Description

Most podcasts that talk to or about “successful people” focus on “what it’s like today.” This leaves out the most important parts of the picture, “What it WAS like, and what happened.”
Our format concerns itself with all three parts of a person’s story, which is:
What it was like (where and how you got started)?”
What happened (what were some of the darkest times like, and how did you get through it)?br
What it’s like today (what you bring to the table these days).
We want to inspire you by bringing out the parts of a person’s story that really made them who they are today. This is the part people can relate to, and the part we feel that other podcasts out there are missing big time.
It’s exciting to learn about how successful a person is, but it is inspiring to learn what things they did to overcome the things that were blocking them along the way, especially when many of us just need to get out of our own way!

Ed Kless is a self proclaimed "possibilitarian." What may be unique about Ed's particular struggles is that they happened as a RESULT of his success instead of on his way to it.

There is no such thing as someone who is "Self Made." We've all had help along the way. When we find the right people to become dependent upon for guidance, we actually gain tremendous independence. Listen to learn how this works
Kacee was a “typical girlie girl.” By college she was headed to medical school (pre-med).
Misty wanted to be a waitress! Bottom line, early on Misty always knew she wanted to help people in some way, shape, or form. She was a "painfully shy" child. Then she started dancing.
Dawn was mainly interested in athletics, but she knew she wanted to be an accountant by the time she was just 16. Still after graduating from college in 1992 she went and started a family.
Not everyone makes it through what Chalisa has made it through, not to mention then becoming CEO of a healthcare tech startup.
In Step 1 we discussed how to get an understanding of what you are powerless over vs where you have power. In Step 2 we look at that powerlessness and explore where to go to get the needed power. Hint: We all have power.
David Cieslak aka Inspector Gadget shares his story. He grew up in a family of 6 kids where each of them had to pay their own way through college..
Stephen Eugene Kuhn knew that he wanted to be in the military by the time he was 8. 10 days after high school he was on his way. Seeing battle wasn't the worst part of his experience. The worst part came later, when the PTSD struck.

Doug’s early interests were in music and math, which do go together. When he landed his first job at Apple, he became really interested in computers and ultimately majored in computer science.
Seemingly Clayton Oates could not escape a career in accounting no matter how hard he tried. Clayton Oates did not get the best grades in school, yet he landed a job at a major CPA firm.
