Since 2020, we’re pretty much just holding our collective breath, expectations being at historic lows. If I were a youth today, and if I did not have Jesus in my life, I would wonder who what and how this world got so irrevocably messed up. it’s tempting to find someone to blame, but Bible prophecy clearly tells us that this is exactly what we can expect. Nevertheless, with the knowledge of Jesus comes the knowledge of the tension between futility and hope. It’s always difficult to look at current events and come away hopeful, but that is exactly what should happen if we are focused on the Kingdom to come. We talk about 6G with David, the surveillance state, Israel, social credit scores, and much more. What will 2026 look like? We have no idea really, because the devil is in the details, yes – but God is in the big picture. Hopefully, excitement about the wrapping up of all things is contagious.

Mary welcomes back Creationist Russ Miller to talk about the season of time we are in, which altogether looks like an end game in so many ways. Sometimes we think that the world remained somewhat static in culture and innovation until the 1800s, at which time there was an explosion of change in the 20th century. That’s not wrong, because the pace and scale of global transformation has accelerated in dramatic fashion, particularly with the Industrial and Scientific Revolutions. We also think in the church that evolution is the only thing we can think of that has continually warred against a biblical worldview. Tim and Mary take a look at the headlines, once again – and another news cycle that just bears out how late the hour is. Waking up to a weekend of violence, we have to not only ask ourselves why, but it makes us want to shout from the hilltops: “Enough! Stop it!” The average American does struggle with the lawlessness we witness in bundles sometimes, but we feel completely helpless to do anything about it. We look at why the evil is so ramped up. We also take a look at Europe and it’s unbelievable, unrelenting pursuit of a surveillance state. It makes us all wonder who exactly gave who permission to look at every chat and text their citizens send. Also, we have to examine the underpinnings of the Australian Hanukkah rampage and discuss what Hanukkah actually is. The signs were all there, but just like October 7, there wasn’t enough time or energy to take any of it seriously. How dark will it get before the True Light returns for His people?

Mary welcomes back researcher, author and prophecy student Scott Townsend to chat specifically on Ai in the church. This is a murky subject, because the church has existed for over 2000 years and never once said to itself, “gee we need technology to carry out our mission in the world.” And it will always be so, because worship, discipleship, study and fellowship do not need any additives or preservatives. Yet here we are, ethically working through this thing that the whole world is coming under, as if on cue. The Bible, interestingly enough, only mentions the end game of it, we are in real time seeing its genesis. How can the prophecy student not be on the edge of their seats over this fulfillment in real time? Tim and Mary look at some of the top headlines of the last week. We often ask ourselves, are things winding down, or winding up? Civilization seems to be winding down, in the classic historical sense. What is winding up is prophecy, marching to judgment in an unrepentant world. Where is that pivot point? As we head into another Christmas season, we know that the big moment that changed everything was “unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given”. For God so loved, he GAVE. Ever since that proclamation, lovers of Jesus have anticipated His return. And all the more reason with Israel securely a nation state on the world scene. And that’s just one sign, albeit a huge one. So today, we continue to point to the wind up and the wind down, talking about the focus now on the Middle East and Israel in particular. The Word tells us that there will be a conclusion to the ‘times of the Gentiles’, so we know that one dispensation will wind down, and Israel’s redemption will wind upward.  Another topic today is the latest from the Pope and his pro-Islam pandering, pretty disturbing on every level. Meanwhile, in churches around the nation, pastors are getting creative with Ai in multiple ways. The question is, are they as easily calling on the Holy Spirit to guide, direct and teach? This is an uncomfortable question for those who believe a church should be Spirit led, not Ai driven. We also take apart the Minnesota welfare scandal, and no one should be saying anyone “meant well” on this one. A full hour.

Mary welcomes John Haller to chat about what the world thinks about itself as we approach another revolution around the sun. Since 1986, The Economist has published it’s very own version of short-term prophecy as it relates to the upcoming year. Their covers alone for this issue are worth looking at, seeing at a glance what they think are critical issues that will carry over. Of course, we have the sure word of prophecy to give us the big Kodak, but it’s still fascinating to take it apart and see what they expect. Topics this year include Europe, war and peace, Ai, climate, and geopolitics. One of the biggest celebrations will be America’s 250th – unfortunately, every revisionist and political self-interest group will have a spin, and it will be nothing like 1976. Although, nothing resembles 1976 anyway but really, they will find a way to divide us further and ruin the whole event. It is estimated that 28,258 users watch porn every second and 35% of all internet downloads are related to porn;  64% of the 18-24 demographic seek it out on a weekly basis. When you add human trafficking as a supplier, there is clearly no lack of demand and it may never go the other direction. We chat about what families can do to keep it far from their homes and thus honor God in this matter as we are commanded. Well, from Genesis onward, since God promised to send a Saviour to fix our terminal sin problem, all of His promises are yea and amen. And the categories for said promises? Abundant life, a crown of life, a heavenly home, assurance, comfort, answers to prayer, deliverance, protection, the Spirit, power for service, resurrection, rest, wisdom, strength, victory….shall I go on? You get the idea. And what about the incredible way the US has turned a corner on normality with the outcome of November’s election? How does that affect the time table for the rapture? After all, the globalists have been in the red zone for a while, now a nationalist has intercepted and is heading things a different direction. Does it matter? Imminency is key of course. Learn more about Israel, dispensationalism, and the rapture with answers for those who oppose the clear teaching of Scripture on this matter. An hour to challenge us all.    

