are new and did not listen to my first episode, please listen to it for continuity. I welcome you to send me voice messages if you have any questions. I will include my feedbacks to your selected questions in my presentations. This second episode is my second reason why I prefer spirituality over religion. We need to look within ourselves and develop our spiritual thinking, attitudes, character that will produce the spiritual fruits that others can enjoy. Spirituality is within us. It cannot be purchased or manufactured. It can only be grown as a lifelong process. Thank you for being with me in episode two. I look forward to seeing you in episode three. See you then. He also gave three exemplary activities on how to practice spirituality in our daily lives. He succinctly described in episode one is that spirituality is not something magical, mysterious, or ritualistic, Spirituality is attainable and can be practiced in our daily lives.  --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/dr-thesigan-nadarajan/message

In episode 4, we will earn what are channels and how to select the relevant channels for a message.  An example would be using a multimedia channel to enhance a speech that can incite or influence the feelings and emotions of listeners. We can also apply the principles of channels to a cross-cultural scenario. An example would be to use a cultural event as a channel to convey a cultural message.  --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/dr-thesigan-nadarajan/message
In order to avoid communication failure, we have to an understanding of the basic human communication model like that of Adler & Towne. This model has three parts, namely, the sender, the channel, and the receiver. In episode 3, we will discuss the sender. The main lesson we learn in this episode is the importance of selecting the appropriate symbol to represent a particular message to be sent by the sender. In the next episode 4, we will discuss the channel for sending the message. See you soon --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/dr-thesigan-nadarajan/message
If I were to ask, how can we assess that we are living a holistic life? One way to answer this question is by how we socially interact with others. Especially how we communicate with people who cross-culturally different from us.  If we say that we are reasonably adaptive and can get along harmoniously with others then that is an indication that our attitude and thinking are reasonably holistic which shows themselves in our social communications. This is why people with racial and discriminative tendencies can't live holistic lives. Though they may be economically successful but are psychologically lacking.   With this in mind, I would like to share in this episode 2, how one can ignorantly, send a wrong cultural message. Since this is an audio file, I will discuss concisely, covering enough to make the points understandable. In episode 3, I will talk about the intricacies of human communication. So come back to listen, learn and grow together.  --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/dr-thesigan-nadarajan/message
