Saved By Grace

This podcast intends to motivate, inspire, and bring hope to people by sharing life stories and spiritual insights. People tend to confuse their fantasies with dreams, and my goal is to uncover the truths of life by shedding light on the darkness that has somehow found a way to hide. With the help of this podcast, we will dive deeper into understanding the truths of life. The truths of life can be opinions people have on a specific topic that the world now deems as facts. Do all men cheat, or are you just attracted to men who have traits of cheating? In time, we will know.

Embrace Time Don't Fear It

For years women have been told that the clock is ticking and time is running out. This has caused many to live life panicking, rushing what we call the process of life. The fear of time has been the cause of many people's downfall. When you rush into things, you find out later that you made mistakes, some of which can be costly.  Tune in to this episode's podcast; you don't want to miss it. It's Not Me It's You... Or Is It?

In relationships, we often think the person at fault is not us. What if it is? No one is perfect, but with time things are perfected. The question remains, are you willing to change or do the work for your relationship to last? I believe that people will always show you who they are at the beginning of a relationship, but it's up to you to pay attention to the warning signs. In this episode, I will dive deeper into my relationship to determine if the fear I feel is real or just self-sabotage.  #Truth #Relationships #Motivations #Inspiration #Redflags #Believe #God

Is It Ever Enough?

People always say, " When I become a millionaire, I'll be happy," but once they reach that million, they find themselves wanting more. Is it because they didn't believe they could achieve their goals, and now that their goals have been accomplished, they want more?  In this episode, I will speak on a few reasons why people tend to want more, even after they have attained it all.  Thanks For Tuning In ~Psalm 34:18 #Motivation #Inspiration #God #Faith #Contentment #Satisfaction

Inspiration Vs. Competition

The world teaches us to compete with one another, but I don't believe we are created to compete but to help one another. When someone is doing great in life, we should celebrate them and use their success as motivation to be better than we are now, rather than trying to be better than the one doing good.  The world teaches people that everyone can't win, or be the best, so that has caused people to go against each other instead of helping one another.  I love the bible because it teaches us that we can be great if we know what we are created to do in life and do those things. There are trillions of people living in the world today; one person can't help them all. Find out who you are and what you are good at, and do it. The world needs you, not a copycat of someone else. #Inspiration #Motivation #BeYourself #FindingYourPurpose #Truth

Minding My Business

It's natural for people to want to intervene in the affairs of others even when they are not asked to. I mean look at the celebrities on TV. The world watches them daily, worried about what is and isn’t happening in their lives. I used to want to save everyone from unjust things that I believed to be wrong. It wasn’t until recently that I realized most of the battles I faced in life could have been avoided. I’m not saying we shouldn’t fight for one another because fighting for unjust and unfair treatment is good, but fighting for people who do not fight for themselves is a problem. Tune in to this episode to hear more on this topic. #Truth #Motivation #Inspiration

What's Missing?

Ever feel like your life is missing something, but you can't figure out what it is? It's not easy having everything in the world but feeling as though you have nothing. Who's To Blame?

It's never easy for people to take accountability for the things that happen in their life. It seems as though people have grown fond of blaming others for lost dreams and failed attempts than admitting that where they are in life is no one's fault but their own. In this episode, I will talk about limitations people set on themselves and how to avoid making mistakes in life that will have you feeling regretful. #Motivation #Inspiration #Accountability

Real Talk

There are times when things get so bad that you want to give up, but you don’t because something keeps you going. For some, that something might be hope for a better future, kids, a spouse, or family members. It wasn’t until a few years ago that I realized that although I wasn’t giving up, I wasn’t motivated to keep going. My dreams for a better life started to feel like a fairytale, something make-believe that would never happen. I wanted to give up because there was no joy in living a life I felt had no purpose. It wasn’t until I heard those words, “Hold on,” that I was able to pause and reflect on my life. I was curious to figure out what or who I was holding on for. As I searched deeper for the meaning of “Hold on,” I realized God was telling me not to give up, that it is not over, but I could not help this feeling of emptiness. That is when the holy spirit revealed to me that everything I do is not for me, but for the ones to come after. The generations 50 to 100 years from now that will come across something I have written or spoken about, and their life is changed. It was then a sense of peace or fulfillment came over me. My happiness was no longer in the things I could gain now by writing books or making music, but in the impact it can have on life in the future. After coming to the realization that everything I do has purpose, it all made sense that all the gifts and talents God gave me are bigger than just me. Bigger than just making money and becoming famous. Bigger than giving my family a better life. What I am doing has purpose. Once I realized that, no matter what went on in my life, life was worth living. I pray that you find a purpose bigger than yourself; one that will help generations after you. Don’t give up because the world needs you! To read more visit: Grace C. Okoro – Motivation ~ Inspiration ~ Confidence ~ Hope (wordpress.com) #Life #stress #Faith #Purpose #Motivation #Inspiration