Today Tim and Mary look at a few pre-Thanksgiving, non-Ai generated headlines as we talk turkey about several things. First up is the chart-topping Christian song sung in the key of Ai. Should the regenerated sing what is artificially generated? And what about regenerative Ai? While it’s not something that is discussed often, if an Ai model can regenerate new content from scratch rather than just rearranging existing data from a database then we have arrived at another level. Let the regenerated of the Lord say so, so says Psalm 107. Then we talk about the caving to Ai that is currently in progress, and is that what we want? As they say in the Twilight Zone, “do not adjust your set.” Oh that it were so easy, because terrorists and other bad actors will use it more and more to turn against us on a grand scale. Finally, we look at turkeys and being thankful for more than material blessings.

Mary chats with Paul Scharf of Friends of Israel Ministry about the Pilgrims, and the heart of a pilgrim. The Bible refers to pilgrims and sojourners as those who knew they were strangers in a strange land, just passing through. Touching the world lightly. In this fast-paced culture of constant chatter and visual distraction, it has become more rare to find those Christians who truly are not conformed to this world, or at least seeking to be influenced by it less and less. And we are told to seek first the kingdom and its righteousness above all. Today we discuss Psalm 107, often referred to as the Pilgrims’ Psalm – not that they see themselves in it, but their experiences were reflected in these verses. The layout is such that those who find themselves wandering, imprisoned, afflicted, or just weathering a storm will find comfort and encouragement. Those who came ashore at Plymouth Rock were directed to this Psalm by Governor William Bradford, and Christians have found similar solace in every generation. Through many dangers, toils and snares I have already come; ’tis grace that’s brought me safe thus far, and grace t’will lead me home. In today’s NEW PODCAST, Bible teacher Dave Wager walks through what it really means to give thanks “with all our heart” to the God who provides everything we enjoy. Starting from Psalm 9:1, he explains that true thankfulness needs a Person as its object, not just things. Hope, love, and gratitude all have to be directed somewhere, and for the Christian that “somewhere” is ultimately God. Dave contrasts our American abundance with the deep joy and generosity he witnessed in a poor African village, where believers gladly shared their only meal with him and pointed every ounce of gratitude back to the Lord’s daily provision. Their example forced him to confess how casual and shallow his own thanksgiving had often been, even while living with full cupboards and constant comfort. From there, Dave draws a line from Scripture to our own Thanksgiving tables, reminding us that it is God who gives life, safety, health, work, family, and even the heritage of our national Thanksgiving celebration. He unpacks passages like 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18 and Philippians 4:6, showing that God’s will for His people is to rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and give thanks in everything, including hardship. Using Job, Habakkuk, and the history of the pilgrims, he shows how trials expose our dependence and highlight God’s faithfulness. Above all, Dave centers the conversation on the gospel, calling listeners to thank God for His “indescribable gift” in Jesus Christ, who died so we could be adopted into God’s family. This Thanksgiving, he urges us to remember that God does not need us, but He wants us, and to respond with lives that gratefully point every good gift back to the Giver.

Next on our list is the Judeo/Christian worldview and lifestyle that Americans have always enjoyed, and what has happened to obliterate it in one generation. Immigration, ideologies like Communism, Marxism, Progressivism and Islam have taken a huge toll on our freedoms and our prosperity, not to mention endless attacks on men, women and children who have to be open to being something other than how God created them. Now what? Plurality goes off the rails spiritually when a Hindu temple is erecting a 90 foot statue of a Hindu God down in Texas, still a state of the union last I heard. It’s going down so fast it seems. Then we discuss some freedoms of speech and religion that are also going the way of the phone booth – only with greatly significant consequences. Suppose God is removing His hand of protection from idolatrous Americans? Although we are not a Christian nation under the banner of salvation, we have held high the freedom, morals, and good neighborliness that love requires for our entire existence.
