Internet privacy updates have arrived: Appleโs App Tracking Transparency Framework (courtesy of iOS 14.5), Googleโs Privacy Sandbox, and, basically a coming embargo on third-party cookies (which is explained in-depth during the video). So, in essence, weโre talking about the end (or at least a serious diminution) of Facebookโs Pixel, Googleโs Global Site Tag (i.e., Google Analytics), and other website measurement and tracking tools. Translated: that means problems for remarketing and lead-conversion tracking.ย

โช๏ธTikTok has high ๐ซ๐๐ฉ๐๐ก๐๐ฉ๐ฎ ๐๐ค๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ฃ๐ฉ, and thus, the potential for extended reach by way of its #ForYou recommendations and the Discover page.
โช๏ธFor goodness sake, #Instagram totally reconfigured the layout of its app to incorporate a dedicated feed for #Reelsโsmack in the center of the main menu. ย
But truly, who cares about any of it ULESS it generates businessโ๏ธTurns out it does! Glennda Baker and Krys Benyamein are reaping substantial rewards through their use of short-form vids: ย followers, engagement, inbound leads, and referrals galore. ย
A few more of factoids to think about while youโre watching ๐ค: ย
1. Per #VidYard, ๐๐% of videos at or under ๐ฟ๐ถ-๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ are watched to completion.
2. A recent #Wyzowl report revealed strong consumer demand for short, educational vids: ย how-toโs, DIYs, and explainer videos.
3. #Wyzowl also noted that ๐๐% of people want to see MORE VIDEO from business (in 2021).

YouTube is a different type of social platform. In fact, itโs less of a social network and more of a search engine. (No surprise given that itโs owned by Google.)
Now, the trouble with social sites like Facebook or Instagram is that your content is here today, gone tomorrow. To that end, I was recently asked to explain why one should even bother posting to their Stories, for instance, when that content automatically disappears after just 24 hours. Fair question! But based on that, I replied, whatโs the benefit of posting any content to your Feeds or otherwise since itโll only circulate (algorithmically) for maybe 48 to 72 hours once published?
My point isnโt to make you question the efficacy of creating or sharing social content (far from it!); itโs to showcase how YouTube is different.
Imagine publishing a video that amasses hundreds (or thousands) of views month-after-month, only gaining in popularity as time elapses! And, whatโs more, consider that for all those views (like clockwork ๐ฐ) a certain percentage of onlookers will inevitably inquire about your business services. Yupโyou heard right!

Real estate is (and will remain) a relationship business -- a quote-unquote, โ๐ฐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐,โ business. For instance, referrals and repeat business by way of oneโs past clients, sphere-of-influence contacts, or would-be buyers and sellers (leads) in search of credible/reliable real estate professionals. ย
The question is, from a marketing standpoint, how do you SCALE relationships? Short answer: ย AUTOMATION. ย
Leads are easy; conversion is hardโand, candidly, Iโm tired of watching quality agents throw good money after bad generating more and more leads that never (flipping) convert. Itโs a serious problem. ย
The distance between generating a lead and procuring a client is a long gap. In order to close that gap, youโve gotta build relationshipsโand to build relationships, you have to stay in communication. But how do you do that at scale? Once again: ย AUTOMATION. ย

Content creation ainโt no small undertaking! Writing copy, producing videos, designing graphics, and more -- w/o question, itโs a significant investment to time, resources, and effort. Granted, no other marketing or branding channel (comparatively) even comes close to the vast reach of todayโs digital and social platforms.
Trouble is, I suspect your content isnโt getting the, quote-unquote, โ๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ๐๐๐ ๐โ (in terms of reach and exposure) as it could or should.

๐จ Big online ad-targeting and user privacy updates are at hand to affect major marketing platformsโincluding Google and Facebook ๐จ
For instance, you mightโve heard about how Google, starting next year, plans to prohibit targeting based on usersโ browsing history ๐ณ Translated: interest-based audiences, intent-based audiences, remarketing, and a bunch more is up for grabs.
You might also recall the fuss between Facebook and Apple about a month ago whereby Facebook was in a tizzy about Appleโs impending iOS 14 update, in which will be included the App Tracking Transparency Framework. Basically, any app sold or distributed in Appleโs App Store will be required to show users a prompt asking for permission to track activities and sell that data to advertisers. Letโs be candid: most will deny that permission. So I bet you can guess why Facebookโs been in a tizzy now! Thatโs essentially their entire business model.