You Are Good Enough

I had a discussion some time ago with one of my siblings, and in that discussion, I stated, a king doesn’t have to make anyone believe he is king; he just has to be king. In other words, a person doesn’t have to prove to people they are good, funny, kind, or great they just have to be themselves, and those things will show forth. At times, we find ourselves trying to be like others instead of being ourselves. I used to struggle with this a lot. I would try so hard to show people that I am all these great things, but I later realized that maybe it’s not them that needs to believe it; maybe, it’s me. Like many of you, I faced a lot of insecurities, and those insecurities held me back from doing so much in life. You are great, and you can do excellent things in this world. Remember to believe in yourself even if others do not. To read more visit: Grace C. Let's Talk Love

I’ve learned that just because someone loves you, doesn’t mean they are compatible with you. Love is a lot of things; patient, kind, it doesn’t boast and is not proud 1Cor. 13:4-8, but to go into a marriage you need to also have passion, friendship, God, responsibility, and need to cherish each other. I see why God showed me a man that was my friend because growing up I never valued friendships at the start of my relationship. I dated guys because I was attracted to them, and not because I fell in love with having their friendship in my life. Now, I need more than just an attraction to be in a lasting relationship, even marriage. I have learned in this journey to put aside my emotions because you do not want to get into any relationship based on your emotions. Why? Because emotions and feelings constantly change. It is an endurance race, not an emotional one. I advise leaving everything to God because his promises do come to pass, you don’t have to make them come to pass. Don’t live in fear of making a mistake, or don’t set limitations on yourself by rejecting others for the “unknown”.  To read more visit: Grace C. God Knows What We Truly Desire

As children, we have many plans of who we want to become — some want to become T.V. stars, while others want to become doctors. But what if life hits you with the opposite, and you become the one thing you tried to run from. I believe that God puts in us gifts that the enemy at a young age tries to destroy. No one can ever predict how life will turn out for them, but one thing I do know is to always stay hopeful. God knows the desires of our hearts more than we do. We may feel that a type of person is what we desire, but God knows that it is not the person but the love they may have shown you that you need. God knows who and what can give you peace and happiness, but we have to trust him and his plans for our lives. Life may not be what you expected it to be, but if you just let it take its course, you will be amazed with the outcome.  To read more visit: Grace C. Friendships

One thing I have learned is that keeping yourself isolated is never the answer because isolation just brings loneliness. What you do is take time to know yourself to figure out who you want to be, the things you love about yourself, and the things you don’t. In doing this, you will figure out how to improve your strong areas, strengthen your weak areas, and surround yourself with friends who align with who you want to be.  Friendships are not by force but by choice, so choose the best friends for yourself, and be the best friend for them as well!

Should There Be Secrets In The Church?

Scriptures state that gossip betrays confidence, but a trustworthy person keeps a secret." (Proverbs 11:13) It is no secret that churches have been a place where people could go and receive spiritual advice, guidance, and prayer, so why is it that people leave the church feeling embarrassed, ashamed, and hurt? When someone betrays a confidence, it is hard to gain that confidence back, but there are ways to avoid this betrayal. Tune in to today's podcast, and I will go deeper into why these betrayals are happening in the church and some ways to keep them from happening again. Remember that no one is perfect but made perfect through Christ. We all have our flaws, but let us not allow these flaws to hinder the progress and success of others. #Secrets, #Christianity #Church, #Faith, #Gossip, #Confidence #Podcast. #Motivation #Inspiration

Being Uncomfortably Comfortable

People have gotten so comfortable with life that they would rather stay in the position they are in forever rather than move on to something better. It is uncomfortable for many to go on stage and speak or perform to the world, but they do it anyways because they know if they fail to deliver, their dreams will remain just that; dreams. Being uncomfortably comfortable allows you to be comfortable in your situation, but not so much that you resist the desire to do more or move up in life. Don’t limit yourself to the sky when people have gone to the moon. You can decide to be your worst enemy by never believing in yourself and your strengths, or you can be an example to the world that nothing is unattainable.  #Motivational #Podcast #Uncomfortable #Inspirational #Self-Worth

Silly Rabbit Trix Are For Kids

The 70s commercial "Silly Rabbit Trix Are For Kids" inspired me to dive deeper into why people want what belongs to others. Many might ask, what does this commercial have to do with wanting what another has? In the commercial, the rabbit tried to enjoy the taste of the Trix cereal, but every time he tried to take a bite, the children in the neighborhood would grab the cereal box from his hands and say, " Silly Rabbit Trix Are For Kids." I asked myself why the rabbit wanted the bowl of cereal even after knowing it belonged to the kids. The better question is, why do people want what belongs to another? Is it due to envy and jealousy, or does a lack of self-esteem cause one to believe that attaining what someone else has will mean they are also worthy? Tune in, and you will find out.

Hypocrisy

Don't look at other people's flaws, but neglect to work on your own. Everyone wants to change others so the world can be a better place, but maybe it is they that need to change. If everyone works on their character flaws and lives to perfect their weaknesses, I believe it is then that the world will change.
