Jen is a transformational mindset coach who works with women navigating the quiet overwhelm that often comes with success. They’re leading businesses, managing households, and holding it all together. But underneath it, there’s mental fatigue, emotional disconnection, and a creeping sense that they’ve lost touch with what they actually want. Jen helps women slow down long enough to hear themselves again. Through thoughtful coaching and grounded conversation, she creates space for women to make sense of the pressure they’re carrying, reconnect with their own needs, and make practical, sustainable shifts, both internally and in how they move through the world. This work doesn’t just change how they feel, it changes how they lead. With more clarity, capacity, and alignment, they make stronger decisions, show up with more confidence, and bring new energy into their business. They stop running on urgency and start creating from intention. Jen’s approach is realistic, compassionate, and deeply effective—because it meets women where they are, and helps them build a life and business that actually supports them back. https://www.instagram.com/something.glorious.coaching/ https://www.somethingglorious.com.au/

Over the last few decades, the amount of time that people spend sleeping has decreased, as has self reported quality of sleep. Coincidentally, at the same time, the average BMI has increased. We are seeing a trend of higher body weights and higher levels of obesity. A number of different studies have suggested that lower levels of sleep and poorer sleep quality may lead to metabolic disorders, weight gain and an increased risk of obesity and other chronic health conditions. The existing research points to a positive correlation between good sleep and healthy body weight. Today we explore why and how sleep quality and quantity impacts weight and what you can do about it. Here's to sleeping like a baby.

I sit here all day though talking about the importance of strength based training yet didn’t do it myself. All that changed last year when I gathered a few friends, found a local PT and started training and today, I am joined by my personal trainer and friend, Steph Perkins from Elevate Gym on the Gold Coast. In today's episode we talk all things challenges. What do people get out of challenges at the gym, what kind of transformations does Steph see and why they work.  I'm not the biggest fan of large, franchise based gym challenges and I hope Steph can give you clearer insight into what you might get from a smaller gym experience.
