     This episode focuses on the process of getting approved for a sub-prime auto (bad credit) auto loan.  The process is broken down to the most basic, and offers some tips on how to make this process easier for the buyer and seller. Those who have had to deal with not so good credit are very familiar with how difficult it can be to get an auto loan.  I have spent 20 years in this business helping people in all situations get the car the want and the loan that works for them. I have learned over the years that one of the biggest reasons the deal doesn't get wrapped up with a subprime buyer is providing all of the proper paperwork and documents up front to the lender in order to get the best approval for the situation.       My goal with this topic is to provide some guidance that will make it less frustrating and easier to get the car you need. 
In this episode we are discussing profit for the dealership and how it's obtained and the difference between retail and wholesale. I am using real life examples that we encounter everyday.  In some of these examples, it seems clear that the consumer can sometimes be misinformed or ill-advised, and in come instances just need it explained in a way they can understand.  This can be difficult for the car sales professional when all of the cards are stacked against them.  Sales people often times, have a stigma that has been assigned to them as being shady business operators.  In this episode we also talk about what help the salesperson actually provides and if that is worth it to the buyer.
There are a lot of different ways people shop for new or used vehicles, and there are a lot of things to consider.  Like where do i start looking? How much should my budget be?  Should I just improve the car I have? There are a lot of "gurus" out there telling you what you should and/or shouldn't do.  Bottom line is you know your situation and you should base your decisions on that.   We also talk a little bit about car shopping on Facebook, and how that can go.
Everyone needs a car, but sometimes not everyone can afford to pay for it.  We rely on banks to provide an auto loan. These loans are broken down into groups.  Prime loan (good credit)  Subprime (marginal or rebuilding) Buy here pay here (in house financing).  Subprime loans require a large amount of paperwork that must be provided by the buyer, and those documents must be correct in order to get your new car.  In this episode we will break down how to save time and energy gathering all everything you need to submit upfront for pre approval and get the car you need quickly.
