You ever sit there like, “Okay God… what do I do next?” Same. In this episode, I’m sharing what it looks like to ask God for direction and actually obey when He answers. We’re diving into the difference between our to-do lists and his will. Sometimes, what we think must get done is really just us trying to stay in control. But God knows what truly needs our attention today and what can wait.
I’m 29 weeks pregnant and feeling all the “what do I even do now?” vibes. Everyone’s got tips on how to prepare for labor, but honestly, I’m trying to quiet the noise and listen to God instead of google or anyone else. What if the best thing I can do is simply trust his perfect timing? In this episode, I’m sharing the struggles, the faith, and the affirmations helping me lean into his plan. He already knows the story he’s writing for our family. Spoiler: it’s not about trying to control everything!
Wayne’s decision to step away from social media wasn’t planned. It came in the middle of an everyday argument that uncovered something deeper. In this raw and unfiltered conversation, we talk about what led him to delete the apps, how constant scrolling was quietly numbing him to real life, and why it was affecting not just his time, but our marriage. We share the moments that opened our eyes, the changes we noticed within just days of his cleanse, and how removing one distraction created space for joy and presence.
Some doors look harmless, even profitable, until you realize what's really on the other side. In today's episode, I open up about my unexpected battle with spiritual warfare through something I thought was just a side hustle... a FeetFinder account. I speak about how the enemy disguises traps as opportunities, how God revealed the truth to me, and what it really means to walk away in obedience. If you've ever wrestled with temptation that seemed like "not a big deal" this one's for you.
After months of waiting, praying, and wondering if God was hearing us, we finally got our yes. In this episode, I’m sharing the real and unfiltered story of our journey to conceiving. The doubts, the prayers that felt like they went unanswered, and the ways God showed up in his perfect timing. Whether your wait is six months or six years, I hope this episode reminds you that God’s delays are not denials, and that he’s always working behind the scenes. If you’re in the middle of your own waiting season, let this be a reminder: your yes is coming, and it will be worth every moment of the journey.Tik tok: https://www.tiktok.com/@jari.hampton?_t=ZT-8yqoJO24ML9&_r=1
Today I'm sharing another personal part of my walk with God. It's about something we've been walking through with our baby during this pregnancy. At our 20 week scan, the doctors discovered two cysts in our baby's brain, and it's been a journey of prayer, faith and learning to trust God completely ever since.
Finding my church home wasn’t easy. It actually took three tries! In this episode, I’m sharing what that process looked like for me. I’m not saying this is the “right” way to find a church, but more so a look at how I worked through it. One thing I had to learn along the way? Sometimes you just need to shut up and pray. If you’re in a similar place, I hope this gives you some clarity, encouragement, or at least a reminder to let Jesus take the wheel.
In this episode, my husband and I sit down for an honest, unfiltered conversation about our personal struggles with porn and masturbation. Yup we're going there. We’re talking temptation, slip-ups, grace, and the beauty of growing together in faith, even when it’s messy. Just two people being real about the fight and the freedom. If you’ve ever felt stuck, isolated, or unsure how to bring these struggles into the light, this episode is for you. Let’s grow, heal, and keep choosing God, together.
It’s been a year… and everything has changed. The name is new but so is the heart behind it. In this comeback episode, I open up about where I’ve been, why I took a step back, and how God has completely redirected my path. This season is different. I’m not the same and honestly, that’s the best part. Welcome back let’s walk this thing out together.
Today, I have an important announcement to share. As much as I've cherished our time together, I've come to realize that I’ve been a dehydrated moody. Focusing tirelessly on filling others' cups while neglecting my own. So, it's time for me to step back, take a breather, and prepare for an even more refreshing Season 2 ahead.
See you in 2025 moodies!

We get into why people procrastinate, examples on how to break the cycle and even share some helpful affirmations. Hope you enjoyed this moodswing this week!

As always thanks for mood swinging with me!

From the subtle grumbles about sitting in traffic to rants about politics, complaining is a universal language and we all speak it.
In this podcast episode, we’re talking all things complaining. How negative it can be on ourselves and those around and how we can replace complaining with practicing gratitude. Once the complaining was done we touched on the concept of quality over quantity when it comes to friendships, emphasizing the importance of those genuine connections rather than focusing on a large social circle. Buckle up! The moody express has arrived and we are ready to break free from the cycle of complaining and the desire for superficial relationships.
Are they venting or seeking advice?
We all have moments when we just need to let off steam, unload our frustrations, or share our joys with someone who listens without judgment. But there are also times when we crave guidance, solutions, or a fresh perspective on our challenges.
Can one be more beneficial than the other depending on the situation? And how can we become better listeners and supporters for our friends and loved ones, knowing when to lend a sympathetic ear and when to offer constructive guidance?

Why do we fight so hard for a day off to fight the day off? This week I had a free day and loaded it up with my own chaos that drove me straight to the mic to ask the moodies - what should I actually be doing on my day off? Should I be doing house chores or relaxing at the pool? Is there even a right answer? Riding scooters, social anxiety, ice cream, losing a necklace, validating your feelings and more. Hope you enjoy this week’s mood swing.

In this week’s episode of all things moody, we talk daylight savings and how it should be ILLEGAL. Not into politics? Cool, but where are you with Team Apple vs. Team Android? If overthinking was an Olympic sport ya girl would hold the highest title. Our mental health moment is brought to by the little voices in our head called gut instinct, anxiety and intuition. Which one are we supposed to listen to if they all sound and feel the same?

Is it hard for you to take breaks? Learning that it’s ok to give yourself permission to relax, recharge and refocus is what this week’s episode is all about. People always say you can’t tell the tone of a text message; well I think you can. But who determines the tone? The sender or the receiver? Shifts happen, circles get smaller, but life must go on. Hope you enjoy this week’s mood swing and don’t forget episodes will release every other Monday.

ANNOUNCEMENT AT THE END OF THE EPISODE!
Grab your comfy pants, your favorite comfort food and press play. We’re knee deep in Aquarius season and it has forced me to speak up for myself more, say no, and say less. However, for this week’s mood swing we're talking comfort shows. What are they and why do we watch them? Is it stress reliving? Does nostalgia have something to do with it? I also shared some changes happening to the pod, so be sure to listen thru the to the end.

Happy day after the Super Bowl moodies!
Welcome to the mind dump episode; where I just let my brain do the talking. Does anyone have a weapon in their shower or are my intrusive thoughts getting the best of me? How does your social battery work? If you don’t let me curse in front of your children then don’t bring them around me. I pierced my nose and my mom basically disowned me.
