Alaina Brubaker is a licensed marriage and family therapist with a private practice in Rochester, NY. For the past decade she has specialized in women's mental health issues. Systems theory is at the root of her training and practice with her clients. She is passionate on exploring the biological, psychological, social and spiritual aspects of a persons life and how those things have influenced who they are today. She believes that when we are aware of the roots of our struggles, we know how to challenge them, face them, and work through them.

Monica DiCristina is a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than a decade of experience in individuals and couples therapy. We kick off the podcast Episode with Angela Tucker, A very gifted woman who faced depression once she felt that she failed to meet certain family expectations. Angie is Marketing and Learning and Development professional in the Telecommunications Industry. She is mother of 4 Young Adults and grandmother to 4 Baby Boys. Having experienced depression at varying stages of life, Angela openly speaks about challenges she has experienced and encourages others to open up and talk about it their depression, identify resources such as family, friends, spiritual counselors to share with and she credits having Faith in God as a means to confront, manage and overcome depression.
