HBO's got a massive hit with "Succession," and Brad Blanks caught up with one of it's stars Kieran Culkin (or as Scott Shannon calls him, "Home Alone's Brother). Kieran plays the infamous Roman Roy on "Succession," and he held true to the character in his interview with Brad!  "Succession" airs Sunday night's at 9pm on HBO.
Billy Bush is back! After a hiatus, he's returning to TV as anchor & managing editor of “Extra.” Re-branded as “Extra Extra,” it premieres September 9th at 7pm on FOX-5. He talked about the rough and humbling road he had to take before making his big comeback.
"I could not be more happy than this moment" 9-time GRAMMY award winner Sheryl Crow proclaims when she sits down with the big show, "It's great to be on the other side and not competing with the other kids at pop radio."Sheryl's sold over 50 million albums and has worked with everyone, but after all her success, this moment is where he wants to be."I am so happy, can I just say that it's so not cool," she says, "I'm so not tortured anymore...it's the best!"Sheryl’s happy because her new album “Threads” is out now, her final album has her collaborating with some of the biggest names in the business like Keith Richards, Joe Walsh, James Taylor, and Eric Clapton. Back from vacation and ready to go! A valuable bobblehead was stolen from Scott's office while he was away and the search is on for the culprit, we discuss the obsession and short supply of the Popeye's chicken sandwich along with other popular stories in the news.
Tennis legend Andy Roddick is in town for the U.S. Open in partnership with the IHG Hotel group. Brad Blanks caught up with Andy at the Kimpton Eventi Hotel plaza party and they chatted about the U.S. Open, fatherhood and much more!

Richard Marx, a GRAMMY winning singer, producer & songwriter who’s sold more than 30 million records took some time to check in and catch up with his old friend Scott. His 14 top 40 hits as a solo artist include “Endless Summer Nights,” “Should’ve Known Better” “Hold on to the Nights,” “Don’t Mean Nothing,” “Satisfied,” & “Right Here Waiting.” "We kind of grew up together" he says, as he reminisces about his 30+ years in the biz. He talks about singing background vocals on the Lionel Richie hits ‘You Are,’ ‘All Night Long’ and ‘Running with the Night.’ as a kid out of high school, and how Lionel helped him get his feet off the ground in the music business. "I graduated from high school, i looked him up" He says of Lionel, "he had just broken up with the Commodores and he said why don't you come by the studio and he had me singing backup vocals." He's working on a new album for his good friend Fee Waybill of the Tubes! "We've been friends for 30 years, he was at my first bachelor party" he says of Rick Springfield, who he's touring with now. Brad Blanks hit the New York premiere of "Shaft" and saw a familiar face on the red carpet. New York Jets star wide receiver Robby Anderson was nice enough to give Brad a couple of minutes, although as you listen back to the interview it was evident that Brad wasn't sure who he was talking to.
You remember this young man from the hit movies ‘Stand By Me’ and ‘Jerry McGuire, among numerous other projects, and now he’s a talk show host! Jerry O’Connell joined the big show to promote his new show ‘Jerry O’ which is running on FOX TV stations around the country. The premiere episode is August 12th at 10am on FOX-5 in NYC! Jerry shared memories of his New York upbringing and listening to Scott Shannon throughout the years. "Mr. Shannon" Jerry proclaims, "what an honor to talk to you, wow...i'm actually calling for advice for as what to do with this "Jerry O show!" "Jerry O" is getting a 3 week preview run in Wendy Williams’ studio while she’s on hiatus. Kelly Ripa will be his first guest in return after Jerry spent a period of time as her temporary co-host before Ryan Seacrest eventually got the job. Jerry admits "I have no clue what i'm doing and they gave me a show and now i'm really nervous and scared." Upcoming guests include Jim Gaffigan and Jerry Springer, while mystery guests will appear starting August 16th.
"It's the most expensive lottery ticket going" Gavin DeGraw says of the music business, appreciating all the good and bad that comes with making music and scoring a hit record. Gavin is working on new music and says recent deaths within his family inspired him to write the upcoming record all by himself. Gavin brings his rescue dog “Buddy” with him everywhere he goes and speaks glowingly of his best friend. "I've had him since a day or two before Thanksgiving, and now we're tight, we're a couple." He encountered Buddy after a Willie Nelson concert at a highway gas station in Texas. "He strayed off the highway, a tractor trailer ran by, I threw a chicken McNugget at him ...he came over and and sat down on my foot, then i took him home."  Gavin is playing the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester August 8th, 2019! "My brother, he had the eyes of the future on that place there years ago" Gavin admits. "He hit me up just about 10 years ago and said let's open a bar in Nashville," "I said nah" was Gavin's initial response. He eventually changed his mind and it paid off. "The first thing that we did was sign a 25 year lease on the storefront and the market just exploded." Gavin says they are expanding to 55,000 square feet by adding a bowling alley and a whole bunch more! Gavin also co-hosts the “HOW MEN THINK PODCAST” with NHL great Brooks Laich – they share men’s views on relationships, marriage, children & more.

Brad Blanks caught up with Milo Ventimiglia at the New York Premiere of his new movie “The Art of Racing in the Rain,” and Patty Steele could hardly contain herself while playing back the interview!  The movie comes out August 9th and is about a golden retriever named Enzo who bonds with an aspiring Formula One race car driver Denny (played by Milo). Brad Blanks was out on the parade route celebrating the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team! He was at the City Hall ceremony after the parade went up the canyon of heroes, but first he went to the fans waiting for the team to see how excited they were! Brad caught up with: Tom from Long Island all dressed up and lined up early for the parade, he’s excited to meet the team! A 10 year old young lady named Finn from Toledo, Ohio drove all night with her family to go to the parade 18 year old Eliza from Connecticut got to the city early for her first parade and is prepared to scream a lot! 10 year old Charlie from Norfolk, Virginia is a smart little girl who knows her soccer!
In case you didn't know the backstory about "the boat movie," here's a quick recap... A certain member of the big show couldn't remember the name of the movie "Captain Phillips" starring Tom Hanks, and when he went on the air to talk about it he  called it "the boat movie." Our good friends Opie & Anthony found the audio of the boat movie and had a good time with it (find it on YouTube, it's funny!). Fast forward to July 9th, 2019, executive producer Louie Louie used Captain Phillips as his mystery movie contest clip to help celebrate Tom Hanks' birthday, and it brought all the great 'boat movie' memories back...listen and enjoy!
